Midnight Voyage

This does not smell anything like Sauvage, now that it's out of the way here is the review: Opening: Very clean and minty, almost ethereal. Still grounded by a masculine peppery kind of scent, like a very refined/expensive version of a gym spray. Very well done and best in class for the money, many people will love this. Drydown: As it dries down the amber starts to really take shape and a even more masculine, dark oceanic sailboat vibe comes through sitting close to the skin. A warm clean clothes mixed with a manly tone comes through. The pepper in the opening is also warmed up a bit and the bite is toned down. Very pleasing opening and drydown. Longevity: In total it lasts about 3-4.5 hours on my skin and you will need to re-apply to get any compliments. Projection is solid for first 30-45 minutes then tapes off slowly. Conclusion: This scent was the first time I had been complimented, and is by a LANDSLIDE the best Nautica voyage fragrance in the line. Recieved original Voyage over Christmas which ended up being a huge letdown. For the money this is a must buy, you can test this fragrance at Kohl's. If you like modern clean scents please buy this over original Voyage. 8.0/10 - Longevity is Poor, Scent is Amazing.

Nautica midnight voyage, a really great diversion of the original and other lines and the most superior but some times performance a hit or miss if its in cold weather or chilly it can perform long or midly in hot weather its weak but performs better than original voyage and i would honestly prefer this than the originals and the other variants, smell wise: it has DNA to prada carbon/sauvage and azarro edp/nautica blue sail, the only thing that it doesnt copy from the original voyage is the salt and cucomber its just rather like blueberrys,juniper berrys, amber, star anise, lavender, its great i recommend

Found on sale for $10 at Walmart and picked it up despite knowing nothing about it. I agree with others that it smells similar to both Luna Rossa Carbon and Sauvage. Probably closer to Carbon with a hint of original Voyage mixed in. Despite the fact that I'm not a fan of Sauvage, Carbon, or the original Voyage- I actually like this one quite a bit. Not exactly sure why that is, but I think there are just some notes in those others that I don't like that aren't present here, while still maintaining a similar vibe. For me it doesn't have much projection, but it does last a fairly long time on my skin.

This is a great smelling and affordable blue fragrance for everyday wear. I like it more than Sauvage. To me, Sauvage is quite sharp. Midnight Voyage is very pleasant and doesn't smell nearly as green as Voyage, which I especially like. (I am not a fan of overly green fragrances.) As of May 19 2020 it is 20% off at Walgreens - I paid $28. If you don't want to wait until it hits the discount stores, I think this fragrance is worth $28 for a 1.6oz EDT.

When you think of a flanker to an aquatic freshie, amber does not come to mind. It however is a somewhat complex fragrance for the cost. Speaking of cost, if you want to project, feel free to douse yourself because this is usually found at a very good price at various discounters. You really can't go wrong with this for what I would call a winter freshie.

This is incredible stuff. One of my top smelling colognes... and I have colognes that are 10x the price. I picked up a girl the other day, and my car smelled like ****. I had a bottle of this in my glove box, and I sprayed it on me and my seat before she got in and she was all over me. Just sayin.

Yup. Can't go wrong here. Has a unique, bright opening and dry down. Gives me a couple hours of solid performance. Really enjoying this flanker, I also love the original voyage for the summers down here in Florida. Will be interested to see how this one fares in the oppressive Florida summers

Side by side with YSL Y Parfum, it is very close in the opening. It doesn't project as well but for less than half the cost, I'd say this is a very safe blind buy. You aren't going to be blown away by its uniqueness, but it is a really pleasant scent suitable for any occasion.

Midnight Voyage smells like a perfect blend of Dior Sauvage and the original Nautica Voyage. The opening smells like a not-so-sharp Sauvage and dries down to smell like the OG Voyage. I like to call it my safe for work Sauvage! Great cheapie if you can find it.

