Narciso Rodriguez For Him Eau de Parfum Intense

Thank you to my friend, aramv, for the sample of Narciso Rodriguez for Him EdP Intense. I am truly grateful! Normally, I don't like to compare scents, but formulations of a scent and very close flankers, I believe, are apropos. So, the one different note in this 3-note composition, as compared to the For Him Musc Collection EdP, is the use of Pink Pepper here versus Red Berries in that scent. A more focused, spicy note that opens versus a soft, fruity note - which both segue into the powdery iris in the heart and the magnificent Egyptian Musk as the base of both compositions. I find the pink pepper to be very interesting (a lovely note in the blend and tastefully used), a slightly subtle difference for the opening that transcends accords well into the first hour or so vividly, and even beyond... Comparing the two - the dash of pink pepper offers a bit of sharp, yet earthy/spicy, slightly 'rosy' note that really shows well, but the light warm fruity notes offer something in contrast in the For Him Musc Collection EdP as well. They are virtually, in my opinion, the same construction, but with stark contrast in the opening - which translates to a different 'vibe' of each scent to a degree. No surprise there, but the early accords are more spicy from the pink pepper, a "pepper berry" (not really any sweetness), more "lifted" aromatically, and actually contrasts uniquely against the powdery IRIS (capitalized for a reason, as this is a very forward and beautiful note of iris). Intelligent opening notes in both - and that does alter how the fragrance will connect with you to a degree. I cannot say which I like more, other than each can connect with my mood, uniquely. I have to say that the pink pepper shows very well here - a brilliant note in a minimalist composition that still has gorgeous depth! I am seduced, yet again... After a nice side-by-side wearing, I am leaning towards getting a bottle of the Narciso for Him EdP Intense. While it is not strikingly far apart from the other, the undertones (as mentioned, even an hour or so in), are different. I have them about 3-4 inches apart on my arm. Both are absolutely wonderful! Stunning scents, unto themselves. I can see the point that having one OR the other will still give you Narciso for Him in an Eau de Parfum concentration. However, and this is personal, if you find a great affinity for the scent...the subtle difference is actually even more enticing. If one adored what was already there with warmed, soft red berries - then they cannot help but find a brilliant association for the tasteful use of pink pepper that brings new synergy into this seductive scent. Too much of a good thing is an impossibility. I will leave it up to the individual, but to me it is simple - if you want a spicier, sharper opening...then you found it here. If you want a softer, rounder and more fruity opening, then the For Him Musc Collection EdP would be a preference. However, if you want a little bit of variety in the opening and the accords as each bottle develops...I highly recommend both! This is truly brilliant scent of sheer excellence - sensual, warm and alluring. Beautiful and tasteful. Cheers! **UPDATE** - purchased a full 100ml NIB bottle and it is exquisite. You musc try this perfume. I am not joking. You musc try this scent at least once. Francisco Rodriguez likes musc and preaferably with a good dose of musc sensuality. Master Chef François Kurkdjian cooked it almost to perfection for us to enjoy it. I musc reconize that this fragrance is quite simple, very linear and kind of let me identify only the notes of musc and iris. I do detect a faint sweetness probably due to the red berries 3d note. "For Him" is sexy and manly, a real head turner due to its scent (a good musc does wonders) and uniqueness. I don't have a clue why some reviewers claim it to be rather feminin. A feeling of "what's that" lingers in the air around any For Him wearer. Strange enough is the fact that this scent does remind me a lot of another gem but a complex one, with more than two douzains of different notes. I am speaking about Van Cleef & Arpels Pour Homme helas also a not so well known fragrance but an absolute manly fragrance and an icon of the perfume industry. However, VCA Pour Homme has a faint note of musc, no iris, no red berries and lots od wood, leather, patchouli and different types of grass. I musc say that I do suspect that probably other notes than those that are listed are used in this fragrance. There is a pleasant fougére background and, in my opinion, it doesn't seem possible to be originated in the minimalistic three notes unveiled. Narciso Rodriguez claims this fragrance to be a "fougére musquée boisé". It is really a musc landmark, but other notes are needed for it to be woody and grassy as it seems to be. You also have an above average performance as a bonus. Longevity and sillage are a bit inferior to the "For Him" EDT, but better than other sexy scents like "La Nuit" or "Dylan". We musc look at this fragrance math to better understand it: Scent Opening: 8.5 (my judgement) Scent Dry Down: 8.5 (my judgement) Longevity: 8.5 (8 hours+ with two sprays) Sillage: 7.5 (more than 6 feet at its peak with 2 sprays) Uniqueness: 10.0 (the similarity I claim it to have with VCA Pour Homme, does not count :-) Compliments: 7.0 (not a serious compliment grabber although it's a head turner because it arouses curiosity) Wearability: 9.5 (Use it day or night during all seasons except in hot summer days) Versatility: 8.0 (You may use it in almost any event, although some perfumes are more adequate for specific situations. Avoid using it in Beach, sunny events and workout.) Quality: 9.5 (my judgement) Presentation: 9.0 (elegant, efective and simple) Price: 7.0 (100 ml non tester for 44 Euros + shipping) Overall rating: 8.45/10.00 I musc say that I recommend this fragrance; Musc I say more?

