Essencial Oud Vanilla

My favorite of the line. Wow, this is fantastic, and it even reminds me of some niche vanillas I've smelled. What makes this special is that vanilla note, which is rich, balsamic, and yes, boozy, but not too sweet. The way it combines with the soft spices (cardamom, nutmeg, maybe even ginger) and the clean, synthetic oud is just delicious. What I also love about this scent is that it's fresh! Fresh, bright, even sparkling. You would think from the notes that it would be just the opposite, but I could even see wearing this on a spring or cooler summer day as well. Definitely the most unique and most special in this whole line, and just like the others, smells totally natural and does not assault my nose at all. It's super radiant and strong too, without being overbearing. Just love it. 9/10

É um perfume de nicho quase, diferente de tudo, há quem diga que parece cheiro de velho. É extremamente intenso, doce, licoroso, perfomance absurda também. É como se estivesse no seu apartamento escuro tomando um licor bem doce enquanto houve jazz. Aroma: 10/10 Perfomance: 10/10

I can get the smell of distilled alcoholic beverages, maybe cognac; after a few minutes I can smell spicy notes framed by vanilla, then follows notes of agarwood - the kind you smell in Middle Eastern scents, but softer. Finally the composition becomes plain woody, however soft. The evolution is complex. The problem arises in its lack of originality - there is too much common points with Essencial Elixir and Essencial Mirra. It is redundant to have it if you have one of these. It compares to an oriental from some high end perfumery house in some of its attributes; in that sense, as with others from Natura, it does not smell in proportion to its price.