I am really surprised with this fragrance it's smells super clean, fresh and masculine, the opening is ok, but the dry down is the main show the dry down is amazing it smells awesome, I bought this for 26 dollars at Walmart I'm very happy with this purchase.

smells much better than the original voyage but has weaker performance. still lasts around 7 hours as a skin scent, so not too bad. the amber note gives it a unique comfort that i haven’t really found in the other voyage flankers i’ve tried

Top note might smell synthetic at first, but the base note smells sweet and fresh. Not too overpowering, lasts around 8 hours and second spray might be needed for your usage. Would recommend.

This is a sweeter, more creative version of the original voyage. Whenever I smell it, it brings back the best summer memories. Great pickup from a discounter.

No. This does not smell like Sauvage. Yes. This does smell like Nautica trying to make a modern "blue" fragrance. They definitely took the original Voyage and tweeked it to turn it into a fragrance in the style of Sauvage. But no, it doesn't smell like Sauvage. I'd say it's closer to Dylan Blue, which it also does not smell like. Not does it smell like the original Voyage. But you'll get that feel. Where the original Voyage is like a "light blue" fragrance. This is a bit darker. I guess just look at the juice colors. I guess the name is perfect. It's the darker version of Voyage. I get decent longevity with this. But projection kind of sucks. Try before you buy, but I think it's worth a pick up.

Happy I found this one at Kohl’s. More of an office appropriate blend of Sauvage & Dylan blue. It doesn’t jump off the skin. It has a clean refreshing pepper & ambroxan slightly darker take on Voyage. Lasts a good 5-7 hours depending on sprays, basically skin scent after 1-2 hours max with slight projection. I’m about it. I was never a huge fan of the original voyage. Sauvage EDP is my favorite, but can’t rock that to work. Too loud for me. This is great. Luna Rosa Carbon is nice as well, but this is a good aquatic take on the above mentioned smell over soapy which I prefer. Solid cologne & pickup.

This is alright. Smells like a basic, powdery and musky blue. It's aquatic and light, some say it's the dior savauge flanker of nautica voyage. But for 35 bucks, you're only getting 50ml. I only got this because it came with a bundle deal from a seller, so I don't reget buying it. Would I get it again? Nah. For 35 bucks, you could get some incredible, unique and long lasting middle eastern fragrances. This is just kinda underwhelming. Overall rating: 5/10. Smells like any basic mens bodyspray, and has the longevity of one as well. I much prefer the OG nautica voyage and voyage heritage to this.

This is a nice flanker, definitely trying to push into the ambroxan/amber zone to steal a bit of the market share from Sauvage-type fragrances. It is pleasant, reasonably-priced, different enough from the OG not to be redundant. For my money, though, I would recommend Karl Lagerfeld Bois d'Ambre, which is in the same price range but is a bit closer to La Nuit de L'Homme, smells more "intentional" (as opposed to a "what kind of twist can we add to the next flanker"), of higher quality and better performance. But if you have a strong loyalty to the Voyage line, this one will work well for you.

Now this one gets quite a bit of hate, in my opinion this is an amazing flanker! got it as a gift for christmas and i was suprised. I didn’t have high hopes for it but when i first smelt it i liked it alot. It opens with a fresh smooth aquatic amber smell, very nice mix that gets hated for some reason. It’s a pretty linear scent it doesn’t change to much throughout the few hours it lasts. it just gets a little softer and less ambery as time goes on. it’s a nice summer cheapie that i recommend trying to find for atleast $15 - $25 max.

It’s an interesting fragrance. I don’t get super performance out of it, but for about a half hour it projects pretty well. The pink pepper kicks in nicely at the dry down, the opening just makes me feel like I’m watching the moon rise off the back of a sail boat. Overall I really enjoy it. Not my everyday scent. I don’t feel this an all year scent, but a nice every once in a while scent for me. I’m really glad I picked it up while on sale. I might explore some of the other nautica options just to compare them to this.