The greatest masculine scent of all time. A masterpiece. I read comments from others saying the exact same thing, and they are entirely right! this is a true masterpiece. How on earth could they discontinue a fragrance like this? Has the entire industry lost its mind? I will never understand the logic behind killing it off. What a devastating shame. Somehow, I managed to score a full 100ml bottle for a decent price. If I could buy 20 more right now, I wouldn't hesitate for a single second. It has everything a man looks for in a cologne: absolute elegance, class, nuclear longevity, and the undeniable power to turn heads. The sillage is massive. I’ve had total strangers literally chase me down the street just to ask what I was wearing and where they could find it. You want to know what I tell them? I look them dead in the eye and say, *I am wearing the tears of the gods. "Where did you get it from?" they ask, completely hooked. "From above," I reply. "From the ethereal skies of the heavens." They usually stare back at me like I’ve completely lost my mind, but that cryptic answer only triggers a deeper obsession. I can see it burning in their eyes—they want it even more. They practically beg for a straight answer. But they are entirely clueless; they have no idea that this bottle is practically a ghost in the modern world. Too bad for them. As for me? I get to live inside this unique, haunting scent for a few more years to come. --- **Update August 2026:** I am now the proud, slightly unhinged owner of three full bottles of this heavenly elixir. I didn't stop there....I hunted down two full bottles of the elusive *Musc Collection* flanker, grabbed two fresh bottles of the EDT, and somehow managed to scoop up a remarkably rare limited-edition *Narciso Rodriguez For Him Pure Reflection*. I’ve basically tracked down every single formulation sharing this godly DNA, right down to every single bottle of *Fragrance World Redriguez* (clone) I could possibly get my hands on. I’m OBSESSED. No! Let’s be honest here, I have officially crossed the line into full-blown fragrance legendary maniac territory. And honestly? I couldn’t possibly be happier about it. :D

The beast with mask. The ball has started, the champagne is flowing in the living room. An ode to lights and shadows. Let the dance begin. The roots of Narciso Rodriguez for him Edp are from the same asphalt of his more notorious brother, instead a few iris flowers grew next to him. It smells more friendly in the opening, more bright but don't worry. Dry down is similar to NRH Edt, which for me is a true work of art. As in the case of NRH Edt, Eau de parfum has only a few notes in the composition but mastery executed . In the opening pops up the pink pepper and iris. The scent acquires a brighter, pleasant note and the iris is far from earthy or powdery. It is very natural, aromatic and waxy. This makes him rounder, very sexy and attractive. It is a different iris than the one from Dior or Valentino because it is not sweet or warm, but delicate. It smells extraordinarily beautiful, creating a cloud of freshness around you, pay attention... without being very fresh. That's because in the dry down shares the same feeling that made his older brother famous. The musk from the base sends you thinking of the same wet asphalt, the same picture of late autumn drowned in endless rains. With all these attributes, the fragrance is elegant, preserves a distinct, unique line and marks its own territory on which no one has stepped so far. A floral musk that you can wear both at festive events, being noticed precisely by its unique factor but also when you want to feel special no matter when and where you are. It's quite versatile. I see it worn in spring, autumn and winter, but autumn is the season that belongs this fragrance. Longevity on the skin is above average, same sillage or projection. NRH Eau de parfum wears a beautiful mask at a ball but the soul remains a gothic one. Don't forget the roots, he hide them in the hope that someone will fall into the trap.

