Narciso Eau de Parfum Radiante

I just bought this bottle, after a month of thinking since having tried it at duty free and falling in love with it. It is a legitimate flanker for the original Narciso white cube and black cube. Except, instead of gardenia or rose I smell lily of the valley here. There is the familiar prominent white, dry, powdery, fluffy and almost nostalgic musk in this one. It slightly reminds me of my childhood in the spring picking lilies of the valley in the cold morning with the slightest white frost on leaves that is white and dry but when touched melts and dampens. Maybe the aldehydes are playing the trick and making me perceive the scent this nostalgically, since I smelled more aldehyde 25 years ago. When it comes to the base, I still smell woodiness in here, but it’s not the same atlas cedar like in the white cube. It’s more like the black cube. In the white cube I could smell the atlas cedar that was one in my essential oil. Although, the cedar in white cube was way prettier when the bottle was freshly opened. After a couple of years it wasn’t as prominent and pretty. I will compare this with my white and black cubes later and edit this review. I don’t think it’s as similar to the louder version and absolutely not similar to the orange cube. I own those too and the orange one is my least favourite with the yellow flowers. Hopefully, this initial impression review is helpful to someone deciding whether to buy or not blindly.

I didn't know what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised here. Went for it because I have already own almost all Narciso's perfumes so... why not? But looking at the reviews there were so many different opinions, so needed to try it by myself. To my nose it is the cleanest laundry-like take on Narciso's line (along with Pure Musc Blanc, which has that clean vibe, but is not as laundy-like). This is crisp, bright. Very clean. It is similar to Pure Musc Blanc, but that one is more powdery and this one is sharper (which I like). I can't detect any odd note, but I also a lover of that kind of quite synthetic clean scents, so nothing is bothering me here. While I don't think it smells like Narciso's white cube, I can see how they are related. Both have a similar clean crisp shining white musk core. At the base, the white cube is present; but, overall, those are two different perfumes. Same family, different members. If you enjoyed the white cube, Pure Musc Blanc or laundry-like perfumes, you would like it. Edit: I'm back to tell this perfumes smells divine on the air, after applying whifs of this perfect clean, crisp, crystalline, floral perfume came to my nose. My first favorite from Narciso line, followed by Pure Musc Blanc. Those launches hit the spot: new twists to the old musky formula, more bright, young, crisp and clean. As a person that owns almost all the Narciso's perfumes, I'm so happy with the last additions.

This is a truly captivating perfume. Personally I find it the floral musk type. I can smell daffodils, heliotrope, musk, cotton, some woodsy notes and some very cozy, safe, happiness kind of vibe. It portraits femininity and elegance and is extremely easy to wear. I also appreciate the clear crystal bottle design. I understand from the lady at the counter that NR Radiante was only officially released a few days ago, and as soon as I tested it I fell in love with it right away. I purchased it immediately and am extremely happy with my choice. The sillage is actually quite impressive. I was wearing it while I was shopping yestersday afternoon and at least 3 people were asking, "oh I smell something really nice. It that you?". It has been almost two decades since I owned my last bottle "For Her" when it was first released from Narciso Rodriguez. This latest release of NR Radiante is stunning and I am glad to be in touch with this brand again. Edit 2025.4.21 Have been wearing it for the past two weeks and I am really in love with it. NR Radiante gives a bit of a retro vibe, and it somehow reminds me of the L'Air Du Temps by Nina Ricci, which was the first perfume in my life. NR Radiante is a bit more fluffy, more modern, and more airy. It works well with my body chemistry and radiate well without being too powerful. I really love it.

