SIMILAR: Woody accords are common but it is also common to see them mixed with floral, citrus, leather, fruity, and other tones. Nasomatto Duro mixes primarily woody and leather accords. These are fragrances that have similar compositions but not necessarily smell the same. Amouage Epic Man is spicy, smoky, and woody, a good fragrance; Amouage Memoir is woody, and green, but also adds incense and tobacco, but worth mentioning; Lalique Encre Noire a L'Extreme Men EDP is a great woody, spicy, and earthy fragrance. SUMMARY: A moderate projecting, clean, slightly smoky, and high-quality wood and aromatic white leather fragrance with some spicy accords. Nasomatto Duro feels clean, comforting, dry, earthy, elegant, exotic, exquisite, formal, fresh, high-quality, masculine, pure, versatile, playful, and very pleasant.

I'm absolutely dumbfounded after reading everyone else's reviews how this scent has been perceived. The way this smells on my female skin couldn't be further from what I've read about. I get a creamy amber and leather scent. No oud whatsoever, and I've smelled dozens and dozens of oud scents so I'd like to think I'm familiar with the characteristics of an oud scent by now. There's nothing animalic about this leather, it's combined with a sweet candy coated amber and the leather is as smooth and rich as a fine Italian handbag. Nothing musky or sharp about it. I would never assign a gender to this fragrance (not opposed to it entirely, but it's really becoming less of an issue these days as people wear whatever interests them and are swayed less by random marketing) but I'm really shocked to discover that the majority of people who have reviewed this fragrance are men, or women who are claiming this is a masculine scent. Since when did leather + amber become a macho man monopoly? I wouldn't recommend this to someone whose only interest is sweet florals + gourmands, but I can think of many women who I think could pull this fragrance off beautifully, and no one would think for a second that this is supposed to be a masculine scent. And that's not to say that it's overly feminine either. This fragrance falls into a category that I would think truly deserves the description of "for women and/or men" Moving on from that, this is a real underrated and almost hidden gem from the house of Nasomatto. I've tested a few other scents by them which are also well done, but none deserving more praise than this little beauty, which seems to be overwhelmingly overlooked as though its a reject from the lineup. Maybe it isn't the most unique combination of notes, but it's certainly one of the most well done renditions of this accord I've ever smelled. It needs to be warmed by the skin, and the gender/age range of that skin is really an irrelevant factor entirely where this fragrance is concerned. I'm a woman who hasn't even reached the "middle ages" yet, and I could easily see this becoming one of the more loved scents in my collection. A collection which by no means is dominated by animalic, oud overloaded, or "masculine" perceived scents. I'd go so far as to say that it's signature worthy, and at the very least more than worthy of a fair chance by anyone here who claims to love dark orientals or interesting leathers.

Most reviewers say this is a statement of a fragrance, and I agree. But a lot of them also say this is a dry woody harsh fragrance. I expected something like the synthetic bitter af mess like Encore Noire, but no. There's a lot of dry, dark, a bit bitter patchouli wood (it always remind me of a pet store, and here it also does, but it's not that strong fortunately), incense, but not very strong and far from being churchy - it mixes with the woods to make them dark, but it's not so synthetic, bitter, harsh and dry as in Encre. It smells like a dark, mossy, wet, exotic wood. There's also a lot of leather in here, but it's not sour - it's clean, dry, old leather - like a leather suitcase that's been locked for 50 years in an attic. This is dark, this is gothic, but it's not a mess, it's not synthetic, harsh, bitter or just straight up repulsive. There is NO top note. It just goes straight to the bottom to the big players. This will be great for a darker day, like cloudy, maybe rainy, chilly or cold. Autumn, winter, but not sunny. Absolutely not office safe, there's going to be a lot of people that will consider this too strong and masculine. It's one of those fragrances that people smell you and they assume you're the boss, dangerous instead of bad boy dangerous. You mean it, you terrify, you're THE guy. Even if you're the brightest person ever if given a chance to be met. This lasts 7h on my skin, but doesn't project - projects for 1 foot maybe for an hour, then maaaybe leaves a nice sillage. Do not blind buy if you don't like patchouli, dark wood, and incense. This is like Pardon was an introduction being a bit sweeter, chocolaty and this being a level up in masculinity, darkness, and woods. Consider this a Pardon on steroids. Ps. I have to add one more thing. Calling this an extrait is a cheeky move IMHO - the box says 80%vol, so this concentration by most is considered an eau de parfum. It lasts 7h on my skin and I think y'all get influenced by the price and 'extrait' on the box. This is not even close to what Nishane does with their approach to extrait.