Narciso, Narciso Just wow...This house would be one of my top 3 favorite designer houses if they didn't just have 4 mens fragrances- 2 of which smell almost Identical. I've grown to LOVE everything I've smelled from Narciso with the lone exception being their newest release which I haven't smelled. I don't just like but ABSOLUTELY LOVE what this house puts its name behind. For Him Intense is the more formal version of For him that smells very unisex to my nose. It may be the perfect suit and tie frag for the well dressed metrosexual. But personally I wear this with more relaxed clothing and it works perfectly for me for casual occasions and nights in the house with the significant other. Like the original its very versatile and can be worn all year (summer nights tho to be safe...lol). Lasts about 7 hours and the performance is adequate being a more formal scent. Just don't over spray. This scent wasn't meant to act like Joop. If I could find one fault with this house's frags it would be that the notes are synthetic but when you smell this along with others from the house you find yourself thinking or saying "Synthetic...SCHMEMTHETIC". Niche brands have to abide by the IFRA also so synthetic notes aren't exclusive to designers anymore. The beauty in this and other scents from Narciso is the quality blending of these synthetic notes which makes them a worthy choice for any frag snob. simply put...this scent is a beautiful classy close to the skin Fragrance. People will smell you but won't be overwhelmed by you. 8/10- would be perfect to me if it were slightly more potent...For an Eau de Parfum it's very tame. What a perfect scent for me right now... it’s late, I just showered and didn’t want something too heavy or too sweet or too citrusy.... my Goldilocks. This is just a super high quality Musk and on the right person, very attractive and sexy, and quite alluring. The reason I say on the right person is because fragrance is personal, it should enhance your aura and fit your personality and I can see this not working for some, especially if your new to fragrance. This is certainly not a club banger or a playful sweet date night fragrance trending in style... this is almost art and to some may have them scratching their heads. This can stir up emotions and be as delicate or complex as you make it. It’s certainly not an offensive fragrance, in fact it’s quite easy to wear and clean, and there is a freshness to it... Hence the reason I chose this to wear out of the shower tonight! Although there are florals here I don’t find them to be feminine in the slightest, I find this to be quite masculine as I couldn’t imagine a female wearing this, unless it was rubbed off on her. If you like Musc Ravaguer, Another 13, Roja Danger, Grey Vetiver, Green Irish Tweed, La Nuit De L’homme, Prada Black, you may like this. However, there is a certain “character” about this, I can imagine if you like darker Rose based scents like Toy Boy or Or Encens, even something like Encre Noir, not that these smell anything alike, but they’re anything but generic and have an almost gothic character about them where you might have to be in the mood to wear em. I suppose that’s with any fragrance however these aren’t easy reach like your BDC’s. There’s just something about this that is so... perhaps it’s the musk that really gives this a vintage/timeless classic vibe. I love it. Any season, really.

