Narciso Rodriguez for Him Bleu Noir Parfum

In terms of presentation, the Bleu Noir Parfum is a departure from the Bleu Noir line in that unlike the dark-painted bottles of the EDT and EDP, the fragrance is visible through the grey-hued glass of its bottle and the excellent and close-fitting cap now has a matt finish. The Parfum also significantly differs in style to the previous offerings of the Bleu Noir line. It opens with distinctly sweet floral notes, reminding me somewhat of the original Narciso Rodriguez for Him. While I found this aspect disconcerting in the original I rather like the way it shows through in the Parfum since it does not distract from its objective as being a man’s fragrance. I would on further reflection perhaps suggest that it could also be regarded as a unisex scent. Mandarin oranges are present in the top notes but unlike Terre d'Hermes, is by no means as prominent. The lovely powdery character of Iris emerges and gives way to musk, the latter a distinctive trait of Narciso Rodriguez fragrances for men. I really enjoy the spicy, sweet, woody presence of Tonka Bean. I believe there are also Sandalwood and Atlas Cedar but I am not as experienced in differentiating these while there is a pleasant hint of leather. Longevity is easily the best amongst the entire range of Bleu Noir products, lasting 8 to 10 hours or so on my skin. Projection is moderate to good and the scent will over time remain closer to the skin. The Parfum initially seemed more of an evening/night-time fragrance but upon reflection is easily usable throughout the day and year, the exception being the high heat of summer. Wear it in the spring, autumn and winter and in the cooler nights of the summer season. If you love Iris-based sweet, powdery fragrances I am certain you will enjoy the Bleu Noir Parfum. Beautifully-crafted with all its constituent elements in wonderful harmony, it is the longest-lasting of all the Bleu Noir range and its most widely-appealing. My humble rating 9.7/10. Of the entire Bleu Noir range, I can confidently say ' This is the One '. It is the most balanced, has the greatest longevity and is one of my top five signature scents.

Have you ever wanted to smell like your middle name ACTAULLY IS smooth? Or have you ever wanted to smell like you actually know what the hell you're talking about? Or do you want both of these things but don't want to smell like a pompous asshole? Well my friends, if you answered yes to one or all of these questions: this frag is for you! A beautiful opening of fresh citrus and spicy cardamom with that classic Narciso Rodriguez musk backbone that dries down to smooth powdery iris with a lovely combo of sweet and creamy sandalwood, smooth suede, androgynous woods, and the aforementioned muskiness. While I would agree with a lot of the other reviews that there is a pretty clear connection that could be made with Valentino's "Uomo" or Dior's "Homme Intense", I feel like this is (at least in my opinion) the best out of the three. You get the mass likeability of both, but the blend in this one is much smoother than either of the previously mentioned. Additionally, the sweetness in this isn't as loud and doesn't read vanilla to my nose, but very creamy sweet sandalwood. That being said, I think if you own any of those, owning this would be redundant. Comparisons aside, this is and has been a super easy reach for me ever since getting it. If you are looking for one of the better iris focused fragrances on the market right now, I have to suggest getting your nose on this. Leans masculine to my nose, but wear what you want. I can see this becoming a love with even more wearings, but that is up in the air. Easy scent for any time, and any place, this SINGS in the summers heat if you are easy on the trigger. Long lasting performance with moderate projection for a majority of it, I get 8-9 hours with 4.5 consistent arms reach projection. EDIT: I have worn this so fucking much I am kind of at a loss for words. This grew on me so much ever since I got it, and wow it truly is amazing. This is so classy yet sexy, fresh yet sweet, spicy yet creamy, and all the while wholly versatile. Certified staple in the rotation for dumb reach days, has been a really good compliment getter for me. 10/10. Signature Scent Worthy.

