Homem Essence

#1164 in my "Tour de Fragrance" I've acquired most of the Natura "Homem" scents, and while I've enjoyed them all the collaboration of Veronica Kato and Clement Gavarry has produced a scent more complex and nuanced than all those Kato herself created as she tends to repeat the same notes, a lot This is much heavier on the citrus and patchouli, making this a very fresh and bright citrus scent for warm weather wear, but without the sharp synthetic citrus you get with so many Middle East houses. Totally similar to Chanel "Bleu de Chanel" EDT, not the more complex EDP. So if you have "Bleu de Chanel", Missoni "Pour Homme" parfum, Versace "Dylan Blue", Armaf "Tag-Him", Armaf "Club de Nuit Blue Iconic", Al Haramain "Amber Oud Blue", Armaf "Voyage Bleu" or any of the other 100 odd attempts to copy BDC, save your money. You get nothing with this you don't already have. However, if you're looking for a good BDC copy and you can live without the incense, this is $40 on PureBrasil.com. As with BDC this is car pool, elevator, small office safe. Versatile for any purpose, but primarily a summertime scent.

Opens with citrus and ginger notes, the follows the cardamom; the notes in middle and the base are not so clear: what follows is a woody floral blend that develops with some complexity but no discernible notes. It is curious the perception of a burnt wax, something on the edges and not that clear to the nose, nor easily detectable. It is not one of my favorites among the ones of the Homem line, however it is quite unique for I cannot remember having smelt anything similar any iother, whether from the house or not. I do not find it fine, quite the opposite, it gives the image of chest hair and open shirt, or a young man who makes efforts to be fashionable without realizing that the thing fails somewhere. It is nice, for everyday wear, casual occasions, cool or cold days. I think it deserves to be tried before buying it

O primeiro perfume da minha coleção. Pense em um perfume que lembre o bleu, mas como se fosse nacional. Muito bom, me surpreendeu quando fui comprar. Ele fixa por 7 horas na minha pele (podendo chegar até 8) e projetar até 1 hora e 30 fácil. Esse perfume vai bem até uns 28 graus por ser bem amadeirado, a partir daí já desanda. Pode usar no frio também. É isso mesmo, primeira review do meu primeiro perfume. Mas se quiser exclusividade esse não é o perfume certo. Se pegar uma promo no ML ele chega até uns 100 reais.

Perfume com cara de Homem e com a cara da linha Homem da Natura. Cheiro bem gostoso de sentir, para você que trabalha num ambiente mais climatizado, ou um dia com a temperatura mais baixa, esse perfume é muito bom como assinatura para trabalhos e dias assim. Perfume elegante, chamativo, performance muito boa, incrível!

Perfume coringa, quando uso recebo muito elogios, da linha homem da natura considero o mais versátil, bom pra ser utilizado em escritório, igreja e encontros. Vale pegar na promoção máximo R$ 120, não vale R$ 210 preço que a natura está vendendo hoje.

Impressionado com a qualidade da Natura. Homem essence bate de frente com muitos importados e quem gosta de perfumes alinhados para usar no trabalho, deve conhecer esse.

A secagem dele é bem atacada. Isso divide opiniões. Eu não curti essa faceta do perfume. No mais, é um perfume muito bom.

Acredito que seja o melhor perfume brasileiro levando em conta uma equação que vai desde o preço até a performance.

