Pure Musc For Her

With the launch of Pure Musk For Her in 2019, Narciso Rodriguez tapped into the clean girl aesthetic that was massively popular with the release of Glossier’s You a few years back. But unlike Glossier’s You (yes, I have purchased this year a travel size of it and I can’t understand the hype), Pure Musk For Her has good presence on skin and some sillage! It’s not like one is a dupe of the other, they’re not, they’re different fragrances, but they definitely live in the same clean girl aesthetic universe... Pure Musk is a clean, soft, ultra feminine, white musk with strong white flowers: jasmine and orange blossom, soft, enveloping cashmeran plus a tropical accent from ylang ylang which I adore. It’s the type of fragrance that generational wealthy girls would wear with eye watering expensive white, chunky cashmere sweaters during a sky trip to the Italian Alps while sipping on a cup of tea in a luxurious hotel. I have a big bottle of this and I would like to compare with Musk K, another gorgeous musk fragrance created by Sonia Constant, this time for her own brand. I know I have tested it during a trip to Taormina a few seasons ago and I was instantly in love with it, but I am curious to see side by side how these two compare... Until then, I would recommend Pure Musk For Her to anyone interested in fresh/floral, clean, musky perfumes over fragrances like Glossier’s You, Missing Person, most of Escentric Molecules or the super hyped currently L’Eau Papier. Value for money and longevity, Narciso is the best IMO!!

Straight into my TOP 5 The first time i tried this scent was in my auntie’s house She told me that pure musc was her Signature scent for the past 4 years and she also sprayed it on my wrist I was like... ok its not bad but too peppery and sharp I wasn’t interested about it in any way it also reminded me of rare pearls avon sharpness that i dislike After like 8 months i had to fly to dubai There in the duty free i saw pure musc tester bottle It was almost empty only spits I tried to spritz it on the paper strip and oh my gosh what the freak is that A N G E L I C just A. N. G. E. L. I. C I couldn’t stand it and bought it immediately I swear this thing projects unbelievably my sis borrowed it from me yesterday and when i was in kitchen i smelled it and i was shocked My sis was literally inside her room closing the door how the freak i was able to smell it from the kitchen she didn’t come out for hours And also my bff told me he was able to smell my fragrance down the stairs when i was sitting in the class on the second floor keep in mind i was down the 1st floor 15min before my bff arrived Beast projection for a musky floral scent and that’s what makes any musky floral scent a must for me especially cus im a musky floral person This and 212 NYC are the best musky floral scents i have ever gotten my nose on they will always hold a special place in my collection 10/10

So, I used to be someone who steered clear of clean florals or freshies or any blue aquatic sorts or pure citruses. I found them all boring and dull and stayed mostly with spicy woody sweet gourmand and heady floral types. But then, I tried this perfume and suddenly, I craved for fresh, effervescent, uplifting perfumes that looked and felt like bright clean summer days, that even when the sun shines, a cool breeze blows, gorgeous white florals grow nearby and all is well and peaceful in the world. I to this date detest citrus and aquatic scents. I find them revolting. But now, I love clean uplifting fresh floral perfumes or fresh musk perfumes and it’s all thanks to this thing Last like all day on my skin. I can even smell it the next day. Gorgeous silage. Insane longevity. Classic happiness in a bottle. I smell this and instantly feel happppy. This is pure joy in a bottle. Peace and joy and all things good. It’s the equivalent of having spent a couple of months in a monastery, gotten my life together, now being an unbothered queen somewhere in the French Rivera, with a sublime summer dress and being some twenty kilos lighter in body weight lmao. I love this damn thing. Have looked high and low for a dupe and no musk comes close. I’ve tried them all. Will always have a bottle of this in my collection.

