This is a deliciously blended, warm and elegant fragrance that feels both familiar and original for under $50. The vanilla, sweet woods and moss lead with a powdery jasmine like note twining through, the pink pepper and bergamot provide a warm, clean backdrop. On first spray it gives a hint of aniseed and creamed honey. It's earthy but ethereal. The notes are nothing out of the ordinary, but the sum of them feels enticingly strange, like a memory that might be a dream. I keep sniffing my wrist trying to place that scent. I feel like this is so lovely its a safe blind buy for anyone, but will particularly appeal to those who likes fragrances in the woody- or amber-floral powdery wheelhouse. However, if you're hoping for citrus-fresh based on Natio's description of tangerine, grapefruit & bergamot you will be disappointed. Longevity-wise....maybe its my oily skin or the tropical climate but despite being an eau de parfum this one fades in 3-4 hours. Sillage is more than skin scent but not quite arm's length. It layers beautifully with the sandalwood-heavy Oscar de La Renta Alibi Eau Sensuelle for extra punch.

I got mine from Priceline for $20 it is beautiful, it’s a distant cousin of Grand Soir. It doesn’t say it contains amber which surprises me because I would have guess amber musk and vanilla, those citrus top notes are not the bright fresh sparkling citrus you would think they are deep, earthy, the dark vanilla and the moss see to that, the musk is gorgeous again deep and dark. This is sexy, expensive smelling perfect for date night especially in the colder months.

a sweet and warm fragrance like a cozy day with a steaming cup of chai by a rainy window. the smell is lovely, softly flowery, and carried through on a bed of vanilla and amber. i can't get enough of it. it does not have any of the 'perfumy' alcohol scent that might sit on the skin from initial sprays, and it envelopes you like a hug. very comforting, and one i would be happy to wear day to day. unisex, work and date appropriate, and melts into your skin. i love it.

I wish I smelt this more when it was in Terry White pharmacy along with the other two from the collection. This was definitely the most feminine smelling out of all 3 unisex fragrances from the southern skies collection. I sprayed it on and a beautiful warm, waft of flowers, vanilla and amber stayed on me in the heat for a few hours. Ugh! Now the pharmacy is being renovated and it was on sale, I wish I grabbed it! There's another one with apple and citrus notes too, and I sprayed both on, so they're definitely layerable too. I definitely need to test this again. It's killing me not knowing what the ethereal florals are! Lunar and Solar all have citrus notes so they could've just mixed together.

Simultaneously the best and worst aroma. It's an ideal vanilla... no pungent synthetics or conflated spices. Think the warmth of baking that settles into something earthy, there but not rich. I credit the moss. It's interesting synergism and i love that a strong musk envelops both from opening through dry down. My only criticism: It's too strong. One spray to the wrist permeates the whole house and made my throat scratch and feel as though it was swelling until i thoroughly aired my space. Allergy free, but i had an epipen at the ready. A real shame.