I could not agree more with TBonetheFella. This is the latest Iris based fragrance in my collection. I have been wearing it more often than anything I have bought in recent years. I have 4 from this line.Only this one has Iris. I had 3 Dior's, now only 2. Love them. I have 4 Prada's Iris based. Love 4 of them. I have 5 Givenchy Gentleman love 2 of them, like another 2. I have 3 Valentino's Uomo. Love 1, like the others. Also have Zara 9.0. It's good. Van Cleef and Arpels Bois de Iris and Ermenegildo Zegna Florentine Iris, are of a different category. More exclusive. Even have a very good Divain clone of Dior Bois D'Argent. Love them all. Narciso Rodriguez for Him Bleu Noir Parfum, is not strong. Not as dense as Prada L'Homme Intense. Does not project as much a Givenchy Gentleman Eau de Parfum. Does not bear the Diva vibe like Dior Homme Parfum, nor has it the Christmas Gourmand vibe of Dior Homme intense. It is not as unique as Valentino Uomo Intense, in which Leather leads Iris, claiming the ball room floor. Nor is it as good for Summer as Prada Infusion de Iris Cedre. Or Prada Infusion de Iris which I bought for my wife. It doesn't have nuts like GG Prive, to stand out. Nor does it need to. Narciso Rodriguez for Him Bleu Noir Parfum only excels in being attractive. It is sophisticated civilized. It enjoys more being on you, than to fill a room. And it lingers. I wouldn't be surprised if this one would be just as addictive to women, as it is to me. I only bought it less than 2 months ago, so I'm not sure how this will wear during warmer months, but maybe, just maybe, this is as versatile as Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme, which is still my number one, ever since December 2013. Although that one lasts at least 12 hours on me. Will update on the Longevity. It is my 20th Iris based fragrance. For sure it is quite redundant but a rising star. And also quite a steal for 47 €/50 ML.

The addition of iris has brought a new soul to the fragrance, making it more refined and captivating. It's a sure choice for those who want something sophisticated, yet with personality, a perfume that arrives quietly but is difficult to go unnoticed.

If you are an iris lover as I am, then you owe it to yourself to put your nose on this outstanding fragrance. It is so, so smooth, with the woods and iris front-and-center. It has this little whisper of freshness that sets it apart from many of the other iris scents that I know and love. A typical blue, shower-gel freshie this is most certainly not. So glad to have this in my collection. Update: I've come back now that my initial fervor has died down a bit....just a little bit! I am still utterly in love with this fragrance, but I have to come back and comment on performance and longevity. Honestly, it could be better. I get decent projection for a couple of hours, and then it mellows out to more of a skin scent. It's still there and doesn't disappear, but I wish that this projected longer. I'll come back and update if I get a better sense of sillage. I'm not quite sure that this really lives up to the designation of "parfum" in terms of branding/concentration. So, with that in mind, I would lower my mark from a 9.5/10 to a 9/10. Still, I am absolutely in love with this stuff and I can't get enough of the pillowy, powdery heaven that I experience with it. Because of the performance, I spray this pretty aggressively (for me), which is about 4 sprays on my neck (one on each side, front, and back), and then one spray on each wrist, for 6 total. I wouldn't dare spray this much with, say, Bleu de Chanel Parfum, but then again, perhaps I'm a "sissy sprayer," ha! I also would want to share that this shares a tremendous amount in common with Givenchy Gentleman Eau de Parfum. If you are familiar with that scent, this one's powdery structure is strikingly similar, only with the lightest breeze of a citrusy whisper.

Fragrance is a funny old thing, I am often amazed how people interpret something that is objectively the same for everyone one but subjectively completely different. I think this is a wonderful fragrance but it doesn't really smell anything like DHI or VUI (other than being iris focused). I am a huge fan of Iris and I own a great many fragrances that are Iris dominant (still haven't smelled CH Men Pasion though which I'm keen to try). Iris is indeed the main focus of this fragrance but it is much sweeter and softer than in DHI or VUI. For sure the closest cousin of this fragrance in the designer scent world is Prada L'homme edt (although this is quite a bit richer and dense). It also has similarities to Monsieur Beauregard by Penhaligon's and to a lesser extent Givenchy Gentleman Intense (although GGI has a ton of ambroxan thrown in). NRBNP is (to me) soft, dense, sweet, musky and powdery, with suede ever present in the background and is far less masculine than DHI or VUI (or Givenchy Gentleman Reserve Prive for that matter). Those are a whole different scent profile to me. If you want something in between this soft unisex iris and the more masculine, earthy DHI, I would direct your attention to Prada L'homme Intense, which is a masterpiece IMO. When I first sprayed this on I nearly sold it straight away as I thought the performance was terrible but I have come to love it and understand that it's one of those lingering, wafty fragrances that gives off an aura rather than projects out. It does last a decent while but others need to get in close to pick it up. It is a beautiful fragrance but don't buy it expecting a DHI or VUI clone. It takes it's own path and I appreciate it for it's uniqueness.

