Mahni Cassonade

I was reading the below reviews and I knew people were going to expect it to be a lot more sweet due to the vanilla ice cream note, which gives the expectation that it will smell like a sweet foody/gourmand dessert. Sharida had mentioned in her video that it was unisex and musky, so I already went in expecting it not to be a very sweet fragrance. When I read the notes I thought it would lean in the direction between VS Bare Vanilla and Kayali's Vanilla 28. For me that's what this smells like. I def smell the vanilla overall, and it def gives Vanilla 28 vibes, with a little less sweetness and more woodiness. It is not a sweet foody/gourmand fragrance, and I consider this to be a true unisex fragrance. With that said, even though I am for sure a sweet foody/gourmand lover, I do really enjoy this scent. I have been wearing it every day and pairing it with my Brown Sugar Babe Hot Chocolate body oil. I would tell those who are on the fence of keeping it to let it macerate. Think of how Vanilla 28 darkens and gets better over time. I think this will age very well. This is the very 1st Navitus fragrance that I really enjoy. For those who have seen my YT videos know I do not have a high opinion on the brand. So for me this was a very happy surprise, and the 1st fragrance from Navitus that I have that was a love at 1st sniff. My only real negative that I have is that I feel it either doesn't last or I go nose blind to it within a few hrs. So I need to test it out more and be in close proximity of people to gauge it's projection and longevity. But so far I have been seriously over spraying myself throughout the day to keep smelling the fragrance. I stand strong with my opinion on the brand not being worth $300, so if you are on the fence and know you are probably going to purchase this, do yourself a solid and purchase it while it is $206. It's currently out of stock, but when it comes back, if the code is still available, I hope people are able to save the $$.

This is my first proper sampling of Mahni Cassonade, one of the most recent releases from Navitus Parfums, a mostly-gourmand with a prominent toffee note that comes off as syrupy to me, reminiscent of breakfast syrup and waffles or pancakes, even. It’s quote smooth, creamy, resinous, a bit dark, and super strong, with supportive gourmand notes of brown sugar and vanilla ice cream as well as amber and amberwood. The robust toffee component is reminiscent of Absolutio, part of the initial collection from Navitus in late 2019, and still my favorite of the line, though it has other aspects that distinguish it from Mahni Cassonade. Still, there’s some commonality to be considered, and I probably ought to do a side by side comparison, Overall, this is excellent and very enjoyable, especially for a gourmand fan that enjoys the syrupy, resinous, toffee intersection that it’s in play in Mahni Cassonade. It’s high-performing, as the line generally tends to be, in high extrait concentration. The pricing is the highest of the brand both in terms of overall bottle price and cost per ml, at $295 for 125ml, but I imagine it’s sometimes on sale. As with the rest of the line, it’s sold via the house site as well boutiques like Perfumology, where I bought my sample. 8 out of 10

Ok, so to me this is not a vanilla prominent scent, it’s actually VERY toffee based at least to my nose. It literally smells like a toasted waffle cone with a vanilla praline ice cream scoop inside, and lots and lots of toffee sauce on top. It also literally smells like opening a soft toffee candy and biting into it. It smells so scrumptious and delicious! 🍦🍮🍬 As it starts to dry down, I get a powdery vanilla blast, not a creamy or syrupy vanilla, but a powdery vanilla. The powdery vanilla gives it an elevated and sophisticated feel to the fragrance, which I really like. Overall, this is a delicious gourmand and it smells like waffle cones and toffee. In saying so, you have to LOVE a toffee note in your fragrance to appreciate this one. Also, I don’t recommend blind buying this for non gourmand lovers.. Ps, is it just me but this smells nothing like kayali vanilla! Like nothing at all. Kayali vanilla is a sugary warm vanilla and this is a sticky sweet toffee waffle cone

Mahni Cassonade truly stands apart from other gourmand releases that often feel too feminine for my taste (male) or overly “foodie.” The combination of burnt, smoky caramel and rich vanilla caviar is absolutely regal and divine; I honestly don’t understand why this gets any dislike/hate. I catch a whisper of toffee ice cream while the cashmeran, musk and amber accords add a soft, powdery warmth in the background. Just a quarter spray is enough to project and linger beautifully on my wrist. I’m thrilled to have scored this nearly full bottle at half the retail price. The presentation, complete with a leather box, is stunning. That smoky balsamic vanilla drydown, almost resemblance to Tihota or creamier version of Vanille Planifolia Extrait 21 is simply speechless and seductive, kinda remids me of Deee-lite's "What Is Love" lyrics: "Mmm how do you say.... Delicious, Delovely Delectable, Divine? How do you say.... Degorgeous? Dewith it? Degroovy? Define?"

