Aubade

I guess I should start by saying that this review is for Lyrik, being that I’ve read this had its name changed. This smells awesome. The way this smells is so unique it’s hard for me to describe. To me it has this slight fruitiness that is made sexy for men. That’s the best way I can describe this lol. The performance is very good. I get a strong and lasting projection that will easily battle air rights with heavy hitters like Oud Satin Mood. Side note: My fiancé and I were traveling in the car I could easily smell both of our fragrance when I was wearing this. And this lasts an entire day. To me this is THE BEST men’s fragrance from this brand and this is the only one I would consider buying a full bottle.

I'm still somewhat new to the world of fragrances, I currently have 30+ fragrances in my collection. I was excited about this because I love The Bowtie Fragrance Guy's content and have grown to trust his nose based on the recommendations I've purchased. I wasn't expecting to be blown away but man oh man this Fragrance is FIRE. It starts with a strong fresh spicy citrusy bergamot that last about the first 5+ hrs, then it dies down to a skin scent and just when you think its done at the 6-7 hr mark it comes back with a sweet almond/ toffee blend thats to Die for. This is really a fragrance that does Both/ Signature Scent Worthy and a new personal favorite

10 out of 10! Blind buy worthy. Great projection and longevity. This is my most complimented fall and winter fragrance. I agree there is some similarities to Pegasus and imo more so Exclusif. Most notably almond, slight touches of non indolic Jasmine, an airiness quality, and “woodiness” that deepens in the dry down. Beyond that Aubade/Lyrik veers onto its on path. The opening is brighter/uplifting, transitions smoothly into a seductive not overly sweet semi gourmand. This is a perfect date night fragrance, exudes confidence, refinement and class without arrogance. This is a “show stopper”!

Spicy and aromatic opening with a lightly sweetened lemon and cardamom, becomes a powdery almond-toffee delight with a slight cinnamon kick. I can see the powderiness of the almond lending to a Pegasus-comparison, but they're not identical. This is a great autumnal scent, I'd wear this during winter as well. Cool spring days would work as well. Major sillage, this is quite loud on the skin and even more so on clothes, definitely leaves a noticeable trail.

This is great and signature scent worthy for sure. I don't see the Pegasus resemblance at all. They share almond notes but this is definitely its own thing. Amazing from opening to dry down with a nice light tobacco and almond blend just amazing and the longevity (depending on skin type) is awesome for me. I applied 6 sprays around 8 am and it was still in the air around 6 pm so this is one you need to have.

Initially I only wore this in the ❄️cool/cold Ohio months and then it was ok. Last year I tried it in the 🍃🌿Spring and WOW 😍 it seemed to just come alive. The almond accord puts me in a PDM Pegasus state of mind. It’s 65°F today and its wearing quite nice. This (along with Serenade) is my first and only blind buy. It was a good decision!

Aubade and Pegasus share some similarities, but I prefer Aubade. The transition from fresh-aromatic opening to sweet-and-warm dry down keeps me coming back, and it's very versatile. Signature worthy, this works well in all seasons and just about all scenarios, with the exception of the workplace due to its sweetness. 8/10

This Parfum is amazing it starts out like a citrus gourmand with a hint of pepper. This is definitely a signature scent you can dress it up or down. You can smell the sillage about 6 feet away and it can last up to 12 hours on skin. I have gotten plenty of compliments in a short period of time wearing this fragrance.

Purchased this fragrance about a month ago. Although a lot of people claim it smells similar to PDM Pegasus I don’t really know and don’t care. This stuff is amazing. Every aspect of this fragrance is perfect. Very long lasting and it will fill up a room. Great job again Navitus.

I’ve actually been very interested in purchasing Aubade. Unfortunately it was sold out when I went to purchase it. And now it looks like Navitus completely removed it from the website. Does anyone know what the deal is?

Really great frag and this is coming from someone that hates overly-Gourmand perfumes. It leans a bit gourmand with that toffee ( sort of a Werther's Original accord ) but is also very fresh. 8.5/10

This stuff is good. I thought it smelled like the most wanted until you smell them side by side. The oil and ingredient quality is unquestionably superior in Aubade. A+

Navitus Parfums Aubade is one of the two releases from Navitus x Bowtie Fragrance Guy (along with Serenade), a semi-fresh, sweet, and spicy blend, a mix of citruses, spices, jasmine, almond, toffee, and olibanum, a smooth, Spicebomb-esque hot/cold blend of spices that feels quite versatile, perhaps (as the site suggests) like a signature scent. The sharper/spicier elements (almond, cinnamon, pepper, cardamom) are used in balance with some sweetness, but the sweetness is restrained, and that seems fitting as there are not too many listed sweet notes, perhaps just the almond and toffee. Overall, I quite like this entry, one of the house’s most versatile, a bit more of a natural-smelling and less-sweet cousin to Reve Nuit, which I prefer, but I suspect Aubade might very well work better for many more people. I do not regard it as boundary-pushing but rather a great execution of a positive amalgamation of ideas, with the most obvious reference being Spicebomb, but even a little bit of the sweetness of, say, Acqua di Parma Mandorlo di Sicilia (with the common prominent almond note). 7 out of 10

This is a very aromatic, spicy fragrance that is a touch powdery. The almond and cardamom are up in the forefront being lifted up by the caraway and pepper. Just like many other Navitus fragrances, after the first two most popular notes, I disagree with the votes. It is not till after I am looking past the sweet, spicy blend of the caraway and pepper, that I can then find a base of toffee and bergamot with a sprinkling of cinnamon, as it begins to dry down. This is one of those fragrances that I can appreciate and like the smell of but then not be wowed by it. This is one of those fragrances I can see people thinking to themselves "they smell good" but not being enthralled enough to give a compliment. This is one of those rare versatile, sweet scents that I would recommend to someone who doesn't want a daring fragrance but still wants a semi-gourmand. As a gourmand lover though, I wouldn't wear this.

A versatile sweet scent? Not a whole lot exist that can be worn year round but this is it. Performance is out of this world and the drydown is superb. It is almond heavy but the other spices play a big role. I am so happy that it's not funky as caraway usually gives off that vibe but it's toned way down here. Killer citrus opening and spicy/sweet drydown without a tobacco note... Well done!

This is beautiful in its composition, a jack of all trades, in the opening is warm and soft and a little sticky! And then its freshness appears making it a really versatile fragrance, high quality ingredientes in the right amount, 8 sprays across and mo cloyingness whatsoever! Maybe maybe the best of Navitus, a little bit of freshness, of gourmand-esque behaviour and sassyness! Congratulations Navitus.

Reminds me a lot of Azzaro most wanted, it's that toffee & cardamom combination...but also reminds me of CH bad boy EDT it's that citrus, vanilla & pepper combination
