Mozzafiato

#1485 in my "Tour de Fragrance" At $200 for 100 ml this is not a cheap acquisition but it may be the most bangin' leather fragrance I've ever encountered. I've been in saddle shops that weren't this leathery. Like a new suede leather jacket. The orris and incense really set it off. Creamy, smooth, smokey. This stuff rocks! I remember a shop at the Burbank Equestrian Center that had all these leather outfits for the women who were riding in the competitions. It smelled like this. Sexy and dangerous. This scent is definitely date wear. Club wear if your idea of a club is The Country Club in Costa Mesa. This is long lasting and good sillage. Men or women can wear this. I'd put this well ahead of any Tom Ford leather. But what's up with those bottles?

This is a smoky-rubbery/dusty/slightly powdery and rozy orris root with moderate performance overall. Suitable for year round use, day and night. Dominant notes are orris toot, strobg smoky/rubbery incense, dust, strong pink pepper, strong leather, mild bergamot and mild vetiver.

Orris butter on cashmere leather bed. It hits first with pure creamy buttery orris on leather and cashmere for 30 seconds, then goes leathery sour orris with bits of pepper & slight citrus woods. The vetiver is acting as a rubber band so you can detect a tiny whiffs from time to time. After 10 minutes it turns to be leather bandit with doses of sourness and hints of orris. Superbly interesting... It's been a while since i enjoyed sniffing a certain brand fragrances as i am enjoying now sniffing "Naso Di Raza" creations! I am excited as i am getting deep into their collection. The quality is unbelievable and the balance is just on spot, i really respect this brand even if "Mozzafiato" is the last fragrance that i'll like in this house.