This leans a lot more towards Luna Rossa Carbon. For me the opening and first 30 minutes are original Voyage and Dylan Blue, just missing the bergamot. For that reason I saw no reason to get it back in 2020. Then I got a 50ml bottle together with original Blue Nautica for $4 (clearance gift set), why not. An hour in, the projection it’s close to skin and the dry down is a subdued Luna Rossa Carbon. About 70% Carbon and the original voyage. Safe easy reach if under $20 .

This is a pretty good fragrance. Fresh, clean and cheap although I prefer the regular voyage. This honestly to me smells like the original fragrance just simplified. No green apple or anything. Just a kind of sweet, wet smell. Reminds me of bubble gum honestly XD. Still good though I didn’t feel like I wasted anything. It does dry down to a woody smell. Overall it is good, just nothing special compared to the original.

I haven’t had this cologne in so long that I couldn’t even tell how it smells anymore. What I do remember is that I was living in Florida, and it was probably my second ever cologne. It got me through life—such a great, inexpensive first cologne, perfect for swimming, boating, hot days, and things like that If I had to rate it, I’d give it an 8/10.

This isn't bad. It's not much of a flanker though as I don't smell the OG Nautica Voyage within this. Like other reviewers stated, I see the slight resemblance to Prada Luna Rossa Carbon. However it fades quick. Safe blind buy.

to me this scent reminds me of a city night in New York city looking at the lights surrounding me I think this cologne doesn't last that long but its very nice

The peppery opening kind of fades quickly, but the ambery drydown is amazing. Reminds me of a relaxing rainy day.

Great cheap fragrance, better than voyage in my opinion. Fresh ambers fragrance

This cologne resembles Armaf hunter intense. Which makes sense because Hunter intense is a blend of sauvage and invictus. I would rather buy that instead of this because of the performance and price. Hunter $20 for 3.4 and beast where náutica $25 for 1.6 and decent performance. Don’t get me wrong, it smells great. I’d buy for gym or quick run if it was the same price as the OG.

My favorite flanker in the Nautica Voyage line! It has that fresh aquatic aspect that most love in the original but not quite as energetic, most likely due to the Amber note. Honestly, I have not been impressed by most of the flankers in this line but this one is amazing. It's just a shame that I could only find a 50ml bottle.

Interesting how wrong they got the note breakdown, I checked the Nautica website,and it has cardamom, pineapple, bergamot, ambroxon. I'll update when I get the fragrance, to see whether fragrantica's note breakdown is as accurate as the official breakdown.

Glad I smelled it before buying it, it smells so boring, like the og voyage, if anything worse, don't waste your money 5/10

This is the reason why fresh / watery notes + sweet ambery notes doesn't go together It just makes a mass It's not particularly bad, tries to capture a midnight summer beach vibe with warm breeze but it loses the concept of fresh watery vibe completely as it transfuses minty fresh vibe into sudden heavier ambery notes, it just loses the point. It reminds of smelling a quality peppermint candy in a hot day but would I find an occasion to wear it? dunt think so Im passing this

This scent is unbelievably unremarkable. Really harsh opening that I am not a fan of at all. Synthetic smell that smells just like the price tag, cheap. The dry down smoothens it a bit but it's still not great. I wouldn't clown anyone for wearing it, I just wouldn't ever wear it or recommend anyone else to for that matter. I'd recommend saving up a bit more and exploring other options. However, even at the price tag there are FAR better fragrances. Scent - 5.1 Longevity - 4.4 Sillage - 4.9 Value - 7.2

Amber? What? I was expecting something aquatic and fresh but instead leans heavily into a synthetic, deodorant-like profile and i'm not surprised it's mint, it's that masculine kind of minty fragrance but it doesn't smell fresh or toothpaste-y i suppose that's something. This fragrance is decent, but ultimately underwhelming. Dollar store body spray, and you will smell like it too.