My take on Duro by Nasomatto When Duro first hits the skin, it feels like your head just got blasted with a shotgun. The opening is dominant, loud and aggressive in the best way. But as it dries down, it slowly evolves into something unexpectedly calming. What I pick up in that initial blast is a wave of spices, oud, and leather. Specifically, a subtle cinnamon backing up nutmeg, creating a warm, spicy earthy blend. Cedar adds dry woodiness, while a touch of oud gives it a slight resinous depth. Eventually, musk creeps in not overly animalic, though. Maybe it’s just me, but Nasomatto’s musk feels different from Orto Parisi’s; Orto leans more feral, more untamed. Toward the base, I catch a floral note that reminds me of heliotrope that fades into a soft echo of patchouli. Duro smells like extreme masculinity with hidden compassion. It's the kind of man no one tries to provoke dangerous, composed, radiating masculine confidence, yet guided by reason. The image that comes to mind is Nietzsche’s Übermensch powerful but not mindless. It’s dry, aggressive, and loud, especially at the start. Not as complex as Cuoium, but they still feel like they're cut from the same cloth. If I had to describe the relationship, Duro is like the father disciplined, bold, and assertive while Cuoium is the son: raw, primal, warm, smoky and dirtier in a beautiful way. Cuoium leans more animalic, almost oily, but still somehow clean. Duro, on the other hand, is more elegant despite its sharp edges. Cuoium is still my favorite, but I enjoy Duro deeply. For me, it’s a solid 8.5/10. A truly amazing piece of art by the genius Alessandro Gualtieri.

For me this perfume was a blind buy. I just felt I would like it from the reviews I read. Never smelled it before. My 1st impression when I got it, was a bit of a disappointment. It was sweeter than I though and for my taste. Something like sandalwood probably. Not long after the 1st puff, the sweetness left and it was a very leathery scent. A bit of a mix of old leather jacket or belt and old books. I liked it cus this is what I was looking for. Then, after not long, let's say half and hour, I was shocked thaat I couldn't feel anything. I was upset and angry cus I though maybe it's even fake or something. But in the same time I thought maybe it just went into my nose and got used and cannot feel it anymore. Anyway, after another half an hour, I smelled my skin again and again I was shocked cus I could feel it again. But this time had a different scent. It was something like leather, fur, old books and civet. The civet was the most predominant. Was almost at the point that I was feeling that it smells too much fecal. But that was very short and soon it had a mix of old leather jacket, old books, fur, a bit smokey, even a lil bit earthy as in moss or actual soil and also animalic. For me, a very nice and equilibrated scent. It stayed like this without changing for actually quiet a long time, I'd say around 14 hours. At the end, I was surprised that I could feel besides the leathery scent, also the 1st kinda sweet smell

I love Duro. I find it to be an easy scent to wear for those who love wood scents. I have been going back and forth on buying Duro and Pardon based on reviews saying formula has changed and is weaker.’ I purchased Pardon from an online retailer and found this to be true. HOWEVER, I then purchased Duro from directly from the Nasomatto website in February, 2025 and it has lasted the whole day/night on my skin. It is now faint, but I woke this morning and smelled my arm and there it is from spraying it on there YESTERDAY MORNING. Thankfully I also repurchased Black Afgano to get free shipping, too (but I’m not quite out of my previous bottle). I’m thinking the reformulation speculation is coming from those finding a good deal online, or getting decants sent to them from online decanters. I am all about a deal, but I am finding these dealers may be getting dud batches that perhaps were stored incorrectly or watered down. I think my Pardon bottle was watered down by the seller, or was a return that someone used and topped off the used fragrance with water before they returned it. I will be purchasing Pardon and others complete my Nasomatto collection (now at 6/12...I have Hindu Grass, which is discontinued)...I’ll probably skip China White only. Nasomatto and By Kilian are my favorite fragrance houses. Bottom line: I will only purchase “beast mode” fragrances from the perfume house directly.

