Homem Madeiras

Since it was launched, in 1997, the scent called Natura Homem spawned numerous versions (flankers) over the years: Homem Aurum, Homem Aurum Intenso, Homem Elemento, Homem Íon, Homem Zero Grau, Homem Nitro, Homem Nitro Intenso, etc. In 2015, already within the new packaging, with their new bottles and magnetic lid, was the time of Natura Homem Madeiras (which means, literally, Natura Man Woods). Natura Homem Madeiras is the highest representation of what people expect to feel when looking for a woody fragrance. In fact, I dare say that is one of the best men's fragrances from the House, especially if compared to the latest releases. Much has been speculated, but the official composition lists the following notes: bergamot, grapefruit, coriander, sage, elemi, cardamom, ginger and nutmeg, on top. Then, blond woods, violet, Iris and transparent floral accord, in the heart. The base combines notes of cedar from Virginia, cashmeran, labdanum, vetiver and an ambery complex. On the skin, the vetiver dictates the rules. There's a bit of aromatic nuances, you can notice the cardamom – intense and spicy –, as well as the violet, slightly sweetened. But the vetiver, embraced by nuances of other woods, insists in proving its power. At this point, many will be scared, for when it comes to a dominant vetiver, there is a tendency in compare any cologne with the controversial Encre Noire (Lalique). If this concern crossed your mind, you can relax. Natura Homem Madeiras is more balanced and less offensive. It has more similarity with Déclaration (Cartier) than with Encre Noire, known for its power and dryness. The break-even point is, precisely, in the heart of the fragrance, with its floral nuances. The ambery complex brings sensuality and the cashmere wood note gives comfort and a touch of silkiness. It has good projection, exuding for about two hours and losing strength over time. On my skin, it lasted about seven hours. To finish, I can say this: fans of woody fragrances will fall in love with this creation (men or women). But the worshipers of perfumes with vetiver are forced to meet it! The Natura brand, via its perfumer Verônica Kato, is to be congratulated, because Natura Homem Madeiras has high quality and shows no synthetic content, getting on a par with any most expensive imported fragrance. Pleasant surprise.

Heavy woody fragrance! Don't be fooled by this blue bottle. Woody, earthy, aromatic and citrous. Yes it shares some similarity to Terre de Hermes. Too synthetic for me. And there is some note that makes this fragrance cloying. Homem Madeiras has a powerful performance: Easily 9-12 hours on my skin and strong sillage Obs: It gives me nauseous and headache if I overspray this. It is a safe blind buy but be caution to not overspraying this.

Cheiro de serragem, pinheiro, madeira forte, tabaco e cigarro, é perfume de homem viril e sem frescura. Gosto bastante principalmente da evolução dele, gostaria que durasse mais na pele. Cheira a homem no seu escritório la pra umas 20h30, fumando um cigarro depois de um dia cansativo de trabalho. Aroma: 8/10 Perfomance: 6/10