Just like "Narciso Rodriguez For Him EDT" the "EDP Intense" is a Floral Musk fragrance. ... but unlike the "EDT" which was centered around the note of Violet & clean White Musk's, the "EDP Intense" is centered around a note of Iris & full on indolic White Musk's. To give an idea of what this smells like, it smells like an androgynous version of Gucci's "Gucci Bloom". ... but within the "EDP Intense" there's a note of Ebony Wood that adds a dark woodiness, along with a note of Haitian Vetiver adding a dark green smokiness, which totally blurs the lines between masculine & feminine. The dry powderiness of the Iris stills the scent of this fragrance in the air like impending doom. One word to describe this scent... Gothic. It smells like the Musk's left behind by decayed flowers in a haunted Castle. It invokes feelings of darkness & dread, & makes me think of the color Charcoal Gray. I would expect Nosferatu to smell like this..... Narciso Rodriguez's "For Him EDP Intense" is absolutely beautiful, but avantgarde, so one would need to be a lover of Floral Musk's in order to not feel uncomfortable wearing it. In order to wear this fragrance & not look like you smell out of place it requires a strict dress code. Narciso Rodriguez's "For Him EDP Intense" can be worn year round, but not on hot & humid Summer days & nights. It smells its best on overcast days & evenings either Spring or Summer when its slightly cool, & or at night. ..... or, in Fall or Winter, either day or night. A woman can wear this fragrance, but if I were going out with her I would wear this myself, & pair her with Gucci's "Gucci Bloom".

Narciso Rodriguez for Him Eau de Parfum (EDP) is a floral, spicy, aromatic, and musky fragrance. The opening is slightly floral and musky; the musk has a slightly dirty quality in this phase, but it softens over time. A slightly metallic, herbal accord is also present, where the label lists iris, but I believe it also contains other floral notes, something between violet, lavender, and geranium, along with a semi-sweet herbal accord of coumarin and pink peppercorn spices, and something similar to anise, which gives it a fougère-like feel. At times, it even evoked an olfactory illusion similar to Rive Gauche. It's interesting how this fragrance has a relatively dirty opening and then evolves into something with a clean feel. This fragrance is ideal for a professional setting, such as an office or corporate environment, but it can also be enjoyed personally, on outings with friends or a partner, due to the sense of cleanliness it conveys. I like to use it in spring and autumn, and even in winter. As for longevity, it lasts over 10 hours on me, with a noticeable sillage for the first 2 hours, and then it settles within a one-meter radius around me. Narciso Rodriguez for Him EDP is a unisex fragrance with a more masculine feel. I love this fragrance; when I bought it, I never imagined it would be discontinued, so I feel privileged to have it. Although I know that once I finish it, it will be nearly impossible to find again, I will truly enjoy wearing it.

Gorgeous, maculine scent with just enough feminity to make it Fabulous✨ I'd describe all Narcisos as very fabulous scents actually, they retain that gorgeous musky DNA, wheter male or female versions, that keeps them similar and I find all of the ones I've tried somewhat unisex, specially on skin; please try them on skin!!! the musk changes a lot from person to person ❤️ The EDT has a particular petrichor vibe that's like crack to me lol, but this is magical💫 in its own way, this one comes across mature but not in an "older man" way, more like a "dressed up person" kinda way, if that makes sense lol. This is more creamy; the Iris is prominent and the pink pepper gives it a kick where the EDT has a delicious pungency through the patchouli. as expected the muskyness is just perfect if you're into this sort of musk; animalic, somewhat sweaty and very sexy. Narciso's scents always give me a "nude skin" vibe on drydown. I bought this after trying in store because I can no longer find the EDT 😭😭😭 and since this is also discontinued I knew it was now or never as it was the last bottle I could find anywhere, if you can test it do it!!! You gotta smell these scents at least once in your life, there's nothing quite like Narcisos in terms of quality vs price.