Released in mid-2016, Natura Homem Essence is the first Deo Parfum of the Natura Homem line. In a nutshell, it would be the Brazilian equivalent to the international Eau de Parfum, since the nomenclatures for perfumery in Brazil changed a few years ago, for reasons that are linked to taxes and tributes. With the slogan: "The great journey is to live", the concept is to encourage the man in finding his own way to pursue his journey. It was created over a co-participation involving Verônica Kato (Natura’s perfumer in-house) and Clément Gavarry, from IFF. The official composition brings notes of bergamot, ginger oil, grapefruit and lemon, in the output. In the heart, notes of cardamom, black pepper, cinnamon of Ceylon, coriander and violet. In the base, patchouli, guaiac wood, cedar, amber and synthetic molecules of Iso E Super and cashmeran. Before proceeding, it is worth reinforcing that cashmeran note (or cashmere) is nothing new in the universe of perfumes. You've probably heard of it under a different name, more common, which is cashmere wood. This is because such molecule has woody facets and the silky aspect of the famous wool. Currently, the industry has begun to talk more openly about the synthetic compounds used in their compositions. Natura Homem Essence is a woody-spicy, full of sensuality and almondy facets. It is clear that within the current Natura Homem line, this is the scent made for calling attention (at parties, events, ballads, etc.). But it's not necessarily made just for nighttime use. On my skin, the output was not as citrus as I'd hoped. The fragrance seems to start from the middle, not the beginning. I feel a strong impact of violet, cardamom, cinnamon and fruity nuances (that are subtle), with greater emphasis on the grapefruit. Also, I don't see a lot of evolution, because I can perceive, in a few minutes, the amber and the synthetic compounds, mainly, the cashmeran. The projection is great and the lasting is very good. I was able to notice its presence, even after about 10 hours on the skin. But I felt that the fragrance "fell apart" in warmer weather (there is a medicinal smell, time or another, that can bother). I don't understand why I saw so many negative comments about this scent, because despite not being innovative to me, it has a lot to add to the Brazilian audience, in general. In addition, it does not have that common cheap smell that various national colognes have. My biggest criticism goes regarding that silly habit in using terms in English for a fragrance created by a super Brazilian company (Homem Essência, instead of "Essence" would be better), in addition to be clear that it's just another flanker untapped, since the DNA of the traditional version is not there. To finish, the bottle received a special paint that reminded me of the finishing used in Natura Homem Nitro Intenso (2015). But you can see the contents through the sides, which are transparent.

I only blind bought this, just because it had Iso E Super in it. It is a clean fresh citrusy scent. Put it on straight after a shower and reapply every seven hours...it last seven plus hours... I used seven sprays...both wrist, behind my ears, back & front of my neck and chest. Got a few comments, when passing by people at work. But the sillage sucks arm's length at best... Late spring and summer time scent only. Would I buy this again, um? I honestly don't know. It's an EDP so at least you know it's the juice in it is high. So it might be worth, the price tag on this thing. Smells like Molecule 01 Escentric Molecules, with a strong but not overpowering citrus scents & with a bit of spice. By the way, the box & bottle are okay. The box has braille on the side and the cap for the bottle is magnetic. It reminds me of Dior Homme 2020 (one of the best scents in contemporary perfumery), but less woody, more aromatic and light, without vetiver and elemi, making it fresher. The Iso E Super, as in Dior, provides a super comforting woody tone, silky and soft, but here it is less warm and, in the opening, lightly cut by the citrusy and sharp ginger, which makes the perfume even more versatile for the Brazilian climate. For me, Dior Homme 2020 would be "the" versatile contemporary perfume for a climate that can reach, say, up to 25 degrees Celsius, suitable for both day and night use, for formal occasions or casual outings. Homem Essence follows this but opens up a bit on "comfort" and depth, remaining suitable for hotter climates in the north and northeast. Edit: I noticed something in its opening that reminds me of the traditional Kaiak, a bergamot with something blue that I don't like very much.

aqui é um perfume que te rende elogios fáceis, se voce usar em lugares climatizados. usei ele na escola e la nao tem ar condicionado, acabou que me incomodou, mesmo usando poucas borrifadas. Muitas reviews no tik tok falando da sua versatilidade e eu nao acho ele um bom perfume para chamar de "versatil", de noite ele sempre cai muito bem, mas de dia desanda bastante. ele abre com um frescor levemente amadeirado que evolui para um âmbarado muito forte, que se sobressai muito no perfume e ofusca qualquer outra nota, isso me incomodou um pouco vendo que a proposta dele é ser um perfume versátil e assinatura, se a proposta fosse ser um perfume noturno e formal seria impecável. Nao recomendo blind, é um perfume básico mas que pode decepcionar..saiba bem como usar, no calor desanda e muito.