This fragrance is everything i didn't know i needed!🖤 Let me start off by saying bravo, Sonia Constent, for composing this marvelous scent. The musk, cashmeran, and florals blend together so well. This is another successful blind buy. After reading the notes and reviews on here, i was sold! I was confident that i would love this fragrance without even trying it. Besides, you can't really go wrong with a musky fragarnce. Especially if you love musk. This fragrance is just one beautiful scent from the opening to the dry down. The projection is one the best I've encountered. Any fragrance that you can still smell on yourself 4+ hours later, just know everyone around you is getting a whiff as well. It's bold, but not in an offensive way. The lasting power is spectacular, as i expected. It lasted 7+ hours on my skin. I read that this was also good to pair with other Narciso perfumes or any other musk based fragrances, so i paired it with one of my favorite, Indi by Katy Perry. It was like putting icing on your favorite cake. The way these two scent intertwined and blended so well together, i fell in love. I am so glad i chanced blind buying this. I am in looooove with this scent. I only got it yesterday but I can absolutely see this being my new go to for the rest of the summer. I bought it after months of considering it because a girl in my sorority wears this and every time she was near me I would tell her that she smelled absolutely amazing. She encouraged me to get it for myself, but I was worried it wouldn’t smell as good on me. So, I was hesitant but oh my god I am obsessed with this. I put it on yesterday midday and I can still smell it. Somehow despite its lasting power and projection, it never smells strong of overpowering. It radiates so well but so softly that you find yourself wondering what that incredible smell is without being able to fully place it. That is my ideal kind of perfume. The musk in this is seriously addictive, like an elevated version of warm clean skin. The florals add a fresh, almost dewy quality to the fragrance. While I can understand why people are placing this as more of a daytime/ clean scent, I actually feel like the musk in here makes it smell very enticing in a way that would be perfect for a date night.

I have loved Narciso Rodriguez since For Her EDT made it on the scene. I went through life with this fragrance. I became an adult and I learned that the nose behind this perfume is Francis Kurkjian which makes sense because I blindly found MFK Baccarat Rouge 540 years later before anyone was into it, only to find out now that I do more research, that they are by the same perfumer. I ignored all these flankers for years. I never even touched the EDP, until yesterday, 20+ years since starting to wear For Her EDT, I am in love with Pure Musc. I am even blind buying the sister, Pure Musc Blanc! Pure Musc, you are incredible. It's slightly floral but has the famous NR Musc that makes this so sexy. I am sad to see that Narciso fragrances are not front and center in the shops in the USA like they used to be. I hope that this can change because these perfumes are divine.

I bought Pure Musc by Narciso Rodriguez right after buying Pure Musc Blanc... that’s how much power Narciso has over me at the moment 😭 This perfume just smells clean. Like white clothes, fresh skin, soft musk, and a tiny bit of sweetness hiding in the background. Nothing loud or complicated, but somehow very addictive. I love wearing it on its own, but honestly? Layering is where this really shines for me. It makes almost everything smell fresher, softer, and more “put together.” I already have the 150 ml bottle on the way because I know I’m going to overspray this without shame lol. There’s something really comforting about it. It just makes me feel clean, pretty, and relaxed. Definitely one of those perfumes I can see myself reaching for all the time.

I really love this fragrance. On me, I smell juicy rose. There’s definitely rose but it’s tart and tangy. Not sure why no one else smells rose🤷🏻♀️ It’s definitely more “universal” than NR for her parfum and NR poudre. Of the 3 NRs, NR for her parfum is my favorite. It’s actually a favorite of ALL my fragrances. However, I happily wear all 3 of the Narcisso’s quite regularly. Which one I reach for just depends on my mood. I don’t choose my daily fragrance according to occasion. I’m not “polite” about fragrances. I wear what i want when i want - probably choking people at times when i wear things like cabochard while running errands. I’m quite polite with my clothing choices, however.....

Good projection. I thought this is something that only I would smell, but when I sprayed this just on my wrists people around me could smell it too. The smell lasted for a whole day too. This perfume is so worth it because of its good performance and it's cheaper than most designer perfumes while still smelling elegant and chic. This is a good blind buy if you're into clean, musky fragrances. This one doesn't necessarily smell like laundry or soap. It's just really fresh and airy. I thought my favorite NR fragrance would always be For Her, since it's the first one I discovered. But this has become a good contender! This one is just less sharp, literally just pure musk and freshness.