Dear Awesome community, First in first, the house of Narcisso Rodriguez is one of my favorite designer perfume houses. I think their fragrance is not made for everyone, it's for those who search for a smooth fragrance with character. in this release, the musk is the star and after testing diferent NR fragrances (for him & even for her), Narcisso Rodriguez has reached a great use of musk and we can note the uniqueness of the Musk note of NR. This one has a classy unique and smooth Musk (for some maybe it's lean on the feminine side, but for me, I think it's great). The performance is great and it's can be worn at work, at night, and all the season(except in hot weather I guess) and just the smelling makes you imagine a gentleman with a smoking confident of his masculinity and a great seductive. Well if you search for a different classy fragrance : this one is for you. Is it worth it: absolute YES!!! The scent: Great, lean on the niche fragrance side!! Performance: very good!! Unisex: Maybe for those who are confident. So as an advise, if you still have the opportunity to buy, just go for it but prepare yourself for a different classy vibe. I recently picked up bottles of Narciso For Him EDT, and Narciso for Him EDP. I have worn this fragrance a few times and still need more time to give more feedback on this scent, but thought I would post some initial impressions on this scent. Adjectives to describe Narciso for Him, EDP: Clean, simple, dark, smooth, mysterious, sexy, classy, modern and different. Unlike more common fragrances, where I can give a fragrance a 'thumbs up' or 'thumbs down' on a fragrance within a minute, this scent is very different. In many ways, it is clean and fresh...and yet it also has this dark and mysterious vibe to it, in the same vain that I view Narciso for Him, EDT. It doesn't smell like the EDT version to my nose, and clearly the notes are different, yet it has a similar vibe despite the fact that I find it softer and smoother that the EDT. Do I like it so far? Yes. Having said that, I need more time with this scent. As simple as it is...it's a different kind of scent.

This is a solid release from the designer house of Narciso Rodriguez. They don't have many fragrances marketed towards men but the few they have are excellent; even though I believe most of their releases are unisex. For Him EDP is a very sensual fragrance with only three listed notes; Pink pepper, Iris, and Musk. This is nothing short of absolute, genuine genius concoction; so smooth, soothing and perfect, a work of art. The use of iris made the musk buttery and creamy, and the pink pepper just adds some very slight spiciness; this just takes me there, just a place of tranquility and serenity; Nirvana. Even if you don't like the notes, it doesn't mean the blend won't appeal to you. This is a 180 degrees departure from the original for him although the musk still connects them slightly. This is a top designer fragrance good in cool weather but to me better in the heat. 6 hour longevity with decent projection is all I need from this beauty. Excellent!

This stuff is fantastic. It definitely has an aldehyde thing about it. Deep florals, musk, and I would say there is a resemblance to the EdT. I see a lot of people saying this is completely different. It *is* significantly different, but it does have that earthy, fern-forest type of a feel that the EdT has. I do see what people mean when they say it smells like an older woman, and that's because of that whole aldehyde thing that's used in things like Chanel No. 5, but For Him EdP is very dirty and masculine, and not really very feminine leaning. I know it's well and truly discontinued, but if you do manage to get your hands on this, or at least smell a sample, do try it. This is definitely not a safe blind buy, absolutely not. This is a very particular scent. If you didn't like the EdT (still easy to get), then you 100% will not like this. If you love the EdT and aldehydes as a note, then I think you'll be pleased.

This is my most cherished fragrance in my collection. Very musky of course, but the musk is supported by florals that give it such an incredible lift and take it to the next level. Perfectly unisex IMO, not clean and not dirty, but very strong. The classic narciso musk is there but with something more... I dont get the vintage vibe some people are mentioning but I also just never got the exposure to those fragrances so I dont really have any association. I CAN tell you that when I first sprayed this I literally laughed with delight and then had to lie down. Effervescent from the aldehydes, ethereal, both brilliant white and dark grey (@NeroliNick who said "Like a shining light of CLEAN but while wearing the darkest sunglasses imaginable" is very accurate). Can be dressed up, but I like wearing it with a simple white t shirt the most. A masterpiece indeed.

SHORT: from complete hate to almost love in 6 months. LONG: I blind bought it online based on EDT testing 2 years ago and I thought it would be almost the same. Wrong! I expected something to be uses daily. Wrong! I was hugely dissapointed, my thoughts were: "try this if you are a man and want to smell like a woman!" When I lowered my expectations and bought other perfumes for daily use, this started to rise dramatically. It's in the vein of Dior Homme Intense or Givenchy Gentleman Reserve Privee, same type of using. I use it on sundays at church and I'm amazed by how well it smells. Surely my nose evolved and perfume also macerated in the meantime. In these situations you have to smell many perfumes in order to understand how nice and unique this smells. I never received a compliment on this but I always feel good on this.

