Champagne Royale

The initial spray of this scent reminds me of YSL Y EDP. But once it settles, it turns into a deeper version of Y. It is only weaker. I do smell the champagne note and it's nice, but I can't not think of Y when I smell this. For the price with the performance and uniqueness I wouldn't recommend blind buying. But if you can get a sample or decant I think this is worth smelling if you don't have Y. It's quite weak. In the opening it starts out strong and gives you an arm's length bubble, but over an hour in, this sits close to the skin, I guess like popping a bottle of champagne. I believe the idea of this fragrance is awesome. I hope maybe someone will take this to the next level and develop the champagne note more. That would be really cool. Also, I love how the plum and geranium notes smell in this fragrance too.

I bought a decant of this based on the notes without reading reviews. I wish I had read them... maybe then I would have anticipated such a masculine scent. It smells good but also like a pretty generic mens' scent that you can find in a lot of places. Including mens' bodywashes and deodorants. I just expected something more feminine or at least unisex. Anybody can wear anything but I would categorize this as 100% male. Again, it smells good. I just feel like I wasted my money cause I bought it for myself and not a man. I'll give it to my bf I guess. Reminds me of a Polo Sport or something similat.

This one really reminds me of Mancera Aoud Orchid! It has the same Champagne and fizzy vibe at the beginning but the Mancera is synthetic and unbalanced! This Navitus has more depth more nuances and it is a jack of all trades, not my favorite from the brand but a good buy anyway.

I am very suspicious of my black and red sample sets. Maybe I just can't smell aventus perfumes (I have difficulty smelling mancera correctly, so..), but some of these smell nearly identical to others, and they just don't don't seem like they could be what is described in their own literature or the reviews of others. This just smells like a dark woody, barbershop, male aquatic. Dk..

It's not a bad fragrance, it's just that smells like a generic male cologne/deodorant (212 VIP, Invictus, Eros...) And it's quite expensive.