I don't understand the hype on this! Natura has better fragrances on the portifolio. Tons of Fresh spices, creamy woody and musky. A Little bit sweet at first spray, than becomes more spicy, mineral, and creamy, very comfy. Smells like body lotion (the creamy smell) Very linear and boring fragrance. It is an every day fragrance if the temperature is under 25oC, very good for office/AC. Easy a genderless fragrance. Weak performance for an EDP: longevity around 6 hours good sillage at first hour. It is a good option for blind buy if this is cheap price. I pass it, not for me (Thank god I blind bought the small bottle)

So fucking good. Mass appealing, fresh but not light, blue fragrance goodness with a strong ISO E SUPER note in the drydown that makes it super clean. The only thing that keeps me from a 5/5 is the longevity. Wish it lasted longer but it is still a good cheaper alternative to BDC.

Eu gosto muito, tem um cheiro confortável! É muito versátil, da para usar em várias ocasiões. Eu não sei o porque mas se eu fosse falar o que esse perfume seria, eu diria que seria um sofá extremamente confortável, aqueles vem fofinhos, cheirosos, que te confortam.

Fragrancia realmente amadeirada, é simples e gostoso. Vai ser sufocante se usar no calor. Eu testei e durou muito, recebi elogios quando utilizei. Teria com certeza se não fosse pelo preço, uma fragância nacional e simples como esta deveria custar metade do preço.

A fragrância é realmente boa, fresca, ótima para o dia a dia e verão, principalmente no calor de nosso país tropical. Porém, na minha pele dura muito pouco, não chega a durar 3 horas, é uma pena.

Reminds me of bleu de chanel EDP. But less quality... and no incense... good, but such less interesting then bleu de chanel

Definitely reminds me of original JPG Le Male. This is somehow sweet to my nose. Might be the cashmere and cinnamon. I get all the citrus up front which eventually goes away. Stays aromatic and woody. Performance is insane on my skin and clothing. I was looking for something fresher and lighter but I guess that boils down to personal preference. I have plenty of sweet and spicy frags but I still wouldn't consider this redundant. It does its own thing while still pulling off a vintage smell. This is an aroma that takes me back to a happy memory of my childhood Edit: I just put on a hoodie which is sprayed this on a couple days ago. I was stunned at how feminine it smelled. Reminded me of my grandma, girlfriend confirmed. Old woman. That was the happy childhood memory lol, my grandma

My wife LOVES this. I can barely smell it, but it seems people love it in general. Not for me though... I go either noseblind to it or the musk choice just kills it for me. I had the same feeling with Narciso Bleu Noir EDP (which I returned after a few attempts). I smell it in the opening and fades right away. Other people pick it up on me during the day, though.

Excelente para uso diario. Lo evitaría solo en calor muy intenso y talvez en frío extremo dado que siento que para eso sí le falta potencia. Fresco atalcado con un toque medio frutal y amaderado que termina dando un dejo un poco dulce muy agradable. Buen precio aún en sus 100ML. Versátil, gusta. No sé le puede pedir mucho más. A mí parecer uno de los mejores aromas de catálogo Para el que eso le interese esto genera muchos halagos o cumplidos

Good performance but reminds me of a store scent. Nothing special but I understand its success on brazilian market due to performance and cost, although its price is getting higher

Essa fragrância é simplesmente incrível, você vai se sentir perfumado! O único problema é que depois de alguns minutos ele some (só para você), porque as pessoas ainda sentem.

Este perfume é realmente único. Não consigo ver semelhança com nenhum outro que conheço. Muito bom. Âmbar é seu forte.