There may be a tendency in this community to quickly associate a single note with a fragrance and then claim everything else with that note smells exactly the same. Fragrance contains pineapple? It smells like Aventus. Fragrance contains iris? It smells like Dior Homme. Fragrance contains oakmoss? Smells like... well, did everyone in the 70s and 80s think all men’s perfumes smell the same because of the strong oakmoss presence? Enter Bleu Noir Parfum. After testing this one, I personally find it a bit reductive to compare it directly to DHI or Valentino. Yes, this contains iris as to the other two, but I get much more than that. The signature NR musk is still the backbone of this fragrance, not iris. Cypress is a fantastic note, one of my favorites, and it is woven nicely into this composition. And the cardamom of the original BN is here, not featured, however, but plays a supporting role. Iris- yes, it’s here, but so are the spicy, woody facets, perched beautifully atop a musky base. None of its Bleu Noir predecessors are constructed to be loud, aggressive fragrances, and this is no different. They are understated, classy, and meant to blend in with your skin chemistry like most musk-based scents do. I find this Parfum addition to be quite different from its predecessors, and bring something new to this lineup. Beautiful, understated, elegant. A great composition, when taken as a whole, and not dismissed because of one note. Definitely bottle worthy for me.

initial impression: opens like DHI, exactly same for about 30 Seconds then it get sweeter, i m getting sweet accord. to me it becomes closer to Van cleef 's Ambre imperial - may be it is what this fragrance is inspired by. because it was released many years after the Ambre Imperial. after about 10 minutes, Ambre imperial stays sweeter and thicker this becomes a bit more powdery and the fragrance starts to have different smell all together. it becomes airier , more likable less unisex more masculine.. and the musk kicks in , sweet clean musk ( Narsico style) .. and then somehow the original DNA is making an appearance ( i can feel the cardamom).. after a couple of minutes, the leather really makes an appearance, iris is back but this time lipsticky. tonka beans... now it is back to being 65% similar to Ambre imperial but this is a bit sweeter and may i say less headache inducing... overall 8/10 i have no idea about the projection, sillage and longevity. but i think projection feels weak but since it is not very headache inducing i think i can go about 10-15 sprays. good night out close encounter fragrance and yes if DHI is in your top list, you wouldn't mind using this a couple times each month! but i wont recommend respraying this fragrance midday as it has a lot of facets through the opening mid and base. i have not tried a fragrance in recent years that gives such roller coaster ride within 15 mins.

This is one of the smoothest fragrances I've ever smelled It's like a Dolce Gabbana the one edp made navy blue, same role but different notes It's a powdery woody iris musky creamy and very elegant and addicting smelling fragrance. Imagine Dior homme intense made more accessible and fresher with the musky tones. Or a Valentino uomo intense with less of sweetness. It's not listed in the note breakdown but I do pick up some chocolate undertones that Givenchy gentleman reserve boisee got. It also got some soft spices from the cardamon and tonka, really classy smelling. As a parfum concentration, its performance isn't really incredible. Around 6-7hrs of longevity (still good) with soft to moderate projection. About versatility this works for spring-fall/autumn/winter, you could even pull this off during summer date nights or events. It's actually pretty versatile for such scent profile The bottle looks standard but man, that navy pastel blue colour is has makes it look very premium, the cap is a different style and the atomizer is good. Narciso Rodriguez Bleu Noir parfum: elegant, very smooth, powdery woody musky scent, classy reserved and sexy and somehow a different twist from other mature iris scents. 9.25/10, such a great release