Wow, contrary to what some may think, this is NOT a “basic” anything. It’s a rich and slightly smoky, sticky vanilla. Love at first sniff and addictive. The amberwood shines in this, which is what balances out the sweetness. Now while Navitus prices aren’t the most wallet friendly, I’d gladly buy this a second time (not bc I got it like that lol but I don’t mind spending for what I don’t wanna be without) to support both the curator/collab as well as to continue to make my nose and heart smile lol. As for projection and longevity, it lasts all day on my skin and MUCH longer if sprayed on clothes. That in itself makes it worthy of a repurchase for me. I’m ok with basic or simplistic fragrances when it’s their time to shine in my collection, but this isn’t one of the ones I’d put in this category. It definitely has depth and sensuality. Perhaps it’s their nose that’s basic and they’re projecting (the way they claim the perfume isn’t lol) 🤷🏾♀️.

I like it...I like it a lot...When I first smelled it, it reminded me of Escapade Gourmand. However, it was EVERYTHING that I wanted Escapade Gourmand to be. It's perfectly blended and sweet. The vanilla ice cream note shines in the dry down and this is what made me swoon. This fragrance is perfect for layering and to wear alone. I'm wearing it alone to really appreciate it. Here's what I've found with Navitus's fragrances.... As with my Chocolate Queen, you MUST let their bottles macerate! The bottle of CQ that I purchased last year is a real stunner a whole year later (see my reviews). Therefore, I look forward to seeing what Mahni Cassonade will deliver in a few months. She nailed it with the scent and the longevity, though. I wore it to bed and smelled it the next morning on my skin....not clothes, but skin. And that's what I needed if I'm dropping over $200 bucks on a fragrance. Well done!

Once again I have to let Navitus Parfums sit before I start to enjoy them 🫠😅.... when I first received Mahni Cassonade I didn't like it ..... there was a strong smell of Maple syrup😩(I hate that smell) I think the brown sugar translated to my nose like that. Definitely was not a fan...it overwhelmed me. But now that I have had it for over a month and it has marinated lol... I came back to it, and its gorgeous! A beautiful delicious brown sugar and toffee vanilla caramel candy, I don't get a ice cream note ....and this is not a pure vanilla scent, its much more heavy on the toffee and brown sugar to me, its a gourmand lovers dream! The longevity and sillage is amazing .... people could smell me from 6 + feet away and loved how I smelled, she's a compliment getter 😉 I'm definitely getting a back up! Before I wear this bottle out! She is as gorgeous as she looks!

I just got it three days ago; I've sprayed it to clear the tube, and I've let it sit the customary 48 hours...I ALREADY LOVE IT. That first spray was a blast of delicious vanilla and brown sugar. I was trying not to pay attention because the first spray isn't supposed to actually represent the fragrance, but WOW! I wore it to bed last night, and it became the most beautiful, smoky vanilla on my skin. I could still smell it when i woke up! I had some vanilla incense from L'Occitane and EVERYBODY asked what it was when they smelled it in my house... but sadly they discontinued it. Well, now I can wear it!!! It's sweet and smoky like when they set that dessert on fire at a fancy restaurant. Very sexy and classy. I absolutely love this, and I'm so excited to see what it will become in a few weeks/months!

