Bright Black

I got a free sample of this fascinating juice from Krystal Fragrances and it's love at first sniff to me. This is gorgeous to my nose. However pricey, these are the kind of scent profiles that I like. It has cannabis note but I guess it's well blended with the other accords that I didn't recognize it right away. It has this Hindu Kush vibe so its there. Its oud didn't have that skanky vibe. The slightly harsh sugary sweet opening masked or softens the oud in my opinion, but you know it's there in the background like a friendly ghost. It takes a trained nose to truly explore and appreciate oud based fragrances and I am still an amateur, but the oud here actually enhances its sexiness and I simply love it. On the dry down, it's reminiscent of Gucci Intense Oud which I also have. Some folks said the closes clone for this is Anubis Kiss from Alexandria fragrances so I just ordered that one from Amazon to see what it got ;) If you like oud fragrances, you might want to check this out. I'll probably get a 15ML decant of this wonderful creation. I'll give this beauty a 10/10 “Let us spread the scents of peace and kindness. This perfume has a tiny and again tiny hint of Black Afgano. Black Aggano is hard to take in, smells too skanky, people around you don't like it, never gets compliments. It is only 30ml and costs $185. But Bright Black in 100ml, has a beautiful oud scent, attractive and addictive, also has cannabis that smells good instead of choking you; on top of all that, the sweet and sugary scent makes it enjoyable to wear. Gets me lots of compliments and people always want to know what perfume I'm wearing. But keep in mind that this is for cold weather perfume. I love it, and glad sold my Black Afgano on eBay.

Love Bright Black, got the travel size, but hoping to get the full bottle soon. Sad, it is limited. If you love oud, cannabis, patchouli bit with subtle sugar sweetness, and gentleness of musk and cashmere, then this is for you.