Blind bought this 6 months ago. Wasn't really impressed at first. It was just "okay" but gave a like mark here. Boy was I dumb. I have a tendency to love more strong spicy/sweet/leathery perfumes. But in the past couple of months I've been exploring much more. I'm searching for a spring & summer fragrance and didn't seem to find any that i love. Today I wore this. Glad I blind bought it. After the journey I realize how the musk in Narciso's line is unique, and simply lovely. The pyramid is pretty straightforward; musk, iris, pinkpepper. But I think there's a note missing. Tea leaves. I get fresh tea leaves notes hiding deep in the background. The kind of smell in the air of a tea field. Combined with musk and iris makes this a perfect spring fragrance masterpiece IMO. Scent: 8.5/10 Sillage: 8/10 Longevity: 8/10

When my frag obsession started back in 2013, I made a lot of impulsive blind buy purchases, including the NR for Him EDP Intense. It was love at first sniff. What's NOT to love about it? It was quite affordable back then as well and I knew I never wanted to be without a bottle, so I grabbed seven of them, as I did with about a dozen other can't-live-without frags. Thank God I was an impulsive purchaser back then. I don't see a bottle of the NR anywhere now except the occasional 50ml for close to $200, which is 4x what I paid for the 100ml bottles I've got. A lesson I quickly learned: Eventually everything will either get reformulated or discontinued, so if you can't live without a particular frag, grab a few backups of it now before it's all gone or you WILL regret it.

I blind bought this cause I've been trying to wear men's fragrances lately. This got my interest because I love the Narciso fragrances I have for women and it only cost about 41 USD, learning it was discontinued - I got it. First impressions without spraying was that it had this earthy smell, I wasn't too keen in the first sprays. But then I tried it again the following day and the opening has a similar smell to the Narciso Rodriguez for her EDT, a light floral. I'd say it leans unisex because of the opening it has. As I get whiffs of it during the day, it's such a cool scent, it smells clean to me and I love it!! Everytime I spray this around someone, they always ask what I'm using - it's definitely unique!

Both this scent and the Musk for Him are astonishingly beautiful fragrances that I love "almost" equally. It comes down to red berries in the Musk version vs pink pepper in the EDP Intense and I slightly prefer one over the other. In all honesty though, this is nitpicking - they are very similar and very, very good. These are the kind of fragrances I truly savor and wear only when I can really appreciate them, which sadly seems to be a rarity even in a collection of many highly-regarded bottles. Narciso Rodriguez for Him Musk and EDP Intense are seriously sexy, incredibly gorgeous fragrances created from the simplest compositions. Made for the man who is anything but simple. I love them.

Its scent wraps around you like a warm blanket. It feels thick when it wafts from your chest to your nose, but it also has a thin quality that doesn't offend from afar. On a foggy spring morning it feels uplifting without utilizing any citrus. There is no iris, but it does come off with an iris/orris-like character. Velvety, balmy, floral. It is equal in its powder, musk, and floral aspects. There is no pepper present. This has a wet cement-like quality similar to the EDT, but is far from similar overall. The musk is comparable to kiehls original musk except much less animalic and sweet. I could imagine a lotion smelling like this. Women and men can wear this. Genderless and pleasant.

This fragrance is AMAZING! The smell itself stays the same throughout its life on my skin but it is so warm, cozy and surprisingly fresh at the same time. I do get a lot of musk in this but it is somehow refreshing. I love wearing this is winters and I think this is an ideal date scent because of the fact that this gets ridiculous amount of compliments. Might be a bit too strong for some people so my recommendation is try before you buy. (But, please try!) P.S. - One spray is enough for me. I truly can't say this for any other fragrance I own and I am talking about the likes of Le Male & Encre Noire. New Delhi, India, December 2015