The best way I can describe this scent is a rich, dark brown sugar, toffee, deep vanilla scent. It really is a true gourmand in my opinion! I do agree that this does give similar vibes to a dried-down Vanilla 28 - basically if you were to take the florals out of V28 and make it deeper and more gourmand, that is what this smells like. This is a beautiful and luxurious fragrance, and is not redundant in my collection even with V28 and Escapade Gourmande. Mahni Cassonade is a darker, richer brown sugar toffee gourmand. Definitely not like the simple vanilla ice cream scents out there like Vaniglia, Dulce by Rosie Jane, etc. I’m glad I own it and will be keeping my bottle! I knew Sharida would release a banger. Can’t wait to see how it performs once its had time to sit.

If I had known this smelled like Kayali Vanilla 28, Fire At Will, and Tihota all mixed together, I would have bought it immediately. To my nose, this is a thick, dense vanilla. It’s sweet, but it doesn’t smell cheap or sugary in a basic way. It smells like a luxury perfume that just happens to be vanilla-forward. Rich, cozy, and really well blended. It lasted all day on my skin and never turned thin or flat. I kept catching whiffs of it hours later, which made me love it even more. I really love this one. Sweet, comforting, unique, and polished. If you like vanillas that feel indulgent but still expensive, this is absolutely worth trying.

A delicious toffee and brown sugar scent. It's deep and decadent and not too sharp. I swear I smell not only ice cream, but also ice cream cone. I don't get any bergamot and the musk isn't too strong. It has moderate sillage and lasts all day. In terms of perfumes listed as similar— ✔️ Imaginary Authors A Whiff of Wafflecone: very similar ✔️ Mancera Amore Caffè: very similar, just with a hint of coffee ✔️ Snif Vanilla Vice: similar but smokier ❌ Kayali Vanilla 28: not as sweet and has a distinct floral note ❌ Maison Margiela By the Fireplace: a smoky vanilla, nowhere near as sweet ❌ Maison Mataha Escapade Gourmande: lighter and creamier

This Mahni Cassonade is the very first Navitus fragrance that has been an immediate LOVE for me! The main notes I smell are vanilla, toffee, brown sugar and a bit of woodiness. Several people say it smells “smoky” and I can see that. To me, it smells like a fresh baked vanilla waffle cone and I’m in love! If you’re looking for straight vanilla ice cream scent, this isn’t for you. But, if you are looking for a deeper vanilla with sugar and toffee (and a little musk), this is great! And, we all know Navitus fragrances get better the longer they sit, so I can’t wait to see how it develops!

If you love to smell sweet GET THIS! i bought a 10ml decant which turned into me buying a full bottle then shortly after a back-up bottle. It’s just that good! it’s so comforting, cozy & creamy... it’s my dream vanilla fragrance! Today alone I have gotten close to a dozen compliments so clearly there’s some magic involved here lol. The notes are just perfect, longevity/projection/sillage are on point, even the bottle is a glittering masterpiece. My expectations have definitely been exceeded & I am so proud to have this fragrance in my collection.

Glad to have Mahni Cassonade a part of my collection, this one is a hit, this is an addictive scent a grown up gooey creamy vanilla and sticky toffee fragrance. It last all day on me longevity and projection is insane. Bear in mind that you gotta let this sit for a few weeks, Glad I blind bought this and didn’t listen to those negative reviews and purchased a backup bottle. Mahni Cassonade is mostly compared to kayali 28 and lA a whiff of waffle cone but there is no comparison whatsoever it's in a league of its own and I much prefer this.

I was blown away by this one, in the best way! It’s absolutely delicious. On my skin this is a slightly smoky, brown sugar, vanilla and toffee scent that lasts ALL DAY! This was the first fragrance to ever last on my skin more than 12 hours and I am so happy to have this as part of my collection. A lot of reviews mention that you have to let it sit for a month, but I disagree. While it continues to get better and better as it macerates, I found the scent to be sweet and powerful, even on first spray.