Giorno o sera non cambia, sta bene sempre e su tutto, sì mescola alla pelle e diventa caldo, morbido.. Sulle prime si avverte subito il muschio che da una buona base di freschezza.. Poi si scalda, il gelsomino cremoso la fa da padrone e in lontananza i fiori d'arancio che danno un tono più frizzante e ylang ylang che bilancia il mix.. Si chiude quasi impercettibile anche se presentissimo il chasmeran che crea un effetto avvolgente.. Estate o inverno che sia si adatta alla tua pelle e ad ogni stagione.. The opening instantly reminds me of peeling a salak (snake fruit), at least to my Southeast Asian nose. I know that's a pretty specific reference, but it's the first thing that came to mind. After about 15–20 minutes, it transforms into a soft, clean musk that smells effortless, like naturally clean skin instead of freshly washed laundry. I'm a man and I have zero hesitation wearing this. To me, it's completely unisex. It doesn't scream for attention, but somehow it's one of the fragrances I get complimented on the most. There's something really comforting and approachable about it.

Beautiful clean musk! When I first wore this, my husband said “ smells like a clean baby” because I bathed our newborn and he had no idea I sprayed this on my pants. Yes it smells like clean skin with a light laundry undertone but it’s very subtle. As it sits on skin longer, it becomes a bit sweeter with the ylang . It’s quite simple but beautiful, cozy, soft, and just fuzzy. Idk how to describe the fuzzy part, it could be the cashmere and florals but man it’s so pretty and clean. Great for anytime any day

One of the best musks I own — definitely a clean-girl, aesthetic kind of scent. That said, if you’re someone who loves the development of notes and enjoys experiencing how a fragrance pyramid unfolds on your skin, this might not be for you. It’s a simple, linear, and straightforward fragrance. A few hours in, it smells almost exactly the same as it did when you first applied it. Normally, I enjoy watching a fragrance evolve on my skin, but I thoroughly enjoy how beautifully simple this one is.

I LOVE this perfume. At first it smells a bit too powdery and mature but once it dries down you get this beautiful scent that just stays on you all day. I am on my last few sprits of my bottle 😭. My husband always compliments this perfume. I bought a bottle for my mom since she also loves soft and musky scents. Her go to when I was young was Victoria Secret Heavenly. The perfume reminded me of her when I tried it, and she lives in a different country so I got her a bottle as a gift.

This is such a clean scent, suitable for many occasions and seasons. Although for evening occations one might tend to grab something more powerful. This is my all time favourite. Generally I love Narciso Rodriguez fragrances and especially ones created by Sonia Constant but I think this is the one that I’ll always have in my collection. It’s comforting and well tolerated by other people. It actually is quite a compliment getter on me. It’s somehow very simple but so beautiful!

One of my favourite scents. Soooo clean girl coded. So similar in DNA to Tiffany EDP though that one has more prominent citrus notes. The scent makes me think of white sheets fresh from the laundry, fluffy white towels and hotel lobbies... I can see myself wearing this year long day and night. Projection is intimate but the scent itself lasted through a 9 to 5 under hot humid weather conditions. Amazing for layering! Pure musc combined with anything neroli is chefs kiss.

My skin is bringing out a suede note in this, I am thinking it's the cashmeran. It smells like a suede handbag and cosmetic powder and I'm all here for it. I love pure musc blanc more, but I can see this one being an easy reach in my collection! I wore this to work and I got compliments all day. I personally feel that it wears softer than what I'm used to but it has great longevity. The kind of scent that lingers in the air when you walk by (typical of all Narciso's).

Pure Musc For Her is exactly the kind of soft, feminine musk Narciso Rodriguez does so well. Fluffy, powdery, warm, and sensual without smelling soapy or overly clean. It creates a cozy white floral musk cloud around you that feels elegant, comforting, and effortlessly feminine. There’s also a subtle warm yellow-floral vibe that adds softness and depth. Not a loud or groundbreaking fragrance — just a beautiful everyday musk that feels intimate and graceful.

She is simple, looks innocent and hoping no one would even give her a second look. I dare you to touch her or even spray her. Bammm! all of the sudden the innocence is gone and this beautiful powerful goddess is out of her shell begging you to take out with you to dinner. You better take her with you because you will not feel sorry that you did. Great fragrance, my first from this line, it is probably telling me I need to take a closer look at the others.

Omg. This perfume is heavenly. Clean and soft. For me, she’s a stunner. I blind bought the 1.0 oz and I can already tell ima have to get a bigger bottle next time. So, you still get that Narciso Rodriguez For Her dna and then that musk only elevates it. NR For Her has been my signature perfume for years, but this one might actually replace that. You do have to love musk to love this one though because that musk is kickin.’ But wow, she’s gorgeous.