Imagine that you are an archaeologist. You are digging in the wet earth and you uncover a thick wooden door. You push and push on the musty door until it finally cracks open and you walk into a room that was once used as a gentleman' room in years past. A place where men of standing in the community would meet, have drinks, smoke cigars, play cards, and talk business. The walls and floors are dark heavy wood and the chairs are covered in thick leather that has worn from usage over the years. Piles of dust coat the floors from years of neglect. Hints of smoke, mixed with a damp muskiness, waft through the air, remnants of the past gatherings. Duro is a very masculine scent to my nose. Strong, powerful, serious, and rugged. It can be worn in formal or upscale casual clothing, but not ultra-casual. I get great projection and longevity on my skin. This feels like an older man's scent to me. Someone that has established a name for themselves and can comfortably sit at the game table. If you like woody masculine scents, you should try this one.

Duro has been in my wish list for a while now and I finally pulled the trigger. I unboxed it less than an hour ago and sprayed on my wrist so these are my first thoughts and not an actual review so don't expect any comments on longevity or anything similar. Most people describe this as woody, spicy and leathery and that pretty much covers it, that's exactly what you get with Duro, perhaps I'd add a little smoke on top of it. The opening felt a little harsh, to my nose the leather is a little medicinal and it does reminds my of Gucci Guilty Absolute (have to do a side by side to see if they are actually similar but it did reminded me of it), it also found some likeness to Black Afgano, not that they are actually that similar but there's something familiar about it (again, I need to do a side by side). As mentioned I won't discuss longevity but I can say that it's not a projection monster, based on 1 spray on the wrist I don't feel this as strong and offensive as other frags, this one remains closer, a smaller scent bubble.

I am trying this perfume right now and It is really surprising me. What i am not sure is if It is doing that on a good or a bad way. In one hand the smell is much nicer than i was hoping to. I thought It would be the typical gas smell of the very strong leather fragances like Gucci guilty absolute or dark lord by Lilian; but this one goes more on the line of tuscan leather by Tom Ford, with a very spicy and balanced leather which is very pleasant. But un the other hand the performance is not the beast i hoped according to the reviews i had read. The longevity is not bad but the sillage is weak. This fragance doesnt project too much... And more being an extrait de parfum... Comparing with other nasomatto perfumes that i have tried (pardon, black afgano, nudiflorum) this is the weakest one and i think It is more unisex even than any of these three. I dont know if duro is the most suitable name for this perfume... Scent: 7.5 Longevity: 7 Sillage: 6 Quality/price: 4 Versatility: 6 Originality: 7 Global: 7.5

So I'm not usually a fan of animalic fragrances. My collection is primarily inoffensive fragrances without any "skank". I'll admit, when I first tried Duro on a tester strip in a store, my immidiate reaction was "whoa, there!". It packs a punch, and it does not hold back on that initial spray. However, I got a sample of this a bit later, and decided to try it on skin, to get the full experience. And boy, once this juice gets to settle down on the skin, it is pure class. It is a heavy leather sofa with varnished mahogany in a gentlemans club. The beauty of this fragrance is in the air, not when you stick your nose on a tester strip. It just exudes confidence and class, and it makes me feel great. The feedback on this has been amazing as well, as it does not go unnoticed. Just remember - wear this with confidence, or it will wear you. Preferably in at least an upscale casual or semi-formal outfit. And for the love of god - do not overspray, because this is Potent stuff! Best worn on a chilly evening.

Duro is an animalistic beauty - it’s rugged, masculine and dirty without being offensive or overly challenging. It’s pretty linear from the get go as the fragrance doesn’t seem to change much over time, however that doesn’t mean it lacks depth or complexity. Unfortunately official notes aren’t listed by Nasomatto, however this is an incredible leather scent with woody and animalistic notes, I mainly get oud and maybe civet/castoreum. Unidentified warm spices in the base round off the scent and smooth the edges of the harsher leather and woods. Duro is very dark and bold with a lot of character, this fragrance is unapologetic and loud. It will definitely get you noticed and is a confidence boosting scent, however I’m unsure how appealing it would be to others. Regardless, this scent is very high quality as expected from Nasomatto and one of their most underrated releases.

