Voyage Intense

It's early, of course, but I love it because I love voyage, first of all. To me at this point in time, I can sum it up as voyage with a base of a leathery sweetness that reminds me of CH men (though it smells nothing like CH men). The sweetness and leather in there reminds me of CH men in an incredibly subtle way, but it maintains the fresh, slightly soapy aquatic vibe of voyage. To me, this is strange mix, but it might appeal to some. I don't believe in even factoring price into rating a fragrance, because we're here to smell the best we can, and most of us are willing to scrape up a few bucks to get something that will turn heads. That being said, this being so cheap is a bonus, but it is likely that you can do better unless this sounds like your vibe. If so, Voyage Intense is remarkably well done for its price, and I recommend anyone who loves voyage like I do should give it a shot. I'm not really into sweet frags at the moment, and the reason I got this so fast is because it just so happens that voyage and abercrombie fierce/fierce intense are my scents of choice at the moment, because I work at a hospital and need things that are fresh and can be worn subtly (and while I own a library of freshies and everything else, ironically voyage remains one of my top favorites with its unique aquatic and fresh vibe that smells normal and nets compliments). Side note: I think that voyage body spray that you can get at walmart is the best smelling version of this fragrance lol. Its just got a little something extra that smells so damn good. Maybe it's just the deoderant chemical mess that makes it smell so good, but it smells DAMN good. All that aside, voyage intense is an odd synthesis with its combination of sweet, woody, and aquatic, but if you're even interested, I'd say do it up, what the hell. EDIT: This stuff also has a super sick pressurized atomizer. Nice. And in spite of it being a strange concept for a fragrance, on second blush it does smell really good. I'm givin it a thumbs up and anyone liking voyage should go for it.

Price point wise its just not as good as the first, however i'd say that the scent is enough to justify the purchase (if you can get it for $25 USD or less). When smelling voyage intense i'm instantly brought back to the original voyage DNA but the cucumber note has been almost completely removed. Its a little more mature/smooth and honestly the dry down is incredible. This smells like what i wanted the original voyage to smell like. Perfect intense flanker to the original, performance still isn't the best since it's still a EDT concentration, but thats not a huge problem since i usually just bring a travel size 2ml with me whenever going out with any fragrance to re-apply.

I was a huge fan/user of Voyage from 2006-2015 so seeing this release at the same price point made it a must buy. It's Voyage but without the cucumber. It deepens the notes Voyage has and truly feels like an actual Voyage flanker unlike the countless flankers that came before it. I personally don't pick up on any leather notes. Overall a more mature Voyage. This was the right move by Nautica and should have been done long ago. Performance is just a bit better than Voyage but by no means amazing. For the price it's worth a try and for the Voyage fan this is certainly something you will enjoy.

I would say after giving this a full wear, i question people who say this is no different than Nautica Voyage. This is certainly a more mature, fresher, cleaner version. It is much more powerful, on the edge of beast mode. And it smells fantastic. I thought I liked Voyage, but this is an upgrade. And somehow, they maintained the affordability. Some say Voyage is an iconic fragrance. I say this is the new king. Try it. You won't regret it.

This is just damn good. As a fan of the previous iterations from Nautica, and as someone who started wearing Nautica back in the 90's alongside many other OG's, this stuff is just great. Nothing much more to say, really? If you like the DNA this should be a no-brainer.

Smells similar to the OG with less of a cucumber vibe. Pretty strong too! Gonna let it sit until next summer and throw it in the rotation. I'm really liking it on first impression!

So, where to begin with Nautica Voyage Intense? For starters, I like it very much. Definitely like the OG, which just goes to show everyone that Coty could have ramped up the projection of this fragrance anytime they wanted to because they did. This is very much like the OG Voyage, so if you're into that, than this is for you. Beautiful apple dominant with a more ramped up lotus scent. Still watery but subdued just a tad. Spray too much and it's headache inducing. What I like about it is that a little goes a long way. I get a little leather, but not much. More so on the vetiver. The fragrance starts out beautifully with the apple-mint accord, then comes the lotus and nuanced leathery scent along with being backed up by the vetiver. Coty did an excellent job with this one. The bottle is only available in the 50ml on Amazon for $21 with a digital coupon. Why 50ml ? Probably to not interfere with the hottest selling 3.5oz selling on Amazon currently; Nautica Voyage. So, there you have it. As for longevity, it appears to me to last all day on clothing, about a good 12+ hours on my shirts. As for my body, I get about 7+ hours, sillage is 3-5 feet for the first 2.5 hours, then I get a scent bubble from there on. So, all in all, I give Nautica Voyage Intense a solid 9.5 out of 10. The half point loss is that my bottle appears to have just a slight leakage, let's hope it's just my bottle. Anyway, Well done Coty, well done! 👍👍👍

I'm not sure this is a more "Intense " version of Nautical Voyage but rather an EDP version as that's how it wears on my skin. Nautica voyage opens up very fresh,airy, watery, and green from that green apple. It smells very similar to what you get in a fresh/fruity fabric softener. Very simple,but also very mass appealing and one of the safest scent profiles I own. This is simply pleasant done to perfection !!! If you have smelled the OG Nautical Voyage this smells almost identical but it's not as watery but it is a bit more dense and warm in comparison to the OG. I actually prefer this version !!! Performance on this is excellent as it lasts 8-10 hours with decent projection for 1 hour before dying down to a nice scent bubble. This is my go to work scent as a personal trainer !! Performance on this is overall better than the OG but the OG projected just a little bit louder than this. Overall rating - 7.75 out of 10 ! In between a like and a love for me but loves are reserved for my top tier frags and although it's my top tier work fragrance it's not a top tier all time fragrance. But honestly one of the best bang for your buck fragrances of all time.