I'm not sure how similar this is to Valentino Uomo Intense, because I don't have that cologne. However, I can say Narciso Rodriguez Bleu Noir Parfum is among my wife's favorites. She loves it. I get compliments from others as well. It's a great scent and a safe buy. I consider it to be a solid office cologne or a casual evening out with friends type cologne. I think women will love it more than men, but the group around you will appreciate it. I don't get great longevity out of it, 4 to 5 hours max. It sits close to your skin, which is a good thing when you are around people. It's pleasant to their nose, without burning it. No one wants to be overwhelmed by your cologne while sitting next to you watching a movie or trying to get work done. UPDATE: This has been a regular for me. But performance is poor. Maybe 3.5-4hrs max. That is disappointing. I have to reapply after lunch if I wear it for work. Otherwise, I mostly wear it in the evenings for dates/events. UPDATE 2: This has been an amazing Summer Scent. It feels like it lasts a bit longer in the heat (might be my imagination). This is now a once/twice-a-week summer cologne

I had a bad experience with a powdery fragrance before (Versace The Dreamer). It felt like an old lady's perfume, extremely cloying and revolting for me. I smelled this in store, without knowing any of the notes, I just went to the counter to try all of the Bleu Noir line, since it's very overlooked. This was definitely the standout for me when I tried them on skin, the powder here is different, more modern, classy, sophisticated. I would also say this feels like a cozy fragrance, something to wear at home under a blanket, watching a movie and drinking coffee. Which doesn't mean it can't be worn in other settings, on the contrary: it works for the office, nights out, dates and also during the daytime. It has quickly become one of my favorites. My main negative about this fragrance is definitely longevity and projection, you might want to go for the 100ml bottle (for the small difference in price at discounters, it's definitely worth it) and maybe keep a travel spray in your bag to reapply halfway through the day.

I absolutely adore this one and much prefer it over DHI actually, which I have to be in the mood for. On my skin, Bleu Noir Parfum behaves in three distinct stages (definitely not linear). Upon application I’m first greeted with a blast of orris in the forefront in all its earthy, waxy slightly sweet glory. Relatively quickly the orris dies down to give way to some smooth suede & leather accords, although it’s still there just not center stage as it was earlier. After around 20-30 mins it settles into my favorite part of the composition which I can only describe as an amazingly sweet, warm, slightly powdery/dusty tonka, musk, suede, & sandalwood combo. Idk what it is about this dry down but it’s incredible in my opinion, and I think I’ve come to realize that I appreciate & adore a really well done musk note with plenty of coumarin. The same idea as in Prada Luna Rossa Black’s sweet musky dry down, minus the angelica. Quality designer at an awesome price point, definitely back up bottle worthy for me.

I did a risky blind buy because I got this one sale and I am glad I did. The first time I wore this I found it to be cloying. The second time I got addicted. I am still addicted to it. The scent is absolutely beautiful. From the citrus and iris opening through the smooth powdery leather dry down. I cannot get enough of this stuff. I probably have used it a bit too much though because it seems like it's performance has gotten worse for me. I could be my nose going blind though. It isn't a beast fragrance, but I remember the projection was okay. Now it seems like it sits closer to my skin, it dries down quicker, and I am losing some of that whiff. Still like a crack addict I spray more just for that Iris high. Beautiful scent, moderate performer. A versatile fall/winter scent - I dare not even box this into just that though. I think it is easy enough to wear any day any time so long as it's not crazy hot. I wouldn't say it's blind buy safe, try before you buy you just might get addicted too!

Narciso Rodriguez for Him Bleu Noir Parfum – A Surprisingly Unique Take on the “Blue” Scent! I’ve never really been into blue fragrances, they usually all smell a bit samey and safe to me. But Bleu Noir Parfum completely changed my mind. This one’s different. It’s got that signature Narciso Rodriguez musk that makes it instantly recognisable, but the cardamom and iris give it a whole other vibe. Right from the first spray, there’s this soft, powdery quality that feels super elegant but not overly formal. The iris adds a lovely, almost creamy texture, and the cardamom keeps things warm and a bit spicy, the perfect balance. Honestly, it leans quite gender-neutral, which I love. It’s not your typical masculine cologne at all. For the price, the quality is brilliant. It has great presence without shouting, and the longevity is solid, lasts hours on me. If you’re bored of the usual blue scents and want something more refined but still easy to wear, this is 100% worth checking out.