Omg, I love it! The first time I tried it I did not like it and found it very off-putting and a dissapointment. But I had La vie est belle Vanille nude on the other arm, which is a very soft, light and airy, fresh, sweet, clean girl fragrance. This smelled like cigarettes and gazoline in comparison. But today, right after a shower and ONLY this, it is amazing. If you are one of those who writes dismissive about "crowd pleasers", "nothing special", "mainstream mall scents", yadayada, this one is for you because it is NOT. It does NOT smell like anything else :) What does it smell like? Cigarettes. Powder. MUSK. Yes, like fluffy cotton in a cloud of fog/smoke. It is nauseating in a good way, VERY mysterious and like fairy tale like. I just want to smell it over and over. The bottle is fitting in colour but could have been given a milky, non-see through glass to fit perfectly. *Edit, my husband doesn't love it ;D. But he loved Guccia Flora Gardenia Gourgeouse Intense on the other hand on me, which I thought was too spicy. I have never worn musk before so this is new to me, but I intend to keep it. My son also did not love it ;D He thought that it smells like a clothes shop and made him nauseous. And he usually loves all kinds of perfumes.

I absolutely love this! If you do not like clean soap type scents don’t even bother bc that’s what this is. It’s so clean and comforting. I can see the comparisons to Byredo Blanche (one of my top clean scents) they are def in the same genre/family but to me, Byredo Blanche comes across more floral, something I didn’t really pick out until I compared it to NR Radiante. NR Radiante is the ultimate clean girl aesthetic perfume, it’s fluffy, powdery, not sweet at all, with the signature Narciso musk. I read a few comments about this having a clove note on other sites however I get zero clove from this. It’s translucent and soft, there’s zero spice, zero sharp edges. It’s actually very similar to NR poudree except there’s a sharp note in poudree to my nose that’s lacking in Radiante, making it my perfect powdery clean scent. I could smell this all day. If it’s ever released in the US I can see this becoming a signature everyday scent for me. It’s not groundbreaking or interesting by any stretch of the imagination however if you enjoy clean soapy scents check this one out. I only had a sample and had two days wear out of it but I received quite a few compliments both days that I wore it.

Ugh, how can I explain this. This perfume is like, if you were just having a really, really good day. It's giving: you just won the lottery, unbothered, new love, new house, new car, new haircut, new clothes, throw in a few booked plane tickets.. And this perfume. You're happy. Life is good. Yet it feels cozy, intimate and nostalgic. Like you’ve just stepped out of the shower, you’re clean and relaxed, lying on the couch and daydreaming about all those beautiful things. It’s luxurious but soft, put-together but comforting. I don’t know — it’s just very, very pretty. I just tried it once in store and knew I had to have it lmao.

I don't experienced white cube, but if it was similar to this new Narciso, I can imagine why it was so popular. Radiante isn't bright and sharp: it is delightful, cotton and calm. The carnation note could be oldfashioned, but in this composition is modern: feminine and vivid. Lily-of-the-valley is present as a soapy, mild aroma, nicely paired with aldehydes: fresh and clean combination. I was expecting strong musk base, but it is actually quiet and comfy. This perfume has its sensuality, but doesn't need to be loud. It is more like a hug. Solid and safe, but never gets boring. And you never have it enough. :-)

I remember reading the reviews on here before I bought this perfume and one stood out to me - the one where someone said that this kind of smelled like cigarettes. I looked at the notes and thought no way. Well.... it kinda actually does at first lol. It's probably the cloves? But honestly it's not even a turn off. Like smoking a cig in the sunshine. And I also think this smells really similar to Narciso Cristal. I have both. This one smells maybe a bit more like laundry, which I love so not complaining. I don't think you necessarily need both though.

This is the white musk you want when you don't want to be clearly perfumed, but still you want to smell pleasant and clean fo you and for everyone coming around. Has not the gardenia -white of the first green cube (that I love: why don't you Narciso Rodriguez take it back to us?), neither the rose or fresia of the other. No powdery amber or yellow frangipani of the orange one, nor the lipstick vibes of the pink one. This is real white musk, thanks to "cotton" and, of course, musk. More than radiante, I feel like "pure", in a good way.

I yearn for carnation scents, and I can smell it in this perfume. Radiant has quite a soft, delicate, clean and elegant aura. It is definitely powdery, creamy and lotion-like scent, which would suit anyone from any age group. However, I think the performance and sillage are not enough for this price point. It is a skin scent, and it lasts for a maximum of 2 hours. I wish the performance were better because I fell in love with this. Unfortunately, I won't be buying the full bottle.