Do I love this smell...yes! Is it worth 295 USD.....nope. Will wait till I get it for ALOT less. Found out Dapper makes a dupe,,it’s arriving today,can’t wait to see how close it is!!!!!!! Ok the dapper dupe is awesome from what I can remember Mahni smelling like. Used up my sample lol. I love it🥰 Found a good deal!!! Yay!!!!! Ok,,now I have the OG ,,and dapper is about 80% there. Doesn’t really compare. Oh well..it’s not a bad perfume on its own but will never have the richness that Mahni has😍

Fragrance influencer, Sharida M was right. Mahni Cassonade (I love saying the name) is delicious & rich & decadent & musky & creamy & smoky & sophisticated & smells oh, so good. I can’t get enough. It’s so sexy. It was love at 1st sniff. I will wear it this fall and winter with my favorite black cashmere turtle neck sweater. It’s giving that type of elegant, sophisticated vibe. Sharida, I love you, thank you for this. You know just what us vanilla girlies need... ❤️

I received my bottle mid November. At first sniff it had that harsh, smoky burn your nose feel that most Navitus fragrances have when you first get them. I’ve learned to forget their fragrances for a few weeks after the initial spray. It’s now been about a month later and I am in love! This fragrance is sweet but not sickening, smooth, and very sexy! Please do yourself a favor and give it time! This fragrance will grow on you once it macerates!

I think she is fantastic. I’m not big on leaving reviews but she is worth leaving my opinions. She is strong and long lasting which you don’t usually find in scents that don’t have any floral notes. Spicy vanilla with toffee and brown sugar. Did I mention how long lasting she is. I sprayed her in the morning and I smelled her all day long. In the cool air she was just blowing along 🤤 too yummy. So happy I took a chance on her 🙌🏽

This is really beautiful, although it took some time to grow on me. The opening is a little off putting for me because it smells like maple syrup. That goes away as it dries down, and it becomes an intoxicating woody vanilla. It's a gourmand, but done in a very sophisticated way. Its probably my favorite from Navitus

This is a gourmand lovers dream! it's absolutely delectable. BUT you don't need it if you already have Vanilla 28 and A Whiff of a Waffle Cone. (like many have stated already) I have both and if you layer them, it's almost identical. Save your money, unless you have a big bag that is. :p

This is really nice! Deep burnt brown sugar with a drizzle of molasses and authentic maple syrup. This is so rich, buttery and cozy. With that being said I absolutely do not think it’s worth almost $300. That’s just insane. But if you manage to get it at a steal as I did, it’s worth it!

Oh wow, I love this!!! A smoky vanilla gourmand. I get amberwood, vanilla caviar, brown sugar, and ice cream. This is a special gourmand that doesn't smell straight up like edible cake to me, which I love. I'll buy a full bottle of this when my big decant is gone.

I love the toffee note in this yummy fragrance! Its a go to this winter as I really enjoy layering this with other fragrances to give it a more yummy twist. Right now, some of my fav scents to layer with MC over are Ani, D&G Devotion, and Vanilla Oudgasm.

I don't get the maple syrup vibe a lot of reviewers say they get. What I smell is a luxurious, woody, decadent, smoky vanilla. I adore it. I bought a decant and wish it wasn't so pricey or I'd buy a full size bottle.

We all know that scent is subjective... So MY opinion of this fragrance is: it’s smells just like ice cold vanilla bean icecream! Idk how they got the “cold” aspect down but I can feel it! Very well done!

Not sure why this has so many negative reviews? It does not pull maple on my skin at all. To me, it is a gorgeous, sweet vanilla ice cream with a slight ambery spiced toffee on top.

Smoky, burnt sugar vanilla. Not syrupy sweet and a touch of amber to ground it. I started with a 10ml and graduated to a full bottle within a week. I can't wait for it to arrive.

Mahni Cassonade is a very thick and rich toffee/caramel, brown sugar, and melted vanilla ice cream scent. It smells like walking into an ice cream parlor where waffle cones are being freshly made. I think when people are saying it smells smoky, what they are trying to describe is that it smells like burnt sugar or like something is baking. There is no actual smoke or campfire note here. The best comparison I can make is that this scent smells just like Stroopwafels. After you heat up the Stroopwafel, the smell of the waffle intensifies, the caramel becomes warm and gooey, and then you add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top and it starts to melt over everything...that's Mahni Cassonade, at least at the beginning. It starts as a yummy and food-y gourmand that is unisex leaning feminine until the dry down, which is when it becomes very woody and masculine, like a woody aftershave. There is a greenness/medicinal quality to the woody note that almost makes it smell patchouli-ish. I really dislike this stage of the scent. It would be full bottle worthy if it wasn't for the masculine dry down. Overall, Mahni Cassonade is a nice gourmand offering, but it's not the vanilla forward scent I was expecting, so in my opinion Navitus still needs a vanilla dominant scent in their lineup. Mahni Cassonade is more of a brown sugar and toffee/caramel scent. It's very decadent and heavy too, so better suited for cooler weather.