Opens with leathery Dr. Pepper. Over time, the Dr. Pepper accord mellows out and Duro settles into a more traditional leather scent. It reminds me of getting into a luxury SUV with a leather interior, but not one you're familiar with. There's a syrupy sweetness that lasts through the entirety of the fragrance that I really enjoy. When I was a kid, the concessions stand at our local ice rink had a slushie machine called a Slush Puppie. I haven't thought about Slush Puppies in 15 years, but for some reason the sweetness in Duro reminded me of the distinct watermelon Slush Puppie syrup. Weird, I know. Duro is masculine, but not nearly as hyper-masculine, dark, gothic, etc as I was expecting. It's much more in line with Ombre Leather, Tuscan Leather, etc. Pleasantly surprised, as I was expecting a dusty antique leather jacket. Very wearable.

I think this is one of my favorite leather scent, there are several ways to approach leather in perfumery, either by warm spices notes, animalic notes or fruity notes. For those skeptical about fruity notes you can see Tuscan Leather, Soleil de Jeddah, Cuir majeste, Noble Leather... DURO has definitely taken the way of warm spices and what stands out the most to my nose is a blend of Saffron and Patchouli which gives this warm note of woody/spicy leather, and everything that revolves around it is only there to strengthen this accord (this remains my personal perception of this perfume). This is a very masculine and sophisticated fragrance, I think it's something quite modern in approach, the fragrance is a bit linear but not unpleasant and don't bother me with time (what can happen to me with other linear type of perfumes).

Very nice spicy/woody/musky thing. Hard to describe. I made a side-by-side wearing of both Duro and Montale Aoud Musk, and can only say that I will give a small win to Duro in the top, while in the base Duro is slightly woodier, while AM is slightly spicier - and I might give a small win to the Montale in the drydown (!!!). Truth is that I'd probably fail a blind test. I paid ~$75 for 30ml and love it, but can't imagine myself spending more on that one, in view of the very strong similarities with Montale Aoud Musk (~$70 for 100ml), both in scent and performance, and the fact that Duro is a overall a high-end utilitarian scent, more than a 'staged' fragrance that tells a story. Would only recommended if one can find it under $100, and even though, I'm not sure why one shouldn't opt for the Montale, which is REALLY close.

This and Baraonda are my first niche perfumes and still the most complimented fragrances I have. I love Duro from opening to the end, now maybe even more than Baraonda. My girl loves Baraonda. Last time I've showered before going to her and lightly put Baraonda on me - before I've worn Duro. She still smelled Duro on my neck and was delighted when she smelled it for the first time on me. I'd put it in the same category with Musc Ravageur. The only question would be how agressive you can go. Duro has way more balls but both are amazing. For a long time I got seduced by other perfumes, but in the end, I go back to these two. I have 0 regrets for buying backup bottles. @Elieaoun6 it's easy to go nose blind to Duro. It's also not the screaming type of perfume. It lasts on me around 10h

A perfect mixture of overdose mahagony and patchouli well blended with woodsy ambers. As I first met this perfume in Bologne Italy in a small niche perfume shop, my nose wasn't trained enough to appreciate its depth and complexity and I thought it smells like a very luxurious furniture shop, but as the time passed on and after I tried multiple perfumes with the same mahagony-amber duo in the center (Montale Aoud Musk, Jul et Mad Garuda, Armani Privée Myrhh Imperial) I started to be able to appreciate the true beauty of this unique master piece better. It's definitely a statement fragrance but at the same time makes you feel very cozy and comfortable. This has become my first choice for business meetings ever since, or where I am invited to make a speech at evening events.

very stringent woods and little bit of spices, but to my nose this is all about the woods. Not sure what kind of woods is most dominant here, probably some kind of synthetic mahogany, ebony, ceder, oud mix. It is very unique in its scent profile. You will get noticed, but I think more in a statement making than a crowd pleasing way. Aoud Musk from Montale is the only one I have tried with a similar woodsy note, but this one is much more stringent and linear and higher quality. Where the Montale has a lot more going on Duro is all about this one cocky woodsy statement making accord. I like it, but will not find enough occasions to wear it to buy a full bottle. Will save my decant to wear it on some kind of hip art vernissage.