New NR musk fan here! I just received this today!!! Another win for NR. Radiante is a soft and light floral musk that has longevity. This is the 4th hour in which I can still smell the scent on the back of my hand. On the dry down, I can still smell carnation and lilly of the valley. There is also a beautiful amber musk note that shines through, perfected by NR. Another win! I am so happy to have this in my collection.

I don’t divide it into notes... For me it’s a beautiful, fresh, transparent composition, and it smells like Syringa. I like to wear it in May especially. On my skin it’s so strong, I need max 2 sprays and I feel it 6h and more. The silage is long and strong at first 2h. It’s beautiful as all Narciso’s parfums.

Love at first sniff! Immediately had to grab this and make it my signature. The lily-of-the-valley and musk make this such a clean scent perfect for everyday use. It's not offensive or cloying at all and compliments skin very well.

Another fragrance from the Narciso line that I absolutely love, Cristal is the first one I tried. This one smells like a batch of freshly ironed linen, very subtle and elegant. The longevity and projection are poor though.

It’s a cute scent, but you can use fabric softener instead and economise.

This is a very pretty scent. I don't usually like carnation or orange blossom too much but here they are both rather low-key and they did not irritate me in the least. In fact I think had they been a tiny bit more dominant they would have actually provided an interesting contra to the gentleness of the cotton flower and musk which are the leading notes. Same goes for the vetiver and the elusive woody notes listed in the base. I did get some promising woody nuances in the opening but unfortunately they did not develop further on my skin. I might apply more heavily and in more strategic places when I test this again, which I intend to do because this fragrance is just so soft and enveloping that it's hard to resist. There's also definitely something retro about this scent as one poster already noted, and that encourages me to explore it further. Edit - testing this again, half a year later. It really is quite an interesting perfume. I don't think I want a bottle of this cause it's not really my jam but I am enjoying wearing it again and analyzing the notes. It's very nostalgic for me. Really conjures up a different era. The poster who suggested Anais Anais in the 'reminds me of' category is right on the mark. To my nose this is an updated, less intensely floral rendition of Anais Anais!

There is just something about this perfume that made me buy it without a second thought. I had always been a gourmand girly since teenage years but recently its become so mainstream especially with most of the brands making vanilla fragrances and I do not want to smell like everyone else. Also recently I have developed an interest for clean fresh out of the shower fragrances & skin scents. If you do not want to smell perfumey, and want to smell like you just had a bubble bath (the closest way I can describe the scent) or your skin but better, this fragrance is for you. I can imagine the girls who love the clean girl aesthetics be wearing this. Its not something loud or bold where when you enter the room people notice you. Its soft and feminine and even people with sensitive nose or dislike perfume, will not feel offended by this. But got to admit, the price is pretty steep.

When you first spray this fragrance you get a blast of aldehydes, with the florals. I smell the carnation and the lily of the valley. The opening is very aldehydic and the florals are quite heady, but that part of the fragrance dissipates pretty quickly. After the opening, the scent becomes more creamy, musky, with a slight sweetness and woody undertone. I do pick up on the vetiver in the deep dry down. Radiante, reminds me a lot of Anais Anais, from Cacharel, but with a modern twist. As someone else says, the musk keeps it modern. I wish the opening lasted a little bit longer, because its quite beautiful with the heady spicy florals, but overall this is a nice, elegant and delicate fragrance. You really cant go wrong with Narciso, I still haven't smelled a bad fragrance from them.

Im not sure why it’s listed as a summery scent as it doesn’t flourish in hot weather at all. However it’s perfect for spring and fall for sure, it’s very cozy, warm enough for a feel good type of vibe. Also it kind of smells like laundry in a good way so it could be seen as a clean scent too. The longevity is moderate and so is the sillage. This could be a nice signature scent for someone who’s into a "clean girl scent".