Almost the exact as the original except with an added soft leather note and less apple and the sharpness from the cucumber. I'm comparing one on each arm. original is very cucumbery, the Intense is soft powdered apple so I'd assume more coumarin/tonka. The leather is very soft but noticeable (not like Kenzo or Bisch style). Almost like smelling the backside of a new belt. The original is more fruity and vibrant. Both are good. Both have great prices. It's a slightly more mature version. if you already own the original, you don't really have a need for this one tbh. Drydowns are very similar as well. Intense could be used year round but I suppose Spring might be best, even early Fall.

The presentation is a downgrade from the original. I would say that is the ONLY downgrade from the original. I would say this scent is more mature, lasts TWICE as long as, and the atomizer is a huge upgrade from the nautica voyage. This scent is a bit more versatile than the OG in my opinion, and could be worn late spring to early fall, day or night whereas the original is pretty specifically a daytime summer, or gym scent. Now that the retailer markups are calming down I would rate this a safe blind buy, and a great overall value.

Actually I feel like this fragrance resembles Salvatore ferragamo incanto pour homme blue alittle more then it does the nautica voyage. But they all three share similar qualities. Pretty good fragrance, would say somewhat redundant from having nautica voyage but the leather note is what makes this stand out and pushing it more to give it more depth which I like.

Picked this up for $20 and my local Shopper's drug mart. It's nice, but I wouldn't pay more than what I got it for. It's basically Nautica Voyage if you toned down the water notes and replaced them with some generic woods. If you like Nautica Voyage, this is a more mature and slightly better lasting version of it

What is this? Nautica voyage went from an icon in vintage formulation to a bargain bin cheapie. All because of greed and mismanagement. What a disgrace This is no different than regular Voyage in current formulation. The miniscule tweak isn't noticeable This should be free

Just got it. It’s 90-95% similar to the original. Less musky, slightly darker/thicker. Very redundant. Smells good but don’t get it for more than $20

The original is known for its fresh clean take that stands out due to unique cucumber and melon notes that separate it from other "blue freshies" on the market. Voyager Intense improves upon that by adding in some deeper notes, including powdery, smoky, woody, apple, lavender, vetiver, soapy aldehyde and very, very light leathery aromas. The result is indeed a more intense version of the original. Performance is notably stronger thanks to the presence of more soapy aldehydes which you will notice right away. Unfortunately, the pleasant light leather note also dissipates pretty much upon contact as the other notes overwhelm it. Still, this is a pretty good improvement upon the original and fans of it and "blue freshies" in general will definitely enjoy this. This is good for all ages and will serve best in warmer climates and outdoor activities. It's extremely affordable and overdelivers on the price point. The major issue that it faces is that there's a boatload of competition in its market -- including way too many flankers in its own line that dilute its value and put together start to become indistinguishable from each other. Notwithstanding, this is a very good fragrance and the value can't be beat. Recommended.

Never was a fan of the Voyage line. Not because I disliked it immensely or anything, the fragrance itself just never resonated with me. However, I do love the bottle, packaging, and even the marketing of it... came across as "yacht club chic" to me. I'll definitely give this a try because I see they are marketing it to both men and women—at least that's what Fragrantica's listing states. If that's true, it's nice to see a designer-based fragrance stepping outside of the box just a bit and trying something different with an already established fragrance franchise. They could have just created yet another (yawn!) flanker just for men, but opted not to. Nautica deserves credit for that in my books! Looking forward to trying this, and maybe Voyage Intense will be the one that "puts the wind in my sail" and "floats my boat!"

Should have been called voyage tame , because that strong aqua smell of the original is watered down a replaced with a leathery note , and it's definitely not as strong as midnight voyage.i got it for £45 from onbuy.com.it took two weeks from USA to England.The bottle is really cheap and leaks a bit to begin with because of having to yank the tight plastic cap off and just having a sticker on the front makes this the cheapest and tackiest looking bottle of nautica I have ever bought. Christ it might make want to like voyage sport and I have always been unsure of that scent.please nautica put something more original out next time at least with nautica life in 2014 you got something different to another voyage variation in smell and bottle design.

Ive owned over 90 fragrances off and on and this stuff is among the smoothest and most pleasant smelling ones I've tried... and for 25$. It is just so nice. Hard not to love this one. And a definite improvement on the original in my opinion. And It doesn't smell like leather whatsoever if that is stopping you from pulling the trigger. If this came in a $200 bottle I think I'd be like, Yup smells smooth and expensive alright. Crazy value.