I love the EdT, one of the most original and (on my skin) pretty well 5-8 hrs even on hot weather. The Parfum is... well rounded, no harshness, very very well blended and sophisticated. If you want to feel the full and sophisticated perfumery behind it, please please wear this in the evenings or colder weather... IT will SHINE. I gave it many wearings during day and warmer weather, it never managed to impress me.. my mistake. Few sprays of this in the evenings and I had so many compliments and dudes asking what is it... which is rare these days. It is an easy 9/10 I just wish it projected more, but this is the magic of NRs... they are discreet but extremely pleasant and well done. I will repurchase. NR please do not shut this one off or give us a new line, like "For Him" was... a 10/10 Edit: This is one underrated gem. Wear it after 7-8 PM and feel... a 10/10 frag.

After being out of the game for more than 20 years, I picked up a bottle of The One Intense and immediately decided that I am in love with powdery notes. I learned how to navigate this website and saw this was similar to TOI so I found a 200ml high partial for $50 so I pulled the trigger. This is a fantastic fragrance! I liked it a little more when I first got it, but now that I am 6 months in and have amassed around 400 frags, I don't love it anymore. Its a little sweet, but its still excellent. The performance is amazing with 4 sprays. I got 7 hours performance out if it. It didnt project far, but I was in a scent bubble the entirety of the 7 hours so you cant ask for much more than that. The cardamom is nicely balanced with the powdery iris and musk. Later on, the woods start to blend it. I dig it, but I dont see myself needing much of this 200ml. 8.5/10

I really like this one. I have Prada Lhomme and its great. I tried Dior HI and its ok for me also Valention uomo intense is ok but I prefer Prada And Narciso over both of them. DHI is too lipsticky for me... Hard to find time to wear it. VUI is too sweet for me and too nutty. Prada is super clean and I like it very much for that but performance is so so unfortunately. Narciso BNFHP is right in the middle of them all and performance is really great. Powdery and woody. Not too sweet and not to lipsticky. Still gives that smooth and clean vibe as Prada does but with an statement that is bigger than Prada. Great find and im glad I blindly purchased it. Be aware... really powdery so not for those who dont like powderness. Develops into this leather, powdery, musky iris thats like second skins as many have pointed out. 10/10 as I write this.

This is a truly classy fragrance. Everything simply smells premium. Sprayed this on yesterday around noon, can still smell parts of it on skin 24 hours later. I've never tried DHI, but if this is what it resembles, I can see why there is so much love for it. As of projection, its decent, but still retains that intimate quality that the rest of the line has. Personally, smells a little too mature for me just now, maybe I'll pick it up in a couple of years. As of right now, I most definitely prefer the EDP, which is a completely different scent. Smelling the two side-by-side, theres hints of similar slightly sweet musky quality, but for the most part, completely different. I'll stick to loving the EDP for now. However, if you're looking for a slightly cheaper DHI-esque fragrance that smells fantastic, this is most definitely a pickup.

I remember reading about this fragrance that is 92% (or so) natural ingredients. But no one is telling you that this includes the alcohol and the added water in it. So how much of the actual oil content could be natural? They have removed it from the description now. I hate the way they're trying first to trick our noses with cheap synthetics and then claiming that XX% of the juice are naturals. Go in hell, greedy bastards.... I will most likely stop buying crazy expensive designer or niche perfumes and will try to dig for better stuff out there. A frag that costs £8 selling it for £80 and so on. I know lots of work and investment is behind but come on. And then eventually will reformulate it and make it weaker, because they just released an Eau de perfume version. Yeah! I am talking to you, Versace Eros! 😄😂

This is my firsrt NRBN and I love it. I get a glimpse of the citrus here and it goes away so quickly. If we are talking about "powdery", I would say Prada Luna Rossa Black is more powdery. I get I-R-I-S most definitely but not as much as DHI...which also means not as lipsticky. This is definitely a dressier fragrance but you should be able to pull this off during the day. I really don't pay attention to the weather when I choose my fragrance. I like how fragrances change from cold to warm weather so I like to experience them year round. I spray this one to wear to bed sometimes and I like to it lingers on my pillows and sheets. I would say this is for the older crowd of 30+ and I wear this to sit at a lounge or nice hotel bar. Such a creamy, buttery, musky, woody iris with an uplifting zesty vibe from the cardamon and citrus. Opens bright, dries down powdery, and holds the iris waxiness throughout the journey. It's versatile, all-weather, any time of the day, daily wear scent that makes you feel clean, fresh, and very chin-up. Brownie points for the price at which you can get this vs. all its comparison frags. It'll make you smell good without burning a hole in your pocket. The only con is the longevity and projection. While it's not horrible, it's not great either. Projects for maybe 1-2 hours and then sits close to your skin as a nice scent bubble. Lasts about 6 hours (enough to notice it), but lingers ever so slightly for a couple of hours longer. Irrespective, what a gorgeous scent profile!!! 10/10 would recommend.