Nice but smell so much like Livre Blanc from Zara The musc from Narciso is not strong here but you can feel it at the base smell much like a fresh laundry scent very clean and cozy I don’t see the similarities with Hermes 24 Foubourg the white floral isn’t strong here and more of a clean washed linen I’d say it’s 100% office friendly The cotton flower here is very strong you have to like a “clean” scent to enjoy this

A lovely, soft and gently scented cotton ball ☁️ Radiante is not the next big hit in perfumery, it simply doesn't have the loud, brash and obnoxious traits to get there. However it's a wonderful every day easy, comfortable and very pleasant choice. Sadly I can't feel any carnation notes which is a little disappointing, but nevertheless it is a great perfume. Loved it at first try.

Fresh from all the powder! Very much a clean scent, but I don’t get “laundry “ as others mentioned. A very light floral, white flowers, which prevents it from smelling like an older woman’s fancy talc. I think the signature musk keeps it modern. I will reach for this when I want to feel fresh and airy all day. Safe for public places.

Lucky to be able to try this as it will be released soon, and I must say I'm really pleased. Powdery orange blossom and a bit of dry earthiness from clove blossom, I'd go as far to say it's similar to 24 Foubourg! Definitely reminds me of it, and far more accessible than it. Dries down wonderfully on my skin, a soft woody musk.

Soft, delicate, clean, fresh. A very nice scent ideal for your spring and summer excursions. When you wearing it it makes you feel that you are embraced with clean sheets. A aura of purity and tenderness like you hug a baby! I get a lot musk which i love it and flowers but i' m not sure if it's carnation or sth else.

Well, it doesn't smell like Narciso. But it's a lovely scent. It reminds me of high-end fabric softener or clean perfume. Narciso perfumes fade quickly on my skin, but this one lasts quite a while. I guess the cotton flower smells like laundry.

Eye opening stunning aldehyde forward, great after the shower and meditate positive scent. Touch of sweetness hitting from behind, feminine 100% takes care of herself, gentle and loving. ..like suede is also somehow inside...

Reminds me of valaya sooo much A great alternative I like it but it has that ambroxany BR540 smell that really putts me off Which i also get in valaya

Finally, something that resembles (even with its peculiarities) the unfortunately discontinued 'Oh! de Moschino'.

The new Narciso comes in a beautiful transparent pink bottle and is made with 86% natural ingredients, is completely vegan, and has a low environmental impact. The price, in line with recent price increases, is quite high: a 90 ml bottle costs €160. I've always been a fan of Narciso. Like it or not, their perfumes are always well-crafted, so I was very curious to try this new addition, which aims to be an ethereal counter to the hyper-sweet olfactory bombs currently available. Indeed, with summer approaching, I wouldn't want to find myself on public transportation in 40°C temperatures, wandering among the various Baccarat brands, and I hope there will be more new launches like this. There's just one problem: the fragrance hasn't arrived. The spray creates a cloud of alcohol that, once evaporated, reveals a generic fresh flower (supposedly cotton blossom, but could have been lilac), a weaker and flatter Narciso musk than usual, and nothing else. Very low projection, it's really hard to perceive and distinguish notes, equally unsatisfactory longevity, and the fragrance's construction is elementary banality. It's not a perfume, it's a fresh, housewares-store eau de toilette, the kind you can indulge in for €10. It's a shame, though, that it's branded Narciso Rodriguez and costs sixteen times as much. Actually, thinking about it more closely, I notice a good resemblance to Soleil by Fragonard, the same cold, slightly musky floral scent, with the difference that the latter lasts, projects, and costs 1/3 as much as Radiante. A glorified skin scent sold in a pretty, lilac/cool pink hue bottle for a little over 150 euros per 90 ml bottle! You be the judge if a scent that’s so faint worth so much money. For me it doesn’t... With the latest releases, Narciso Rodriguez has been disappointing IMO. The perfumes are soft, simple, powdery or soapy, very light but pleasant with minimal longevity and projection and cost a lot of money. They are usually built around clean musk, soft, delicate flowers and some woods. They are very repetitive and boring for me. NR EDP Radiante gives me laundry conditioner vibes. The earlier ones are more interesting, stronger and less expensive. I am not sure who’s the target audience for these, because most people are looking for value for their money when they purchase something and perfumes like NR Radiante or NR Cristal are poor value for money.