I don't understand all the hate. This is really nice. I had previously tried Musc Noir and that one...that one I didn't like. The floral/musk combo ended up smelling of a funeral home. Floral formaldehyde. This is lovely. So clean and elegant. Those subtle notes of jasmine and orange blossom playing hide-and-seek just beneath the musk add a surprising complexity. I love this one. My new go-to when the scent of the day is "clean girl aesthetic".

First, let me say that I’m a big fan of NR. I adore the way he works with musk. When this fragrance first came out, I dismissed it quickly—I simply didn’t like it on paper. It felt cold, metallic, almost chemical. Boy, was I wrong. I tried it on my skin a couple of days ago, and the longer it sat, the better it became. It turned creamy, soft, and gentle—like wrapping yourself in a white, fluffy scarf. WOW. I ordered the big bottle immediately.

I love musks...almost any kind. And this is beautiful. You'd recognize the NR DNA...there's always a little floral thing going on that keeps it sweet. I don't know why it's being called "clean," it's much more sensual than that with the florals. Narciso Rodriguez never fails...at least he hasn't for me. Full bottle worthy. Does anyone else get a hint of tuberose in this, especially the drydown? Could it be the Cashmeran I'm smelling?

I had a purse spray of this it came in a set of 3 i think? I loved the edt (black bottle is that edt or edp?) and fleur musc, but For the longest time, i just didnt like pure musc. It felt too...bathroom cleanerish or detergentish. I put it away and months later tried it again and loved it! I used the entire purse spray. This is good all by itself, but i love it layered most of all. I am going to get it again soon.

A gentle, comforting, milky sweet (but not sugary) musk. Like Ivory soap, but none of the aldehydes. I reguarly wear this one on its own and recieve TONS of compliments. Layered with other light perfumes also allows it to shine. When I first tried it on skin, it had a weird almost oud-y funkiness which stopped after a few sprays - just thought I'd mention it. Will likely be a long-standing part of my collection.

This is such a gorgeous, gorgeous scent, but the name is a little misleading. It’s not pure musk - the white florals are actually more prominent - but together with the musk, they create a beautiful, airy, fresh combination. It’s elegant and subtle without being boring, and truly feels like the epitome of an everyday “clean girl” scent. It's become my go-to gym scent. I just wish it lasted longer on my skin.

Beautiful clean scent smooth a soapy but not too soapy. Hint of floral. I layer this with an airy light vanilla and wow this is so beautiful. The protection is good. The longevity is amazing I sprayed it at 3pm and woke up next morning at 9am and it’s still there on my skin and is very strong in clothes. This is the best clean smell. This by far is an oldie but goodie and still should be talked about.

This is such an easy-to-wear perfume! So delicate and tender with a beautiful mix of floral and musky notes. I don’t even know how to describe it... it’s like floating on a pure fluffy cloud above an endless blue-white sea 🌊☁️ It starts clean, cold, and slightly creamy. Then after a couple of hours the florals gently disappear, and the musk dominates — turning soft, velvety, and incredibly pleasant.

Omg I've actually been wearing NR Fragrances for so long but never tried this one until yesterday, I feel like I've cheated myself this might be the most versatile of them all and seriously the best clean girl fragrance that just adds so much elegance. Where have I been? I have recently discovered NR muscs. To me, he is the only one that can create musc!!!!! I have loved everyone so far, the cubes, the For Her collection. But this baby here, Pure Musc...is amazing!!!! This is a clean, ethereal, and sensual. The florals are balanced!!!!!! If I had got this first, I don’t think I would have tried any other NR 🤭. This is now my staple!!!!!

Tried it, bought it, love it! Long lasting and present but not heavy. Musc and white flowers and cleanliness, a very good combination. On my skin it is neither bitter nor masculine, just elegant flowers and a warm musk heart, simple and pure. For some reason it sits even better than the previous Narciso perfumes (which I also consider very well-made) and better than Pure Musc Blanc.

It's like an Avon bubble bath, one of the white floral ones. And I do not mean that as an insult. I mean it in the best possible way. It's like that, only better. This is an easy reach, "go to", with tenacity. It brightens up my day and it's really well blended with a focus on that distinct Narciso musk, just a touch of citrus, fresh white floral. It's perfect for Springtime.

