Well this is just absolutely scrummy! A dry smokey oud with an addictive surrounding fruitiness. I want to bathe in this. It reminds me of Oud Rain by Renier, just a bit darker. Love this 👍🏻

I had to review, even though I’ll rate but typically not review if I only have a sample. But when I saw this at a 2.75 average, I had to. IMO, this is not a 2.75 fragrance. And the only reason I only gave it a 4 was based on price. I have to assume the lower votes were people who don’t like oud. Because if you like oud, I would have to think you’d rate this a 4 or 5. It’s well crafted. Instead of rose/oud, this one is geranium/oud. I don’t have the finely tuned nose that can pick up all the notes listed, but I clearly detect oud, floral and leather. This reminds me of a few other oud fragrances that I can’t quite place. And if it makes it to discounters, or I find someone selling a partial, I’d pick it up. I will not spend $295, though. I’m not saying it’s not worth it for some people, it’s just not for me. But I do think it’s a very nice fragrance for what it’s trying to be.

This is nice !! The base notes are here to stay but they are blended so beautifully (not in your face) I get some sweetness from the red fruits surrounded by the saffron, oud and smoke all joined together with some warm resinous amber (gives the fragrance that warm feeling) Unisex but I would prefer this on a man during cold weather.

I'm testing this blind from my ScentXplore bag. What I can say from wearing this scent a few days is that it morphs more than most, and far from a blind buy. Really recommend trying to this out. While I ultimately didn't like it, leaning slightly negative, others might adore where it ends. At first opening a get a bright aromatic, before morphing into an almost leather and floral rose quality, for 5 - 10 minutes. The oud then starts to surface from below, and there's another chapter where the oud has that cumin-like herby bend to it. This is not pleasant, but it is thankfully in passing, warming up and drying out. The result is a relatively nice leather and dry wood profile, but not my personal taste. Looking at the notes, I don't get any red fruit, and any amber seems very distant. If there's any smoke it's blown away, as the rest is a mild, but strongly projected kiln dried woody element, with hints of leather. The longevity is great, but the first 40 minutes or so is a varying uneven path that doesn't lead to anywhere significant, but a warm dry oven of wood and leather chips. A just leaning negative experience for me.

Tried the sample, not a fan. My wife smelled it, she wasn't either. What I will say is, it is a bit smokey, touch of spice and kind of floral. Try the sample before deciding but like I said, wasn't a fan. It's not bad, just not for a guy or for me in general.

I tried a sample of this fragrance and I really enjoyed it. It has a strong woody and smoky scent, but it's still refined and wearable. What I find interesting is that there's a freshness hidden behind these heavy notes. I'm curious to smell my wrist again and again when wearing this one. The fragrance profile reminds me of some Amouage fragrances, but this one is more refined than Loud. I appreciate its character, and originality. 7/10
