Essencial Supreme

A woody fragrance with sweet nuances and a delicious iris note. It’s very cozy and works extremely well in a cold weather. A true gem, probably the most underrated and, for me, the best in the line.

#1191 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Okay, this is the final Essencial. I've purchased all the EDPs and didn't care for "Ato." Liked all th rest, and I like this one too. Another woody "Essencial", this one distinguished with sage and iris notes and a more ambery opening, spicier in the dry down. If there's a scent that isn't improved by iris I've yet to run into it. So I like the scent, but the performance here is middling, definitely the least potent of the Essencial line. I actually checked again to make sure this is really an EDP and not an Eau de Toilette. Makes it to lunch, but not a lot of sillage. Too dry to be strongly aromatic, so you might want to overspray. It's not oily at all, so you could spray clothing if you like. More powdery in character than the other Essencials. Kind of hints of Versace "Blue Jeans" and Armaf "Niche Oud." Fine for the office, casual wear. Not strong enough to offend anyone even in close spaces as I think it will only get noticed at intimate range.