Did a full wear test today. It’s a like not a love. I will give it points for being somewhat unique— enough that I plan to keep my bottle (I had ordered a full bottle before my sample arrived) and see how it evolves. This one is NOT a safe blind buy because it’s crazy how it comes off on different people. I’ve seen everything from ice cream to burnt coffee to maple syrup. On me, it remains a unisex, slightly masculine-leaning, very smoky woody vanilla. I’d say 90% By The Fireplace, 5% Escapade Gourmande, and 5% Kayali Vanilla 28. I don’t have too many smoky vanillas so there is room for it in my collection. Performance: Did not project much but it creates a good scent bubble a little less than arms length. I asked a coworker what my fragrance smelled like and she literally had to lean ALLLLL the way in, like right next to my face. And that was after at least 20 sprays (topped up twice with about 5 sprays through out the day). My 5 ml decant is more than half way gone in one use. 😆 Duration: About 6 hours. Verdict: It’s a good offering. Definitely worth checking out. I’d sample before springing for a full bottle. Keep expectations low if you’re coming in expecting a super gourmand, it may not pull that way on your skin. Worth $295? No. $206? No. This should have been released with the 100 mL bottle style that retails for $170 (and sells for $127 after the promo).

Imagine walking into a Kilwin’s Chocolate & Ice Cream shop. The delicious aroma of rich ice cream, waffle cones being baked, fudge being cut and molded, chocolate being crafted, and candies lingering throughout the store. This is exactly what Mahni Cassonade smells like. A confectionery gourmand experience of warm, sensual vanilla ice cream, toffee, brown sugar caramel, all of which is rounded out beautifully with amberwood and musk. The cashmeran lifts this from being too dense and the base notes prevents any juvenile connotations that’s typically associated with this scent profile. Longevity and sillage are incredible. I could smell it all day and night with 3-4 sprays, around 15 hours, with no issue, and can still smell it on my hair as I write this. It is officially my favorite gourmand I’ve experienced thus far, and cannot wait to wear it throughout fall and winter. ☺️ Edit: Sold my bottle. Overtime, the typical Navitus artificial quality kept peeking through, and ruins the experience. At this price, no one should have to wait for maturation or hope for a good batch.

I’m getting lots of Amberwood. It is mildly sweet with vanilla, but it is not as sweet or as strong of vanilla nor brown sugar as I had expected. By the description and the pitch, I was expecting much more vanilla/brown sugar combo, and sweeter. The YouTuber overly emphasized how this was a SWEET gourmand with tons of vanilla ice cream. I was not expecting so much cashmeran giving it spiced notes and definitely not such strong amberwood. It is still very nice scent. Unisex for sure. NOT worth retail asking price. I’m getting a bit resemblance to original version of Whiff of Waffle Cone but w/o maple and with additional amberwood. Definitely a sister perfume to Ambrosia Imperiale due to that distinct amberwood (which the note gives similarities with BR540). If you dislike that amberwood aroma chemical steer away. Not similar, does not even remind me of Kayali Vanilla 28 nor Escapade Gourmand.

