Narciso Rodriguez For Her Eau de Toilette Delicate Limited Edition

Narciso Rodriguez for Her Eau de Toilette Delicate caught my attention when I decided to try it out, since I love musk and it was a newer flanker. I loved the purple bottle, which is one of my favorite colors and the ombre design. I tried it on and knew I had to have it! This delicate variation has the standard musk opening that almost all Narciso Rodriguez fragrances have, but there was something a little different about this one it was a tiny bit sweeter and less harsh. This made it an easier version of it to wear. The longer I wore it I noticed that it got creamier, sweeter, and fruity. I was so happy when I figured out it was fig! I love figs in my perfume! The part of this fragrance I love the most is the drydown, which is so creamy and milky. Sweet figs blended with a tiny bit of vanilla and a spicy vetiver. I also pick up on the orange blossom that adds freshness and makes it a brighter fragrance. Musk is always present throughout the whole fragrance but the strongest parts of it are the first few hours then it lightens up. The way NR for Her EDT Delicate smells on my skin makes me think that this fragrance was built to feature the musk and fig, because the florals are not as prominent in this fragrance to my nose. This is great for people who love NR or are looking for a "delicate" variation. I would suggest getting this one if you love musk and are looking for a fig fragrance that is musky, but still manages to focus on the fruit rather than the green earthy variations. If you aren't too fond of these notes I say give a try anyways because it is a beautiful fragrance that can dressed up or down. It also has great lasting power on my skin lasts all day.

I must agree that this Lol Delicate smells very similar to its famous predecessor EDT Narciso Rodriguez and yet different : more playful and versatile, not less but more nuanced: tutti-frutti, silky-milky, but not an iota less alluring and seductive IMO. The depth is still here, the longevity is amazing, even if the scent is close to the skin, its trail is unforgettable: musky, fruity, puerile, apricot-like slightly leathery aroma (osmanthus is outstanding here), soft and pliable, and yet rebellious and sensual at the same time. There is an aura of Lolita here, a perilous magic of nymphet with all her hazy innocence that gradually metamorphoses into sophistication of glamourous siren. And you're lost in this journey forever. Milky way is always there, captivating and beckoning in the Eternity....Tempting and enlightening...light of your life; sin of your soul..subversive, yet divine! Love, Love, Love!!!!

I smelled Narciso Rodriuez's For Her EDT on my first sniff. At first, I couldn't tell the difference between those two. After few seconds, the fruity scent started to kick in. A fruity (I guess the fig) and orange blossom scent being really playful. At the first few minutes the musk weren't really strong for you to sniff freely without the fruity scent, but its really strong on the dry down. I just got mine few days ago and when I got it I knew I just had to tried it. So I sprayed it and I took it to my sleep. It sticked to me until morning and even stuck on my pillow. Very beautiful scent to wake up to lol Overall, I really love this one, but I must say I still love the original For Her EDP (the pink bottle) most.

Another Masterpiece From Narciso Rodrigouez. On a first smell i fall in love whit this one. Very soft floral and warm fragrance. I recommended this one to every Girl and Women that want to smell Charming and sexy! I thnik this is the best one after FOR HER MUSK COLLECTION! And the drying down note is very lovely and gorgeous! The longevity and Sillage is good. 10/10 یه کار فوق العاده ی دیگه از نارسیزو ردریگز! خوش بختانه تو ایران وارد شده بود منم تونستم تستش کنم. یه عطر اروم و جذاب که هر دختری دوس داره اون رو داشته باشه. اولش با یه بوی میوای باز میشه و بعده چند دقیقه بوی مشک شکوفه ی پرتقال همه جا رو پر میکنه. نت پایانی هم ترکیب محرک مشک و عنبر به همراه کمی وانیله! خیلی دوستش دارم. موندگاری منسبی هم داره.

Smooooth musky creamy milkey , very similar to the black edt but this is a little sweeter and creamier yet. Too bad it was limited. Makes me sad. I stocked up on it but hoping they come out with this one day again. Its smoother and so wearable. It's your skin but better. Its clean sweet warm sensual and very calming. I adore the fig note. Makes the whole perfume fruitier a tat sweeter and adds milkiness to it. Almost buttery. So nice!!! Could wear this all year , all day , all night. You can spray this more liberally as it is not concentrated , more like a spray milk/ oil. I started spraying that in the ends of my hair, it's like a light oil and takes frizz away. And makes it shiny. Love it !

A milky green fig wrapped in musk splendors. Opens with mushrooms caressed by a brush of paint thinner, but goes away in three blink spans and starts settling into a note between stem milk sap and toasted coconut from green fig that leaves me with a hubba-hubba drool and babble. It is hallmarked all the way through with the house’s insignia of honeyed orange blossom and the musk that tiptoes between the silky vaporsteam of iron pressed cotton and a very judicious skank. I figure this one as in the NR typical brand lingo of clean urban lines, glass skyscrapers piercing a nebulous sky, slicked back or symmetrical parted hair and healthy spa skin. I likes.

The original in the black bottle is one of my all time favorite perfumes. This is a lot like the original, only lighter and fruitier. The musk has been toned down a notch, and it's not as sharp. I do smell the fig (fruity part) clearly, and that's a note I've realized I really like. I've never thought the original would be too much in the summer, I've been using it around the year. But for those really hot days, when you don't necessarily even feel like wearing perfume, this will be perfect. What i love about Narciso Rodriguez perfumes, is that they just blend so perfectly with your own scent, and I truly get the "my skin but better" feeling from these.