NR Bleu Noir Parfum is one of those fragrances that doesn’t get the recognition it deserves. While it has a certain versatility where you could wear it casually and in the office, but still depending on the climate of where you're from, it truly shines in formal and special occasions. There’s an understated elegance here, the kind that doesn’t scream for attention. The iris, musk, and leather combination feels refined and smooth, making this scent perfect for a man who values subtle sophistication over loud statements. The performance and sillage is alright, not beastmode, but at the same time not terrible, which would make sense seeing how this fragrance present itself. Overall, this fragrance is a good choice. Not for everybody, but is for somebody for sure.

This fragrance has an ethereal presence in the air that will make people swoon. It feels smoother than Valentino Uomo Intense. That fragrance leans sweeter, while this one stays more refined and restrained. It also places musk at the center more clearly than Dior Homme Intense. Refined and delicate, it can even be worn beautifully by confident women. I love how clean and elegant it feels. There is a softness that wraps around you. The musk glows quietly in the background, giving it a sense of intimacy. In the right moment it feels almost weightless. It carries a calm kind of elegance that lingers long after you leave the room, truly one of the standouts from this house.

Very well balanced, smooth and elegant. This is a high quality fragrance with a large share of natural ingredients. It stays sweet, woody, musky and powdery throughout the day, but not in an obtrusive way, it keeps some sensual freshness. The longevity is not record-breaking, but decent. The moderate sillage goes well with the elegant, classy nature of the scent. Noticeable, confident, but with subtlety. That being said, it could be a little bit more. But overall, still a very good performance. This is not a niche perfume, but it stands out through its above average quality in its price segment. You can do a lot worse for the money! #1488 in my "Tour de Fragrance" I got this as a decant, even though it's priced reasonably, as I 've had several people criticize the potency of Rodriguez scents. We all know our skin reactivity differs, but this holds up just fine for me, and I'm ordering a full bottle. I love all the notes here, especially the iris and leather. It's a nice masculine scent that I think is wearable for any environment or use. Not wildly different from Valentino Uomo Intense (this is a little more leathery) or Dior Homme Intense (this is less powdery than the Dior), but different enough to be worth owning and I prefer it to the Dior and Valentino. Priced right too at $65, so I'm in.

Out of all of the big name Iris frags, It definitely has that valenino uomo intense vibe, but it's a lot less sweet which is a huge win to me. It could also be said that it's something of an inbetween of Prada Lhomme and Lhomme Intense, there is no soap, but it has this ultra refined classy smell that is really the best of all the main line iris entries in my opinion. The only weakness is it's performance - it's not a heavy projector nor is it going to be lasting too long, but youll have it be lingering for around 4-6 hours at least. if this was better performing, it'd easy be the #1 iris frag and even without it, it is definitely top tier.

Just dropped my review of this on my Youtube "Rotten Rebel".. This to me is something powdery, woody and musky with a bit of leather in the background.. It's not 100% linear but the opening (at least to my nose) goes by so quickly and it turns into a powdery blend pretty much straight away. This gives me a bit of Valentino Uomo Intense vibes and that is a fragrance I like a lot.. So.. I like it a lot. And I think people who like VUI, DHI or Givenchy reserve privee might enjoy this one as well. Do not get this if you do not enjoy powdery fragrances! :) Take care, stay safe.

I feel like this fragrance is a masterpiece. Its almost like BDC crossed with Prada black. Bleu and fresh enough to wear on all but the hottest days, but clean, fresh, powdery and musky enough to make it different from the blue aquatics style of fragrances. I wouldn't wear this one to the beach - but I rocked it in Thailand during the day and out at night to restaurants, markets ect . dressed up and down. I think it's perfect for virtually all occasions and definitely office friendly/ intimate - date night worthy. Strangely underrated in my opinion.

