Maracujá Natureza dos Sonhos

I am IN LOVE! As of my a teens (nearly 30 years ago), Natura has always been a staple brand for cosmetics and perfumes. I wore Eau de L'arc! When the Ekos line came out... OMG! It was just too good to be true. My favourites were (past tense; I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole today, so headache inducing they are to me) the original Pitanga, Pitanga Preta, Cheiro de Moça, Breu Branco and Priprioca. My sister loved Cacau, Castanha and Maracujá, none of which I could stand. The original Maracujá has always been so soapy, sweet, and sticky... Overbearing, really. Too much for this weather! But there was no running from it! People EVERYWHERE still wear it and love it today. It was always nauseating to me, which bothers me a lot, since so many people I know love and wear it. I felt bad I could never bring myself to like it, as hard as I tried. Well, I spent a few months away from Brazil (2023-2024) and upon coming back I learnt Natura had released a new interpretation of the old Maracujá. I didn't even bat an eye. But I was curious, as I always am, so I went ahead and allowed myself to smell it. And I am lost forever! LOL! This is the most perfect creation the Ekos line has had EVER, I daresay. This is the passion fruit scent I have always wished for. It's fruity, floral, herbal and woody all at once. It really captures the plant as a whole, leaves, flowers and fruit. It's a delicious sugar-free scent, perfect for any Brazilian weather, classy, clean, comfortable, comforting and addictive. It behaves beautifully on my skin, coming out with all the tartness of a freshly-cut plump yellow passion fruit, evolving to a herbal floral scent, reminiscing of the plant itself (which I know only because we had some at home), ending up in this beautiful tart fruity musky clean skin scent. I am sold, captivated, and I have already bought a back-up bottle just to make sure I can enjoy it a little longer in case they discontinue it, as it is a special edition. Anyone out there loving it too?

I blind bought this today and it is smell so good! So fresh, green, natural, so unique. A sour start with a punch of herbals and flower base. Very linear. But it has a very poor performance, worst than many body splash. 1-2 hours of longevity and weak sillage. Shame! It is a great perfume with a very bad performance.

Today, I find it an extremely pleasant fragrance: refreshing, green, sharp, and perfect for everyday wear. The passion fruit appears in a brighter, tangier facet, blending perfectly with the green notes and giving a lot of prominence to the fresher side of the fragrance. Like almost all fragrances from the line, it develops that delicious soapy quality — the scent of clean, comfortable, freshly showered skin. As a signature scent, it’s wonderful, especially because the longevity performs very well for the price. And the body lotion from this line? Absolutely delicious.

This is more unisex than the original maracuyá. More citrusy and kinda woody. Smells fresh, something you'd splash after a shower in mid July. I love the tropicality in it. And natura never disappoints. Makes you feel in the middle of a forest . I have the soap, lotion and body spray and it's not of my taste since I find it more male leaning but still smells clean and fresh.