This is a very clean, almost medicinal and sharply defined musk. It’s also built on a vetiver base, but the musk clearly takes the lead. Its biggest flaw? It vanishes into thin air within minutes... I was about to say an intense version would’ve been perfect but then it started reminding me a lot of Poudrée. Although it opens on a slightly sweet note, it quickly transforms into that familiar Narciso DNA: powdery, medicinal, and sharply musky. Maybe if I bathed in it, I’d get the effect I’m craving.

This is creamy and clean, after shower or bed time fragance. Very innocence, no bother,skin scent, smell very similar to a nivea body lotion. Nothing grown braking, but if you like the clean, creamy smell of nivea lotion and want a perfume to pair , this is it! or the NR essence eau musc. Good for all year around. Evoque emotion of calm and relax. I find this especially ideal for rain days in spring/autumn, when you want something cozy and stay at home. Enjoy!

Radiante offers a clean, laundry-like scent, reminiscent of freshly washed linen drying in the breeze. It is not unpleasant, but I find the longevity and sillage rather weak. For me, it is not particularly worth it, as there are other, more affordable fragrances that offer a similar clean, fresh scent profile. It will likely appeal to those who enjoy soft, fresh, and understated fragrances.

Blind bought this. Kind of regret it. I have many NR frags but I don’t love this one. Was expecting more cotton flower and get more carnation. There is something a bit pungent or sweaty about this fragrance. I am not getting the light airiness that others are describing. Selling my 90ml unopened for anyone interested (I got a 10ml sample vial for free as a promo and I doubt I’ll finish it)

I rated as just okay. Has the cube musk DNA which I'm glad they are continuing to play around with. However, I don't think this combination of aldehydes and musk is for me. The notes don't change and it's all one big whiff of dryer sheet. There is something a bit rubbery in here too that I don't care for.

A powdery composition reminiscent of fragrances from the 2000s, distinguished by a bold floral note in the opening. Over time, the scent gently softens, becoming more delicately powdery.

This is very designer-like and light-wearing and lacks the signature magic of Narciso musks for me. Unfortunately not at all similar to my beloved discontinued white cube.

I don't like this so much. Not a dislike, just not really to my taste. I personally find that it's very one dimensional and cloying. Overly sweet lily of the valley soliflore. I DO NOT think it smells like the original white cube. To me it really smells a lot like Anaïs Anaïs. 🤍 I was actually hoping for the cigarette 🚬 scent people mentioned... But I get only what can be described as a bright, less dense, modernized Anaïs Anaïs. I prefer the CRISTAL Narciso. Though I dislike the similarity to ALIEN that I get, there. The funny thing is, the red cube, ROUGE, version smells similar to LOULOU for me, but with a rose instead of tuberose. I take it whoever is behind these scents is raiding the CACHAREL archives? 😂 Next up, EDEN, in a cube? 👀👀👀 Or GLORIA? That's much coveted.... Go ahead.👌 Don't mean to be an ass but I'm just sitting here wishing I hadn't wasted my money... I am not really digging this brand lately, with their million ways to make money by recreating other brands' scents. I see them flipping the bird at me from a comfortable distance on their yacht. For those interested to know in case it puts my opinions into perspective to help you out for hints and help choosing a scent, reading through reviews - My favourite Narciso cubes are the original and the Ambree versions. I LOVE those. I also LIKE Cristal and Rouge. I DO NOT like the black cube edt and I DO NOT like the Poudre, which obviously replaced the original with a far sweeter character to cater to whatever larger majority out there prefers a sweeter scent profile than the original offered.