Just got it on a blind buy , not what I was expecting at all , has this strong and not so clean musk in the opening and kinda remains the same throughout. Not a clothing fragrance, it needs a skin to develop and I smell nothing but musk and a bit of pepper but the smells varies a lot on different skins. It's a grower , an intriguing scent that I like more and more every time I wear it and totally unisex , too challenging for summer and too light for Winter , perfect for Fall and Spring. It has the same " plaster powder " vibe that I get in JPG Fleur du mâle but without the orange blossom and a lot of musk

To me, this is the best masculine fragrance of all time. It’s a proper badass scent for a proper alpha male: very sexy, impactful, memorable, powerful. As its name says, it is *intense* and not easy to pull off, so weaklings, beware! This beast is very long lasting and doesn’t develop much - it features this gorgeous NR musk front and centre, paired with snuggly warm spices and some unexpected flowers (violet and iris) to create an imposing, commanding aura. Unfortunately it has been discontinued, but I bought several back up bottles for my hubby while it was still available. 10/10

Dear Fragrantica Friends, This a "powerhouse" of a fragrance. The closest thing to a vintage 80's perfume I've smelt in the last few years. I really can't smell much iris or pink pepper. This is a soapy clean white FLORAL fragrance in a base of strong grey musk. I understand this is not for everyone nor for every occasion. However... in the right context ... this can be EXTREMELY sexy. This makes me believe in perfumery again. Just don't think this is anything like the EDT (that one is completely different, although a true masterpiece by Kurkdjian). Try before you buy.

Great floral musk!!! It is a well blended fragrance, it's not a beast mode scent to my nose. It's an intimate, soft, inviting fragrance. The sillage for me is moderate, and that's fine. A perfect date night scent in my opinion. I feel this could be unisex as well. I don't view scents as masculine or feminine, people should wear what they want to. I do believe with a woman's chemistry it might possibly make it sweeter and quite lovely in my opinion. Definitely a masterpiece in my opinion, but please sample before you purchase. It may not be everyones cup of tea.

This was an unexpected surprise. My first contact with For Him was at a Department store where while browsing through fragrances the girl helping me suggested Narciso Rodriguez, she sprayed the EDT version and I fell in love with the scent. I couldn't get it out of my head for a couple of weeks so while xmas shopping I found the EDP and bought it blindly and have no regrets. Narciso's For Him is nice change of pace from all those vanilla and tonka bean heavy fragrances flooding the industry so having it in your collection is a welcome contrast. 10 in Uniquenes

Exact opposite of the original. The original was dark and moody. The edp is clean and elegant. When you first spray it you get a blast of that pink pepper which is kind of a rose note. Then it dies down after about an hour and you are left with a lovely white musk and iris combo which is very inviting. I think you can wear this all year around. I'm interested in how this is gonna work in the winter, it'll probably smell a tad bit different.

Aramv is incorrect. I have compared this side by side with the Musc Collection, and they are different. They are different scents composed of different notes, and while they are definitely similar, they don't perform similarly on the skin. The best comparison I can come up with is this: Narciso Rodriguez For Him EDP is to Musc Collection as Dior Homme Intense is to Dior Homme. Similar scents, but one is thicker, richer, and longer lasting.

Blind bought it, and at first sniff found it 99% simillar to Paco Rabanne Pour Homme, that I already own, so I was a bit disappointed. "But, oh, that 1%" made it magnificent through the day, since it developed on my skin into something wonderful that I couldn't stop enjoying it and repeatedly smelling my wrist at any given opportunity. This is a gentle, manly, and above all - gentlemanly scent. 10/10, without doubt.

I just got this gem yesterday, when i first sprayed it i thought "uh oh, now i smell like my mom" (L'air du temps by nina ricci) but as it settled down it got to where i like it... i think this is unisex and can be worn by women too, its got a very nice powdery floral musk. I like narciso a lot, cant really go wrong with this one, but its very spicey and floral at the beginning so it might not be for everyone...

The scent of purity. Very transparent, smooth, clean and classy musk. Goes in the same soapy / clean direction of Prada L'Homme but surrounded with creamy musk. The best musk dominant fragrance for th price in my opinion. Extremely safe, non-offensive and pleasant scent with very high quality. No harshness at all. Totally unisex. Longevity is very good.