Picked this one up because I had some extra Kohls cash to blow. I didn't read close enough to see this is only a 1.6 oz instead of a 3.4 like I was expecting. While it's in the same family of your Sauvage like ambrox frags, this one is not a bomb and is very much it's own fragrance. This is a lighter and very linear/uncomplicated ambrox that is more office safe which I actually prefer. The sprayer on mine was one of the worst I have ever seen but I may have just received one that was jacked up. Longevity could have been better and projection is less on this one than the original Nautica Voyage. OG Voyage is still the king but this is a decent offering if you are in the market for a tame ambrox freshie. 7/10

bought the 50ml a while ago as a first fragrance, it smells alright but it performs horribly, lasts about an hour or two on me. i have used it alot and have only had one person compliment it, well, they actually more complained, they were giving out about the strong smell in their house. the only other time i was "complimented" was by close friends always saying i smell nice. in conclusion, i wouldnt really recommend it, you could probably save up a bit more money and buy something else like Versace Dylan Blue, smells more expensive and has better projection and longevity. Its alright as a very casual fragrance, or a first fragrance. 3/10.

Nice it's Nautica Voyage without the apple; plus a big, big dose of shower gel ambery-ambroxan. Performance is moderate/low- less than regular Nautica Voyage. This is screechy synthetic (causes a dizzy head) more so than regular Nautica Voyage. This resembles Aqva Atlantiqve. ***Not a clone***. The original Nautica voyage doesn't have the amber shower gel vibe that Atlantiqve has. But Midnight Voyage does, thus pushing it into the same genre as Atlantiqve (shower gel aquatics). Perhaps 70% close in terms of DNA- I'd argue it could scratch an itch. But nowhere near in terms of performance.

Honestly this is leagues above the classic voyage I have no idea how this doesn’t have more recognition for the price, if it was Dior or some other famous designer brand it would have way more hype. My only grip the longevity but this can be avoided by over spraying. This has such a sexy date night smell but is still very fresh and light which makes it perfect for the gym or a very hot day. Would recommended, has the voyage dna with a more alluring twist.

I was looking for a decent high heat cheapo so decided to try this. 95% Coach Blue with 5% Nautica Voyage. A little more complex than it seems at first sniff. Definitely a citrus note in here that isn't listed. Not as good as OG Voyage, smells a little cheap tbh but not bad. Very linear, you've probably smelled 100 fragrances like this already but I have a small collection and this works for me. Best i can give this is 6/10 for now.

As of right now the only place it’s on sale is Kohl’s in the US. I took a chance and bought a 50 ml bottle for $35. It’s another sauvage clone. I will say this... I like it more than Sauvage... and once it gets to discount stores (should only be a couple months) this will be a no brainer blind buy if you like sauvage. It’s different enough that even if you do have the $100 bottle of Dior, you can justify buying this!

The best thing nautica have put out in years.performs and projects on my skin for about 4 hours a time. It's not as sweet or soapy as the original therefore I have worn it more.you massive flanker I titter ye not. Update, it's very close to n-83 just smoother and a bit more fruity than synthetic smelling.finally available in England from NOTINO.

I don't think it smells like Sauvage, though I seem to have problems smelling ambroxan-heavy fragrances. This is neither a like nor a dislike for me. It's just...completely nondescript. It's fresh, clean, and...and that's it, like your typical Nautica fragrance. Strongly lacking in identity. I would stick with the original Voyage.

If you spray one spray of Voyage on you then spray one spray of sauvage you get Midnight Voyage. It’s fresh and clean and just very ok. I’ll wear this occasionally but it’s definitely just.....ok. If your one of those sauvage diehards you will LOVE this though.

Like I noted with Nautica Blue longevity and scent, Midnight Voyage has a nice scent but EXTREAMLY weak... I wouldn't spend 20 USD on this at all... Not suitable for people who are seeking mostly longevity...

You just found yourself the cut price version of Prada Luna Rossa Carbon. Possibly a bit less longevity with the Nautica Midnight Voyage. Otherwise, practically identical.