This is a typical Amouage scent, I can picture Amouage doing this, Opens up leathery and Woody, after few minutes I begin to get sweet spicy notes, reminding me of Amouage Jubilation and also Amouage OpusVII, It’s so obvious! I love this, It’s funny how people say it’s a linear scent while to me it changes noticeably, Longevity( I timed it) was 18hrz on my skin, I couldn’t remember when it became a skin scent, 9.5/10 Silage is Great, Fills a small room, 8.5/10 Projection is Epic!! Projects better than Black Afgano IMO, 9.0/10 Scent is great but not that unique, 7.5/10 Women could wear this Cos of the spicy feeling after some minutes, Test before you buy, It’s a Love or Hate but I definitely Love it!!!!

I got an official sample from Nasomatto. It comes in the most disappointing form of sample. One of those half spheres with no lid. So once you open it, it's not closable. Luckily i decant a lot, so i put it in a decant. Duro is a beautiful fragrance with woody and leathery notes, for sure. But i'd say it's mostly a "fruit and berry like" fragrance with a wood and leather base. It's sour and sweet (like berries) with an animalic back note. I love it. It's masculine, strong and has a lot of nuances. Autumn, winter, or spring. Casual, datenight, or formal. Day or night. Very versatile, not off putting. Personal score: 9.25/10. I need a bottle someday soon.

Opening was bit rough and animalic and kinda rubbery, somewhat similar to seminalis! That however didn’t last and quickly moved into its earthy base of heavy patchouli, vetiver, papyrus sandalwood and some leathers. Surprised not many people pickup on the papyrus note. There is a bit of spices keeping it playful and lively while the musk accord remains underneath. Definitely a patchouli bomb and very masculine which I know could be challenging for a lot of people. Surprisingly a love for me despite finding this particular musk accord challenging for a short duration. The dry down and sillage are amazing Leans masculine and has great performance.

Finally got around to wearing my sample the other day. Obsessed. Not getting much in the way of leather and I wouldn't call this leather forward. It is woody and smoky, with sandalwood, which I associate with incense, though many probably wouldn't call this an incense scent. Underneath that there's a slightly animalic musk and probably some oud. The musk makes it very masculine but the sandalwood dominance, to my nose, makes it different from the standard crop of masculine fragrances. On me it performed well, I could smell it all day and it didn't retreat to a skin scent at any point. Definitely getting the bottle.

Super masculine with an aggressive spicy opening, saffron and cumin mostly. After a while spiceness tones down into a wood animalic boya scent, saffron builds the leather accord which remains all over the long lasting dry down. Quite a bold scent, winter fragrance (I can't imagine wearing this on summer). Even if it has a masculine DNA I can imagine a girl wearing it as provocation, like an ironic move. It has some sweatiness on my skin. Longevity and sillage are HUGE as most of the Gualtieri's creations. Definetly love this but i don't recomend for blind buy, expecially if you are not familiar with boya.

Duro is very interesting. It smells very woodsy and leathery. Duro reminds of smelling my leather jacket with some woodsy feelings to it. You would say it's very masculine smelling. It has also some sweetnes to it. This scent is for confident people, you would definitely get notice with this scent, so your personality needs to fit to Duro. I find Duro very masculine, but women can also wear it, if they like it. I can picture a confident woman wearing this scent. The longevity is very last lasting on (7 hours+), on clothes even more. You will get notice for sure. 1 - 3 sprays are enough.

To my nose: 100%, there is Oud here. It's a lovely, woody, fruity, and suede-leather note there with a slight sweetness, almost s candy like note. Definitely something animalic and "fresh clean". I got a decant, and I'll be wearing this with pleasure. Possibly buying a bottle. I'd say you could get away with this all year round, except for the warmest humid summer days. NOT a beach scent😅. Personal score: 8.75/10. Very close to exceptional. Absolutely worth sampling. But not blind buy safe. This is a bit challenging for beginners and people used to designers.

This is possibly the most aptly named scent I've ever smelled. Hard indeed. Its construction is rather simplistic, consisting of wood, leather, and oud in the base. Duro is bold, unapologetic, focused, distinguished, and despite its propensity to induce a headache, beautiful. There is not an ounce of levity in Duro, and the only charm it carries is perhaps a wry-bordering-on-predatory grin. Between the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, Duro would be the Bad, and it immediately conjures images of such a world. A lost and dusty world full of men like stones.