Smooth easy signature iris fragrance. I do enjoy my iris scents, and to be honest, disliked the EDP from this NR line very much. Still, after hearing so much about the parfum, decided to pull the trigger - no regrets. Super easy to wear, more on the mature side, quite masculine, and NOT blue. Performance is all right for now, since I have my bottle for about a month. Love the packaging tbh, and paying ~$58 for my 100ml, could not be happier with the buy. Edit: EXTREMELY redundant with the new version of Valentino Uomo EDT

Highly redundant if you already own Dior Homme Intense, Prada L’Homme Intense, or similar iris heavy scents. I picked up the Parfum out of curiosity since I already own the EDP, but the EDP still feels more unique; lighter, more versatile, and surprisingly warm weather friendly. The Parfum pushes a thicker, denser iris that cuts down the versatility. Living in a tropical climate, and having bought this in peak summer without realizing its profile, this will likely wait for cooler months before it enters my rotation.

Dior Homme with less intensity & no lipstick note, Valentino Uomo Intense but softer with less gourmand & Prada L'Homme with added sweetness & much less intense powdery notes. Combine the modified versions of these 3 classics & you get this. Delicate, well blended, soft & elegant iris/musk. I’m sensitive to Tonka Bean & it’s not very prominent here (despite what votes say). Soft wood & just a hint of the other notes (tonka, cypress, suede, cardamom). My only issue is with the sillage & in particular the longevity.

Holy smokes. This is love. Can’t detect the bergamot or mandarin orange. Perhaps I’ll let it macerate and or give it more wearings to detect some of the listed notes. Just got it today and it is immediately one of my favourite perfumes. Smooth creamy sexy masculine scent with a very subtle iris. Sillage is ok ok I sprayed like 7-8 times and it’s not overpowering at all. Yet to check on longevity. This is the only perfume I have reviewed within minutes of getting it.

SOTD. Green, warm spicy citrus on the top, then dries down into a super smooth iris, musky, leather. Moderate projection with good longevity. Skin scent for around 10 hrs. I discovered NRBN Parfum seeking a replacement for Valentino Uomo Intense. IMO, not a 1 for 1, but definitely not disappointed with the addition to the collection. I appreciate the smooth masculine iris and leather it provides during wear. I anticipate consistent use during fall/winter season.

Hmm... Second day of wearing. Poor longevity and even poorer projection. Lots of people said that this lasts whole day but not on me... So so disappointed so far. In terms of smell... Hands down, absolutely love it. Smells much more expensive, almost nische. 👏👏👏 AN UPDATE. A bit wrong about the longevity and projection. It actually last very long and has moderate projection. Very happy with this one. Like it more than DHI but not more than 💜DH Original or DHP💜

I blind bought this . The initial spray for me was very sweet and powdery , almost too powdery for me . After it settled for a bit I determined that it was a nice smell but not for me . Lucky for me I left it on my hand and about 1.5 hour to 3.5 mark I kept getting this phenomenal waft that was so much different than before. It was actually projecting still a bit closer to 4-5 hours in with only one spray . This stuff is so good . I became a believer .

I have all the fragrances in the "For Him Bleu Noir" line and I enjoy them all and so I don't say this lightly. This is the best of the bunch and one of the best blue fragrances I've ever smelled. The powdery Iris makes for an incredibly smooth musky, with traces of green, fragrance. The price has come down and if you want to smell good, any time, any place, and not like everyone else this is for you. Tip of the hat to Narciso Rodriguez for this one!!

This is like a fresher blue take on Valentino UI. Still got the iris-y makeup notes but made more masculine and versatile, for me. Haven't tried the EDT or EDP but I am happy with the Parfum. Very good juice for the price. Try before you buy because not everyone likes iris in a man's fragrance. I, however, LOVE iris based fragrances. Edit: after 2 days of wearing, the only con for me is longevity and projection. Otherwise, I like this. 8/10

Juice smells great, definitely in the DHI, VUI family but with the Narciso musk in the background. On a side note, when I opened the package the bottle had lost a few ml of juice due to a leak at the collar and I had a tough time getting the cap off. It's my second Narciso and both bottles I've purchased have been faulty in some way. The first one shot out on 'jet' mode rather than 'mist' lol. Is this the norm for this brand?

