Intimus

Navitus Parfums Intimus is one of the original seven releases and one of my favorites of the initial launch, along with Absolutio. It’s fresh, sweet, floral, aquatic, and musky, a fitting mix of citruses, pink pepper, the subtle lily of the valley, the louder germanium, and a base of vanilla and woods, though I do not detect much of the patchouli and oakmoss, specifically, even after hours of wearing. It feels fairly sharp early on but it’s balanced well with the sweet and musk aspects, and the sweet and musky side of it comes out more over time. It’s year-round-friendly but provocative and interesting. It has a sort of aquatic saltiness to it that I cannot quite place, maybe something to do with the mix of pink pepper and geranium. It does foster some intimacy, as its name suggests, but I regard it as sophisticated in the way of a signature scent, balanced with some the playfulness of the sweet and fresh aspects. It feels very useful as both a daytime and nighttime scent, perhaps more so in cooler weather but I do not see this being overwhelming in the summer heat. I’ve seen some comparisons of Intimus to Jean Paul Gaultier Ultra Male but I find Intimus to be a little more nuanced, less blunt than the sweeter Ultra Male, more influenced by the florals and pink pepper. It projects fairly loudly for a couple of hours and then becomes more moderate, albeit still dense and rich closer to the skin. Predictably not as dense or loud as either Oud Luxuria or Oud Imperium but comparable to Absolutio, Intimus’ performance is quite strong. Priced at $195/135 for 100/50ml, though currently on sale on the Navitus website, it’s also sold at Perfumology and Osswald NYC in the US, and both stores are still operating their online shops currently. 8 out of 10

The opening cradles you with something very fresh, very sweet, but not too sweet. Within that initial first spray, there's a beautiful woody and vanila undertones, truly delicious to my nose. After settling for about 20-30 minutes, the sweetness is still there, however more of the vanilla, patchouli and woodiness seeps up. I'm normally one for leathery, woody fragrance, but recently I've been exploring some sweet scents too, and this is definitely something I like. Office setting, family dinner, date night - I can picture this scent, but oldont over spray, 3-4 would be good. 3 when the event starts, or you're attending one. 3 if you start somewhere in the morning and it's a whole day thing, maybe you'd want to touch up with a single spray halfway through the day.

This little gem is a whole bunch of fun. Delicious, sweet, fresh, and sexy. Navitus Absolutio has been compared to BR540 but I actually see more of a resemblance in Intimus. It's in no way a dupe but the whole cloud of sugar that surrounds you when wearing BR540 is present here. One of the things I have found with Navitus Parfums is that they are all complex, intriguing, intoxicating scents. This fits the bill. Fresh apple, sticky sugar, a perfect blending of citrus and oakmoss. I cannot tear my nose away from this teeny sample bottle. If I needed to bathe in this I would - but luckily longevity and sillage are amazing (6-8 hrs on my skin) so that won't be necessary. I have kept myself extremely happy and found myself a full bottle.

I kinda get the Ultra Male comparisons because it is sweet, fruity fresh and definitely mass appealing. Love wearing this in the fall/winter months. The hate on this fragrance is unnecessary because it smells real good and a good scent to try out.

SMELLS MESMERISING This surely smells amazing, a perfect combination of sweet fruity citrus opening and spicy woody base. This may surely remind you of ultra male and uomo.

This stuff is absolutely amazing. From the second I put it on and to the dry down, JUST AMAZING. Everything about it is great.

Love this scent. Almost make up powdery in a way. Gives me nostalgia of a Guess Man fragrance I used own in the 2000’s.

This is a very nice scent! I don't understand the hate; it's really unnecessary. It's more mass appealing than super niche but it's a fruity, fresh, vanilla fragrance. Unisex leaning masculine. Give it a try because I'd say it's worth sampling. Enjoy!

I know it's easy to bash Youtube guys who are doing their own fragrance lines, but Kudos to them for trying. I've yet to find a fragrance from them that I like tho, but I haven't tried them all. Just a few here and there. This one isn't to my particular taste, but it's nice. Maybe after trying it some more I'll feel differently about it. Very fresh, seems to project fairly well and seems to last. I just bought a decant to try. I have decants from this line on order just to try out. I do feel this line and other youtubers who are doing this, seem to be overpriced. Having said that, I don't know what all goes into making a fragrance line and the costs involved.

The opening comes across as a sweeter and woodier BR540 on my skin. Once it dries, it smells powdery and woody and less sweet, but still a little sweet. It's not that strong, but it still smells very good! My fiance loved it so I gave my travel sample to her.

I really like the opening but after an hour or so it becomes pretty forgettable. Not that nicely blended

I've sampled navitus red and black boxes, so that's about 30 frags (each box has 15 samples, and i believe there's one thats in both, so 29, but anyway..). I think i just have a strange relationship with their bergamot. Everything it appears in smells of barbershop, just that "blue" men's scent, ya know? It took me a long time to figure out that some of them have interesting secondary scents, because i would wash them off or cover them up before/ț the secondary scent could develop. I dont love the primary or secondary on this one though. Oh well

Kinda smells like clean cotton Yankee candle, but slightly sweeter, it’s a nice smell but unsure if I’d want to smell like this

$195 USD for this? Please. No discount code can take away the fact that this no-name, YT exclusively promoted fragrance cash-grab brand thinks it is worth more than Chanel. That is hilarious.

Scratchy, toxic, cheap-smelling, loud, needy, macho, just absolutely awful.

I wanted to like it. But I find this one smell like Unisex by Fragrance.One but project weaker. It’s a powdery and sweet. Since I own Unisex, this is no need for me. And they priced more or less the same, I didn’t regret buying it, but glad that I only got a 50ml. Might be use it before I go to the gym in winter... Since they are quite expensive, I’m not buying from them until I find one that grab my attention. Most of them are ok. It’s not bad, but does it worth paying for? Pity. I’d love to support this brand, and I wanted to like them.

Cheap, generic. Nothing I haven’t seen before. I’d rather spend my money on much better perfume, such a Nasomatto, MFK, Frederic Malle, TT, Jovoy, Chanel, etc almost anyone is better. Great perfume reviewer, but he’s no great perfume nose. As much as he wants to be, not gonna happen.