My most worn fragrance. It starts sharp (almost metallic) when i spray it, smelling like dry wood, patchouli and leather; but after a while, it becomes warmer. To me, it's very bold and masculine but not agressive, in fact it feels very sensual and intimate once you have it on for some time. Very versatile, i wear it day and night but i avoid it when it gets hot in summer. You can smell it if you are close but it doesn't project a lot. The only negative is that every time i buy a new bottle, the scent changes a bit.

Manliest cold weather scent I know of. Great performance, but you easily get nose blind to it - ergo some people think it doesn't perform well. Very wild and sharp at the beginning but gets tamed after an hour. This isn't the type of smell you wear for women although they will most likely like it. This is the one that sets you apart among men. Person I'd associate it with would be calm mafia boss. Not someone who needs to be announced or prove himself. When he's here, you know it and you better pay attention.

c’est mon parfum de tout les jour depuis son achat le mois d’octobre dernier, j’aime l’odeur c’est ce que je cherchais un cuir moderne lisse boisé qui n’évolue pas en odeur ambré vanillé comme la plus part des cuirs de nos jour , je ne reçois pas de oud et la fragrance n’évolue pas sur moi reste la même les amateurs de cuir apprécieront ce petit bijou le seul bémol il ne projette pas il est muet et la longévité est de 5 a 7heures sur ma peau , les seuls nasomatto que j’ai apprécié sont duro et pardon

This is one of my favourites fragrance. Very manly and strong. I saw a review where is saying that is light and nice. Well, not on my skin. This fragrance performance is 5 sickness hours projection, whith another 2-3h medium, and close to the skin for other 3. But, the people stop you on the street and ask you what you wearing, lots of compliments from mens or womens. For womens is a wild magnetic scent. PS: is for over 30 years old. For over 20 years old try Nasomatto Pardon - the romantic one.

Much has been written to desscribe that one, so I'll limit myself in stating two things: - It's beautiful, and probably the first (and possibly the only) Nasomatto full bottle worthy for me. - Should you look for alternatives: if you're poor, get Montale Aoud Musk (that has a similar result, clearly a step lower in terms of quality); if you're rich, get Roja Musk Aoud (that has a similar result, clearly two steps higher in terms of quality and a fantastic real oud) Highly recommended.

My partner and I love this line of fragrances! We were in Portugal last summer and wanted this particular one but the store was sold out. I was so happy when I found out you sold it! Most of the fragrances with this brand (including this one) are quite strong and will last quite a while, so a little goes a long way in my opinion. Duro is my husbands new favourite along with his go to, Black Afgano (mine is definitely still Absinthe)! Would recommend to anyone for sure!

This wonderful perfume smells like pure sophisticated luxury and gives you such an exquisite feeling right from first sniff on as if you were sitting in you tailor made luxury vehicle with all these mahagony interior accessories and leather seats. It is linear yes, but thanks to that marvelous combiation of amber-wood-patcouli and spices, you never get rid of that linearity even for the 9 hour straight longeivity of that beautiful and exclusive sexy fragrance.

This, Halfeti by Penhaligon’s and Eden by Adamo are, by far, the most complimented fragrances I own. Duro is the GOAT when it comes to compliments, though, I mean, every single time I wear it, women go crazy for it. On my skin, this is truly magic. The scent suits the way I look, the way I dress, everything. Perfection. It is probably not for everyone; actually, it is definitely not for everyone. But that is precisely why perfume is so subjective and personal.

Love this cologne. If you want to smell like a man then this is the cologne for you. It has notes of wood maybe cedar. Every time in wear it I get compliments about how good I smell. My wife and daughter always tell me how good it smells so my teenage son is always sneaking a squirt. One caveat though use it sparingly A little bit goes a long way. One half squirt is all I ever use and thats plenty. Anything more would be overpowering.

Smelled this when i was in parfumarija in dublin and was extremely tempted to buy it, by far my favourite nasomatto and recently bought a full bottle. A very sexy but also sophisticated leather scent that smells quite sweet for the first hour or so and then dries down into a dark-ish resinous and woody leather scent. Absolutely incredible and performance is relatively strong, lasts about all day on my skin and projects quite strong.

First off, MaxAroma and Jomashop have great deals on this right now. It's a terrific creamy leather scent with hints of spice and a smooth wear. Slightly sweet, synthetic and extremely masculine, it's perfect for all seasons but for summer, where lighter scents tend to fare better. The quality, potency and blend are all first rate, making Duro the underrated gem of the Nasomatto line. I cannot get enough of this right now.