I like this so much. It’s what I can imagine Dior Homme Intense smelling like if it got another release currently. Like a reimagining. By MFK. Love the soft woody undertones and iris. Not a citrus lover but that’s nice here too. It’s sophisticated and sexy. Does not last all day but I don’t care. Very appealing. It’s similar to some listed in the reminds section but with that gorgeous musky vibe Narciso is known for.

Smooth and sensual. Only Dior's may be better than this. Smelling wise closest to Valentino Intense but that one is much more sweet, which i dont like it. Solid performance. 3th day still can smell it on my shirt. Projection is standard, designers. Stories that this last 2h are Mickey Mouse stories. Do you think that some brand (in this case designer) would make scent that last 2h. You are getting nose-blind.

When I bought this 2 years ago, I didn’t really like it. But it has aged so well compared to the EDP. I would never wear this out. It’s a little too loud and young for me, but this is one of my favorite after shower scents for the evening. It’s bright and slightly sweet, fresh and clean. Makes me happy. I’m not a big fan of bleu frags, but this one’s a little different and the powdery iris is beautiful.

This is amazing! I was looking for something that has the powdery-ness of Prada L'homme but with slightly more masculine feel. This hits it! It's not that fresh cashmere and clean laundry scent, but it has that beautiful Iris and powdery feel in the background with a smooth tonka bean and leathery forward. Very versatile for any occasion. This will more than likely be my new signature scent.

One of the smoothest, well-blended fragrances in my collection. Fresh, powdery, and inoffensive. Muted and subtle. Will probably not wear it in the hottest of days. Perfect office fragrance. Will please everyone around you without them knowing you’re wearing a perfume. And will not grab your boss’ attention so she can dump you with more work. A signature scent for the low-key gentleman.

This is an incredible fragrance, very sensual, powdery, floral, and musky. It’s very gentlemanly and can be worn at any time, in any weather. The iris is not lipsticky at all. It’s not a beast mode fragrance, but not everything needs to be. This turns into this incredible second skin musky scent with a hint of wonderful iris. This is one of the perfumes I hope to always own.

omg! im in love with these! I think this is a date perfume. I have both dior homme intense and this, but dior homme intense is just all over the place. This one is reformed, controlled, and firm! It doesnt go too intense or too powdery or chocolaty. It is limit to this smooth powdery almost hint of smoky vibes. I seriously prefer this than DHI. High quality perfume. 7.8/10

Just plain beautiful perfume, smells like Valentino Uomo Intense, powdery and iris are dominant. It has the aromatic vibe similar to YSL La Nuit D L'homme and a very little touch of Akdeniz's green scent. I can smell like a very tiny bit of earthy/grassy scent and it reminds me of Akdeniz Unique'e Luxury. This is a well-rounded perfume, fresh and sexy. Love it!

One of the best designer fragrances out on the market to me. The iris, musk and sandalwood creates a creamy and smooth elegance. Inoffensive, very likeable and a to-go-to scent for the office during the winter. Different from the usual designer route. All this in a classy bottle. Lasts quite a long time - at least 8 hours for me, projects moderate. 9/10

The mandarin opening with the powdery iris makes this very similar to VUI. I am sick so my sense of smell isn't 100% but that is what I'm picking up at this point. I look forward to comparing them head to head and seeing what I like more. VUI is significantly harder to get in my country so this being on the market is definitely a good thing.

I totally agree with eigahoshi. For me it has some similarities with Dior Homme Intense but just in the way Iris is treated. But they do completely different things! DHI is more dark and formal, this has an incredible freshness in the opening (one of the best openings of 2022) and an outstanding smoothness. Is elegant, refined and classy.

Narciso Rodriguez is really under everyone radar, especially this one. It is definitely has a high-quality smell to it, so creamy and very very smooth. A classy perfume, masculine and elegant. Everything is just perfect 9.5/10, sillage 9.5/10, longetivity 9.5/10 and excellent dry down 10/10. Easily a signature worthy scent for me!
