Zuccarata

Zuccarata is the baby sister of Accident À La Vanille - Almond Cake LE. AC is my gourmand treasure; hence, l, naturally, fell in love with ZuZu, too! Gourmand lovers, who like sticky sweet treats, THIS IS FOR YOU! ZuZu has the same almond-y, sweet, powdery goodness that AC bellows, but there is a slight kick of floral that happens in the middle (5 minute dry down) — Almost gives it a slight spiciness to the fragrance, which AC does not have. After about an hour, there’s this vanilla creaminess with a light cherry-almond gelato and the heliotrope in the background. Absolutely delicious. I love this fragrance so much! I will definitely be wearing it year ‘round.

I had the absolute best and unique experience to buy this in person in Taormina. Almost left empty handed as nothing really caught my attention at first, but my boyfriend encouraged me to get a little souvenir and boy was he right! Almond sugared cake with some depth to it, really pleasant late fall and winter scent.

This smells like candied almonds and sweet coconut milk with hints of orange blossom on a bed of vanilla Musk topped in powdered sugar. It’s so pretty and cozy. So, so cozy. I can’t wait for the weather to cool down here so I can wear this constantly.

This is beautiful, I wish I could buy more :D It is so sweet and almondy, a bit powdery. On skin it gives me around 4-5 hours of wear, on clothes it stays for days. Will have to make a trip to Sicily one I run out of it :D

Absolutely heavenly. Cozy like a hug. Lotiony, non-offensive, extremely well blended. I want to spray everywhere. Highly recommend, safe blind buy if you like the notes.

You wanted to be dessert right? A beautiful golden plate adorned sugared almond, dusted with coconut powder and garnished with orange blossom. Then please look no further then Zuccarata by Narcisse. It is for the person with an insatiable sweet tooth who wants the sugary sweetness they desire to cling to their skin. For me this is a scent for those who want the equivalent of walking into a dessert shop on their skin. It is a little powdery, almost sickeningly sweet, yet oh so cozy. On skin this lasted about 5 hours for me, radiating at about an arms length. I feel like this is something anyone who loved Almond should at least sniff once.

Trying a decant. At first spray I get a huge blast of a very sweet almond! I love almond but this was way too sweet. As it dries, the sweetness becomes more muted. It dries down to a light almond scent, with some floral notes that I don’t think work well here. It may be the orange blossom I’m getting, but it’s just reminding me of a very lackluster hand soap. 3.5/10

I love this one! If you like Almond scents, you will go head over hills for this one. It's the most well-balanced sugary, creamy almond scent. I really like it and it makes me feel clean, yet edible. Still not sure if I need a FB, but it is so lovely. Like if the inside of an almond croissant was a perfume!

Strong almond opening followed by thick, dense, syrupy, burnt sugar and aquatic coconut notes. Did not see this was an Eau de Toilette when I purchased a large decant. Performs as one might expect an EdT to perform. Minimal silage and minimal longevity. A good value for what it is, I suppose if you're into this type of scent. Not a great fit for me. It's a hard pass.

I absolutely adore this one, it was a blind buy so I'm happy I actually like it! It smells like Brazilian Sweet Almond Oil, but a bit more airy, softer... this is sweet, almondy, the texture is a bit watery. I don't mean watered down or weak, I mean it has a fluidity to it that reminds me of water. Sweet almond flavored water that is!!! It's a balance of strength and softness, where the water acts as a lens, enhancing rather than muting the character of the scent. It's clean. Crystalline almost. It also has a fluffiness of tonka, if that makes sense, the type of tonka that feels less dense and gourmand, instead offering an airy smoothness that wraps around you gently... but there's no tonka here. For a few seconds through the wear, Velvet Tonka by bdk came to mind, though they smell nothing alike. Longevity was... wow, surprising! It lasted all day on my skin (8+ hours) and when I got home, took my sweater off and sniffed my arm, there Zuccarata was, so sweet and fluffy! My sweater smells sooo strong, and on fabric that sweetness comes through and stays much stronger. Super affordable, smells amazing and lasts. Sign me up for a back up bottle lol

Sweet Orange Blossom water, cotton candy and marzipan. This smells like Profumum Roma Acqua e Zuccero with Kyse Zucchero Filato but with almond. I saw some reviews stating it didn’t last long, but it lasted a very long time on my skin, even late in the day, I walked my dog and I could smell it projecting in the air! Every now and then I get tiny wiffs of the almond/coconut accord that Dolce Acqua has, but Zuccarata doesn’t have the pasticky playdoh accords and dept that Dolce Acqua has, so it just reminds me of it only a bit. Regardless, is so so so pretty and super long lasting; great find!

This fragrance is definitely a must-have for those looking for something different, a classic scent that's also modern, and one that lasts! If you're looking for something refreshing and captivating, this is it. The rich aromas of bergamot and jasmine are then followed by a blend of rosewood and sandalwood. A soft musk with patchouli rounds out this intriguing scent. It is a tremendous perfume will take you to a journey of notes & smells of the forest, and that's just the beginning. The experience is one that you'll want to live over and over again.

As a gourmand lover, I expected to adore this. Unfortunately, it is a really weak perfume, with an extreme alcohol sent. Nevertheless, it actually smells like almond dessert. Edit: turns out it was a bad batch... swapped it for Colazione a Taormina...a blind buy that didn't go well though

This is OK. I got a sample of this and while it is a pleasant smell, for me it is definitely not worth purchasing a big bottle. It smells like a light almond lotion and that is it. I will use up my sample to wear to bed but I think the most I would spend on this is maybe $30.

Sugared almonds with coconut powder and orange blossom. It's sweet but powdery notes and orange blossom keeps it from getting cloying and literal gourmand. For the first 5 minutes I can hear some bitterness, but it goes away soon

Nice almond- what I would say it’s a smell of marzipan. Short longetivity sadly , but nice perfume. It’s landed in”like” pile therefore not purchased, however Colazione a Taormina is really nice , long lasting

Fluffy almond cake iced with powdered sugar, airy vanilla, cozy drydown with floral touches of heliotrope. Lovely scent, it is a skin scent and lasts 3-4 hours but feels very natural and well done.