Smells like freshly washed skin after a shower, slightly soapy in a way I actually enjoy. It’s clean, soft, and comforting, especially on days when I don’t feel at my best and want something effortless. The musc stays close to the skin and doesn’t need a special occasion. It reminds me a bit of Lazy Sunday Morning by Maison Margiela. Calm, minimal, and easy to wear.

To me, this is the definition of fluffy white expensive hotel sheets. It smells like you just showered using boujee boutique shampoo, lathered on a moisturizing lotion and are laying in a fuzzy robe on the bed drinking a crisp glass of champagne. I might have to buy a fb just to have for after shower sprays. I imagine it would be lovely in the heat.

If Alyssa Ashley was the warm, classic mother of this perfume, NR Pure Musc is the modern, cool daughter who always wears a crisp, clean white shirt with some stylish bottoms. It’s like musk in snow. I have been wearing this anytime of the day, whether if it’s at work or after a shower before bed. Never overwhelming but always comforting.

Ah i just wanna say guys U don’t know how attached i’m to this scent I can’t get past the fluffy cashmere bomb which reads hugs to me this is just so comforting and relaxing Makes me so relaxed and happy I swear to allah this wasn’t as easy to me to love this scent but once u start appreciating it There is no going back...

My Love. Never had a perfume I liked that much. It smells clean, fresh, powdery, floral, put together. When I wear this I just feel like the woman that makes everything work somehow, composed, cares for herself. Got a lot of compliments on it as well. Wearable in every season, every mood. Its amazing.

Oh, it's so beautiful! When I spray it on my clothing and later I put it on, I start to think - what perfume is it, it's so beautiful and late- boom, it's pure musc NR. also got compliments with it, and it's not super often when people compliment perfume. Looong lasting but not in you face.

oh my god i know i said this reminded me of an oil painting class i went to when i was little but today i applied this again and i've been smelling this beautiful powdery musky fragrance aaaaaaaall day. it's very linear and beautifully clean, i think i will go full size on this soon

This smells like a Japanese android in the year 2837. 120 years ago androids achieved personhood; they now have their own lives and interests, and this one enjoys sitting in Sakura Jazz Cocktail bars just outside town and striking up conversations with men visiting from off planet.

Perfect perfume for musk lovers, seductive sexy with just the right amount of sweetness. I have bought several bottles over the years and will always have one. It's nice to layer with other perfumes as well when you want to add some depth and a sexy element to floral perfumes.

What's not to love! amazingly soft and cocooning, once the initial alcohol has faded the musk hugs you with a very good longevity. While it’s not the most interesting composition — no twists or surprises — it delivers a soft, soapy musk that’s incredibly easy to wear.

For a fragrance that is seemingly simple and straightforward, this has bought me so much joy and comfort especially during stressful times at work. One whiff of this keeps me comforted. I think i’ll be wearing this for a while on the daily. Totally addictive.

NR Pure Musk proves that beauty lies in simplicity. This fragrance ALWAYS, without exception, garners compliments whenever I wear it. I find it quite hilarious that a fragrance so simple is so effective compared to my more “dressy” and “complex” perfumes.

I'm so in love with this fragrance. Might sound weird but it brings me some sort of peace when I'm sniffing it. The original has a sweet dry down that's a bit headache inducing, but I got a dupe that is so much better: creamier and way longer lasting.

I have an attachment with this perfume. I was wearing this the night my beloved cat muffin passed away... It's so beautiful, just like she was. It always reminds me of her everytime I wear it, and the 19 years of memories I have of us together :(

I just love this perfume 🤍 it calms me down when i spray it, she’s clean, soft and midly floral, not overwhelming at all. I tend to get headaches so easily but with this one not at all. Just wish it lasted longer. Please more perfumes like this.

I am totally addicted to this, it's so perfect! It reminds me of being in a vacation and taking a fresh shower at the beach. This genuinely makes me happy. As said before here in the comments, it is hard to describe this fragrance. 100000/10

I finally got a 100ml bottle yey, I'm a huge NR fan and this is one of the best perfumes I've ever smelled, it's soft elegant and clean, it gets me so many compliments also it can be layered with other perfumes to get more unique scent