Absolutely fantastic. It's a masculine floral musk. I really enjoy it alot. The longevity is a bit suspect on my skin, but I don't mind reapplying because I love it so much. I heard it performs better in warmer weather on some. I wear it in Fall and Winter and into Spring. You really can't go wrong with this fragrance. It has a vibe of sophistication.

Beautiful, classy yet casual scent as many of said. Simple, and at the same time seductively mysterious. Women love this stuff. I tend to receive a few compliments each time I wear this. Important note: while I feel this can be worn well in fall, winter or spring, it absolutely shines and works its magic when the weather is at its coldest.

The iris note is one I don't tolerate well, but the iris in this perfume is perfect for me. I have a few perfumes, but nothing smells like this one. Linear perfumes—and what isn't linear these days—make me very tired after a few hours. But this Narcisso Ridriguez is also a linear perfume that doesn't tire me out, and how rare is that.

I am a fan of the NRFH line-up. I have the original NRFH and MUSC and love them both! I've just received my blind purchased bottle of EDP Intense and, just like the others, it does NOT dissappoint! All 3 have the same signature NRFH smooth musk but each can be viewed as individuals in my opinion - and all are the same kind of SEXY!

Never had the original but just got the full bottle of this one. Absolutely love, glad to have it. Opening might be unisex but it gradually developed to the masculine side. Definitely suited with cool weather but it's hard to find such places in my country (Malaysia). But who cares, love it and wear it wherever I feels like it.

What an absolute masterpiece! 😍 The opening has bright yet acceptable pink pepper, with the most luxurious Iris that one can hope to find. All this dancing on the best of musk, which is neither too powdery, nor too sweet. Just perfecting captured in a bottle. Its a shame that this fragrance has got discontinued.

Got this really rare cologne for a really good price. The first time i smelt it was 2 years ago, it instantly reminded me of swimming with flowers in Bali. Smelling it after it arrived and it was just as beautiful as i remembered it. It is just so so so beautiful. 10/10

I absolutely adore this fragrance! Musky, powdery, clean, moody. Can easily transition from office wear to drinks. Clean and dirty at the same time. If anyone is interested, I have two full 100ml tester bottles for sale in original packaging.

aldehydic, earthy, green, rooty, airy, chemical, ink, dry-cleaning, moth balls, intensely floral bordering on cloying, masculine, aggressive, mature, dry, grey, abstract... Unusual, arresting, austere, foreboding, overwhelming, drowning. 4/5

I dont like powedery perfumes, but this one really surprised me. I got it blindly at a very cheap price during some clearance, and it literally shocked me how good it is, its sharpe, soapy and spicy at the same time.

I bought this for my husband last year. I was immediately captivated by this scent. This is by far the best perfume out there. Very sensual, addictive scent. We intend to buy extra bottles just in case ;)

the only musky fragrance that i own (like in proper musky .. took me lot of time to buy this but i couldn't resist buying ! i will use this fragrance for family dinners & high end corporate meetings !

This one is quite interesting darker than the original with same dna, to my nose it smells like hot milk mixed with nuts really like this one, more than kiehls original musk. It's more wearable.

The opening is something of paradisiac, after 30 min it start to smells ( unfortunately) more soapy, losing that beautiful opening...the edt version do not change with time and more strong.

Great fragrance, very long lasting but close to skin. Very well blended, opening is a bit feminine but there waits a perfect drydown. A very safe blind purchase option.

Narciso For Him EDP is a super sensual fragrance. My partner enjoys it on me so much, and I almost only use it on dates when I know that we'd get intimate later.

If Tom Ford released this with a name like "Precious Musk" or "Musc Royal" it would go straight to the Reserve Collection and sell for $500+. Masterpiece.

There’s not much to say about this other than it’s the best fragrance money can buy. I’ll bet John Dutton wears this. Simply my favorite of all time. 9/10