Amazing. Very simular to the original EDP, except it's the fig giving this a little sweetness, instead of peach. I bet if I wore these on both wrists, I would have a difficult time knowing which is which, so if you have the original, you do not need this flanker. Unless you just want the awesome purple fade bottle. 💜 Smells like cold snow, with a hint of floral, and a hint of sweetness. The musk is everything in this fragrance, and the reason I am absolutely addicted to it. If you want to smell like fresh clean snow, this is the perfume for you.

On my skin it starts very similar to For Her EDT version. Unfortunately I can't detect fig note. It doesn't exist on my skin. After some time it turns into slightly sweet-musky smell. I like that combination. It's sweeter than regular For Her EDT version but you can easily say that this belongs to NR For Her family. Eau Delicate indeed is 'delicate' and soft but quite longlasting on my skin.

I HAVE ZERO REGRET BUYING THIS. yes it is really musky (which i love), then i smell a little bit of fruity scent, and then i smell waaaarrrmmmm vetiver and amber. PRAISE THE LOOORD! seriously i wanna make love to myself, good bye.

Got this today and it's is done very well so creamy dreamy soft ,playful I'm in love again definitely wearing this all spring and summer.. Update so clean and personal let's snuggle.. 07.25.21

I think this is best of all the NR fragrances. Not so unequivocal and predictable. Very soft, amazing, intimate, sexy and warm. I love this when it is on my skin. Love fig opening.:)

I am a bit angry because of that I want all this NR fragrances. They are so similar but same time so unique! EDT, EDP and two delicate versions. Love!

Please bring this back, I have about 4mls left 😭

If you are familiar with the regular EDT in the black bottle this is very similar but sweeter and fruitier with an abstract milkyness which makes it more playful and carefree. What I get is a slightly sharp opening which lasts about a couple of minutes and then a honeyed veil of musky orange blossom until the warm musk - which is neither too animalic nor soapy but fleshy/clean - takes over the drydown. I find it to be an intimate scent, linear and very versatile. By that I'm not implying it's weak; quite on the contrary - you might not realize it but others can surely smell you so don't go crazy on the trigger. This is often a case with musk based scents. Would suit many occasions, dressed up or dressed down. I can see it working best as a night time scent for spring/summer, cold weather doesn't do it justice IMO. Is it a floral or a ''your skin but better'' scent? I'd say it's the best of both worlds. This version is not a femme fatale but more likely one of those ''next door dream girls''. Down to earth, friendly, approachable, nothing too obvious/out there, more stealthy if you wish but no plain Jane, rather someone who is effortlessly gorgeous in her simplicity. Edit: I finally ended up preferring the EDT in the black bottle which is edgier and a bit more masculine. They are definitely ''sisters'', Delicate is the cute and pretty one.

**EDIT 6/9/15** Okay, so I decided to give this another try and what I smell now is NOTHING like what I smelled before my initial review!! This time I'm getting a sweet, lighter version of The original For Her EDT. Hello, juicy musk! I'm really enjoying this. The first Narciso flanker that disappointed Mr. It smelled gorgeous on paper and lasted for days, again on paper. On my skin it smells like a lighter version of NR EDT at first but then sours into a strange kind of medicinal/chemical funk, and then (thank god) disappears completely after about ten minutes. No wonder the bottle's huge! Whoever actually smells good with this on would have to bathe in it for longevity. I returned it to Macy's today and swapped it out for my gorgeous original NR edt which happened to be on sale today as part of a gift set with lotion and a travel spray. Sometimes you just can't go wrong with an original. Le sigh..

As a For Her EDT lover, I own this bottle also. It's a nice clean leightweight spring version of the original For Her, nothing more. I'm not addicted to this one, it's more like it's boring me after a few days. That's also the reason why this bottle is in my closet for a few years now, I once in a while use it for a couple of days. If I would go to buy a new more fragile version of the For Her, I would now buy the L'Absolu version, which is released recently and is also a delicate version of the original EDT.

I purchased this today as it was half price because its so close to 2013, i thought it would be more similar to the black EDT which i love and have used for the past few years. The fig smell is really strong, almost overpowering, the musk slowly comes through after a while, but i think the fig smells a lot like dead ants on my skin, im happy this was half price and its only a limited edition, not my favourite version, the best so far was the limited edition in the silver bottle about 2 years ago!

Tested this one on paper for the second time. I have to say, that it is really similar to the original EDT (black bottle) but a bit sweeter maybe due to the vanilla and the fig. At first it smells exactly like the original EDT with some honey, orange blossom, a bit of musk, and than this slowly turns into something sweet and animalic at the same time. I have to retest on my skin too, in order to see how it works with my body chemistry, I hope I'll get a good longevity. So far: 8/10.

This delicate version is very similar to the original edt (black bottle). However, I can smell a fresh, yet sweet fig note at the beginning. The dry down smells very similar to the original edt, but noticeably sheerer and more fruity. It's also less "dirty/sexy" than the original edt, which makes it so much easier to wear. Another nice benefit is that this version is sheer enough so that it can be worn comfortably in the heat, if applied lightly. Just lovely!
