Exalt Nuit

Exalt Nuit is definitely a very dark fragrance, just like the bottle. There's no way you can miss the tobacco in this fragrance, but it's not a sweet tobacco like The One by D&G or Herod by PDM. The opening of this fragrance feels like a dark chocolate, almost bitter but alluring. the dry down smells like a wet, earthy tobacco. I believe it was one of the reviewers that described it best, the drydown feels very similar to carlisle by PDM but with the tobacco notes it makes the scent darker, and much more mysterious. I don't feel like this is a loud fragrance, not sure about the silage yet, maybe up to 2 or 3 feet. I feel like this works for this fragrance, it's not meant to be loud and announcing itself; but much more relaxed and wanting to be found. Definitely 8-10 hours. I don't see a young individual with this, just because of the tobacco scent, but much more of a 25+. I believe this is much more of a masculine scent. Not sure if this will be a crowed please like BDC or Profumo, i would lean more to the Niche frag head community. date night, relaxing night out at bar or winery. As weird as it sounds I can imagine a grown man smoking a cigar just catching up with friends; like the guy in the dos equis commercial lol This fragrance is definitely a keeper. I wouldn't say it's blind buy worthy because the fragrance is so dark, but if you like Herod, Carlisle, and Dark Phantom then this will be right up your alley.

Exalt Nuit is my first formal sampling of the Enamoured Collection from Navitus Parfums, curated by Buck of Big Beard Business. This is the fragrance from the collection that I had most highly anticipated based on both its notes and official description as well as early feedback from YouTube reviewers. It feels aptly named, conjuring nighttime exaltation with a blend featuring tobacco, resins, cocoa, anise, pepper, and vetiver. It feels like a sweet tobacco, but not as sweet as various other well-known sweet tobacco options (Pure Havane, Tobacco Vanille, Black to Black) and it does seem more varied, not strictly a sweet tobacco but a sweet tobacco mixed with spices and resins. The anise adds a bit of a bitter character, keeping it from being over-the-top sweet, due to the tobacco, patchouli, and vetiver, it’s not really gourmand. I like the blend overall as it’s classy and rich but not boastful or excessive in any one aspect. It feels carefully blended and the result very well could be a nighttime winter staple, especially apt for men, though ultimately fairly unisex since it’s sweet and multifaceted. The full pricing of the Enamoured Collection matches most of the earlier entries in the line, but is available only in the 100ml size for $195, currently with an “early sale” discount, available only through the Navitus website. 8 out of 10

This to me is a straight banger! It has this sort of wet earthy vibe from the vetiver, mixed with chocolate and tobacco. Man, this is just a stunner and I need another bottle of this. The presentation is great and the bottle has a nice matte black coloration. To me, this is unique and garners me tons and tons of compliments. Get this if you like tobacco, vetiver, and chocolate. Likely best suited for colder weather but one to two sprays max in heat...it's a monster performer.

This is my favorite of the Enamoured collection. I think I'll be picking up a full bottle one of these days.

This smells good. It's in the vibe of Red Tobacco, but with a chocolatey effect. It's very dark and seductive and alluring. This is a date night type of scent that I can see attracting attention if it's used in the right way. To me this is masculine, but I can see a woman wearing this as well.

This house has put out 46 frags in 5 years. A bit much? Reaching Montale/Mancera status but nowhere near DUA. I choose quantity over quality all day. This is pretty much a twist on the iconic Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille. That's fine as every house has this type of scent but not many have heard of this release judged by the reviews here. Some BBB fans have maybe sampled it as he is the voice behind the scent and perhaps a few lovers of Francis Kurkdjian but that's about it. It's by no means a clone as it is very dark and dry. As mentioned it's more of a subtle office friendly mature fragrance. No clubbing guys will wear this but I do see a father of 40+ going to his daughters graduation or out with the wife to an upscale night out extravaganza. It's nice to sample but not enough oomph to it for my liking. I will stick to my Haramain clone of Tobacco Vanille as it is much stronger and cheaper.

I dont know why, but cacao doesnt seem to work for me. The cacao here smells like patchouli/earthy woodsy. I basically get a petricore smell (smell of wet surface after the rain) from the patchouli with a slight resinous undertone. I personally dont like it.

I've had this bottle for almost 4 years now and it definitely deserves more love. I just need to remember where I tucked it away in my wardrobe! And sadly, not many recent reviews on it either. To my nose, Exalt Nuit is opulent, rich and subtly powdery, even as a male wearer. It shares a similar aura with PDM Carlisle, despite the note breakdowns being quite different. Perhaps it's the nutmeg that creates that familiar connection between the two. It's neither loud nor intrusive. Instead, it wears close to the skin with a regal, sophisticated presence that feels refined rather than attention-seeking.