It smells exactly like cotton dusted in a floral, musky powder. Because of this, it's a little different from the classic Narciso line. It reminded me of a girl lying on freshly showered cotton sheets on a spring evening, sipping her green tea in the gentle breeze. It has a really strong cotton flower scent; you need to love very clean scents to appreciate it. But the cleanliness here is definitely not shampoo-like; it's more like the feeling of freshly washed and air-dried laundry. The perfume has a retro feel, reminiscent of old Avon perfumes. Unfortunately, I didn't like it, both because of this and because the cotton and musk are too dominant.

Fair warning for Ambroxan haters: there’s some in the base. I suspect it’s why people keep describing the scent as “sharp” or say they go nose-blind after ten minutes. It’s not a major player, but for me, it’s an immediate disqualifier. I was really hoping this would be the fluffy musk perfume of my dreams. 😞

Smokey flowers and dust. Old smelling. Not clean smelling. Do not blind buy. The candle smells heavenly though.

Nope, nope, nope. This one is not for me. I don't like musky scents, so not sure what I was expecting with Narciso, but this one is pungent for me. At first it smelt like musky cigarettes, now in the drydown it's a musk with an inky quality. I will definitely pass on this one.

It evokes the feeling of freshly laundered linens, expensive soap, and the soft scent of skin after a warm bath. While it shares the musky DNA of the Narciso line, it is a departure from the the richer, more seductive iterations in this collection. There are also hints of orange blossom, which adds a touch of sweetness without becoming too syrupy. It is a fragrance that wears closer to the skin, creating an intimate and personal aura rather than a bold, attention-grabbing statement. This makes it an excellent choice for everyday wear, professional settings, or any occasion where a subtle and sophisticated scent is desired. Narciso Eau de Parfum Radiante is a beautifully crafted fragrance that will appeal to lovers of clean, soft, and musky scents. With the original Narciso EDP now discontinued, Narciso Eau de Parfum Radiante is perhaps the closest of all the Narciso flankers to its predecessor. Unfortunately, Narciso Eau de Parfum Radiante is much fresher than the original, and lacks the sensual warmth that made the EDP so addictive.

Ok, this one actually stopped the show for me. I can’t help it - I love aldehydes, I love Chanel (referencing as Chanel has mastered aldehydes) - what can I say? And no, to me that’s not “old lady” territory. There’s something timeless and luminous about it, and Radiante taps right into that. It’s clean, yes, but somehow it feels different from the rest of the Narciso Rodriguez line. There’s a brightness, a crispness, a lift. I get why some people don’t resonate with aldehydes, but for me, it can be (doesn't have to though) something transcendental you can’t quite put into words. Radiante doesn’t carry the full weight of what Chanel aldehyde would do, but it carries the quality. A good deal of it, actually. It really is what it says - radiant! --- Update: I've worn this for a bit now, and again I'm saying - wow. The carnation and aldehydes would really make you think this is a mid-century spirit made alive, especially if you've lived in the Eastern Bloc. But it is not the case at all - it is absolutely modern and contemporary. Not even for a split second I feel like this is dated, even though I like dated aldehyde scents. This is safely on a fast-track to become one of my staples, and possibly even all-time favorites. Stunning!

Sprayed it on a card in store because it was new and I have to check if it's anything like my beloved white cube. At first it had a similar musk note but was quite floral and very much "perfumery" as I sniffed it for the next few minutes, really nothing like it. I put the card and a few others into my handbag and kept shopping, and after a while I was getting wafts of white cube! I sniffed it up close again later and thought it can't be this one, it smells nothing like it. Then again the next day I have the card on a shelf and I'm sitting on the other side of the room and I'm getting wafts of white cube again, I sniff it again and this time know it's definitely coming from here. I will have to try it on skin/clothes but if it's anything like what I'm experiencing I'll be buying a big bottle for sure. I'm getting pure white cube, from 3 metres away, from a paper card! Insane. I had also sprayed poudree on another card, but I really don't think that's where it's coming from. Will need to test some more.