It's a very strong, almost overpowering fragrance at first. When you apply it, the leather notes hit hard. It's an engine being turned on, it's sexy and masculinity. When it cools down, you get a subtle hint of sweetness. It's luxury, honeyed leather, dusted with cocoa, tobacco. If I had to guess the notes, I'd say: agarwood, cedar, coumarin, leather, musk, patchouli, amber. Maybe flecked by vanilla? Definitely a keeper.

Opens with the smell of Dr Pepper. The syrup. Very nice, not exactly gourmand, because the wood is just as prominent. Slowly the spices drop, sweetness from the Dr Pepper syrup stays and leather enters. Dries down to leather, woods, with a nice sweetness. Fantastic, much more wearable than the reviews suggest. Signature scent worthy for the bold. Last forever and projects like a beast. Two sprays max any time anywhere

I remember when I first time sprayed it on myself,it was a blind buy and my first reaction was "wow that's strong,very bold" after 2-3 times of wearing it I got comfortable with it and started to like more and more until I just fell in love with it.it is unique,Strong and very bold perfume maybe you won't like it first time but it grows on you and you will fell in love with it and how it makes you feel. 10/10

There are fragrances that are nice, everyday people pleasers. There are then fragrances that are great, amazing works of art. Then there are fragrances that are on another level. Duro is on a level of its own. It’s so addictive to me, intoxicating wood and leather. Truely amazing this fragrance is a masterpiece, seriously. There aren’t many fragrances that make me feel as confident as I do wearing this. 16/10

Oh lord! Nasomatto Duro! Blind buy and happy I did. For me this is a fantastic fragrance by Nasomatto. Luxurious elegance woody spice and a bit “dusty” I don’t think Duro is that “heavy” I think it work as a job fragrance. But be ready you get noticed and a lot of positive comments. On my skin Duro is a beast and last very long. Love this and happy that Duro is in my collection.

After 10 years of experience in Perfume, i finally like this very much. I remember thinking of it as a very strong scent that didn't have any appeal. super woody, metallic leather and patchouli. Now, as i'm a bit older, this is pretty good actually. I still prefer Black Afgano and Pardon but this is almost up there. I detect a bit of dry fruits too, in the opening.

This is the most explosively masculine perfume I've ever smelled!! You couldn't stop this from projecting if you held it at gunpoint and threatened it's bottle. This comes on as strong as Dave Chappelle's portrayal of the late Rick James. No apologies whatsoever! This perfume says: "WOOD, SPICE, LEATHER...B@TCH!!!! I'M A MAN!!!" Love it!!!

The juice is so dark you can see it sitting in the atomiser tube. Strong overpowering wood and leather, a little on the musty and dusty side? I don't hate it, but it certainly smells antique to say the least. On fabric I swear this smells a little more like whiskey or cognac, even though it's not in the listed notes.

For a while now I was racking my brain, thinking that when Duro dries down, it bears uncanny similarity to another perfume. Finally, it hit me: Givenchy Gentleman Reserve Privee. Both are wonderful, but after an hour or so, Duro loses some of its initial uniqueness and turns into a lipsticky scent.

Just revisited Duro. Reminded me of a less vigorous TF Ebene Fume. Ebene is awesome. Duro seems stuck, some great energy. Both are clones of another. But TF is a Massive Attack. A Protector and an Agent of Focus and Change. Where Duro just makes it past the hump, but does a fantastic job!

This thing smells feromones. I love it and don't want my decant to end, because it is quite expensive to buy a full bottle and even then, 30 ml is quite too little to enjoy often.. By the way, does anyone what kind of animal smell is it? I can only imagine a deer smelling similar!

A refined Spicy,suede leather and gasoline. This is Dior Fahrenheit aged in oak barrel and covered with leather. Far better than things like creed viking in my opinion. 7 to 8 hours longevity, Sticks to clothes - good projection and good silage

Umm has this been reformulated? Just got my third bottle.and it feels weak and even smells slightly different than my previous two bottles. My previous two were great! This new one not so much, still very nice but not the same... 😔

Those who tell that recent formulation is weaker should check their nose. My batch is current year and I could still detect the perfume on my shirt after a week since sprayed. Can’t wait for autumn to use it more.