I like fragrances that have some gourmand touches - but not gourmand. I don’t like smelling like food either. I hoped this would be lovely. Sadly it’s over hyped and I failed to enjoy any level of sweetness. I got a whole lot of Amber wood, over cooked burnt caramel and saw dust :( very sad. I’m guessing skin chemistry is against me on this one. I’ll try it again when we start our autumn/winter. But has more in common with Vanilla Powder which I also wasn’t a fan of. Dry/dusty/overly woody and burnt. Edit: June 2024 (winter) - it’s MUCH better. I don’t feel like it’s matured but definitely needs cooler weather for me. Less burnt powder and more a dry, lightly sweet vanilla that is for me, fairly woody. Almost toasted wood. I can actually wear this decant now and is moved from a hell no, to an ok not bad - I might even like this space, complete with the dash of surprise 😁

Upon initial spray I smelled burnt sugar and like a nail polish remover type of smell. Honestly I was surprised it wasn’t a love at first sniff. I must say the dry down is lovely though. It definitely makes up for that nauseating opening. The dry down reminds me of one of my favorite layering combos I recently discovered. I got a sample bottle of xerjoff Apollonia and thought to add some vanilla sweetness to it by layering with Kayali Vanilla 28. Let me tell you that combo is actually so good! Mahni Cassanode smells so similar to that layering combo. Love it! I hope once it sits and macerates that initial opening smell goes away. As far as longevity and sillage, I seem to go nose blind super quick. Definitely need to overspray. I will keep testing it out. Edit: I love it, just needed to sit for a while and macerate! Such a lovely sophisticated toffee vanilla dream !

Hi folks~ Newbie here... Could someone point me in the direction of where I can get a sample of this scent? I can't find it anywhere and it's sold out on the Navitus website. I sure appreciate it. Reading everyone's reviews on different fragrances has really helped me choose certain scents that I'll add to my collection. ***Edit on 2/3/2024: I finally purchased a sample of this, and for some reason, I'm getting a strong, sweet-smelling coffee with a bit of vanilla. It's not offensive or horrible, but I was having a hard time finding all of the notes that were listed. I will let the sample sit for a bit, try it again, and see if it changes anything. Happy February, y'all!

Mhmm... idk if anyone else said this but I was not expecting this to smell like a more feminine/wearable Italica. I did notice A whiff of Waffle Cone on the reminds me life... i can kinda see that a little but w. Less yeast/bread. I think it is the toffee. I am still exploring toffee. Idk if I would wear this all year round. Its giving Christmas holidays. Syrupy sweet. Warm and cozy. But I could be bias because my nose was exposed to Italica before this... Honestly, I was not expecting it to smell like this considering the focus being on vanilla. I would buy this over Italica. Idk if I want such a large bottle tho since I would only wear it in the winter

This to my nose smells exactly like a warm stroopwafel - DELICIOUS! It is very toffee-heavy and pretty similar to Vanilla 28 just with more depth. Its a love for me, and added to the full bottle purchase list. EDIT: I have tested this over a few days, and it somewhat smells of armpit/BO. I just can't get past the armpit smell, so I WON'T be purchasing a full bottle. I have found with the last 2 samples of Navitus (this and Melon Kiss) that they have that weird pee/BO smell..and I just cannot justify spending that £££ on something that smells of stale sweat and dried pee.

This is a beautiful sweet vanilla scent. Smells nothing like vanilla28, eilish (definitely not angelic elixir by DUA), or anything with vanilla bourbon. The remind me section is just not it. Its a grown vanilla ice cream bomb with some brown sugar and toffee just delicious. Its very gourmand and lasts quite well. Imagine if escapade gourmand is a brown sugar bomb with some vanilla, this is the opposite. Very addictive! as a vanilla lover I want them all but this is definitely a MUST Have. edit: Few months later, Toffee toffee and toffee, nothing else, sold it

I have a decant from around the time of its release and decided to revisit it now because I received the bodyspray the other day & wanted to remember what the EDP smelled like. My perception of it hasn’t changed much. It reminds me of being in a cabin style Waffle House that’s in a rural area, comprised mostly of wood. The warm maple syrup being poured onto freshly made pancakes. However, there’s something herbal/menthol in the background. It’s not super prominent but it’s there. It would be perfect for me if it wasn’t for that.

Pretty? Yes Unique? No Gourmand? Absolutely Worth the price? No It is pretty but it is also familiar. To my nose this is a cross between the original formulation of commodity gold and kayali Vanilla 28. Longevity is fair. I get close to 6 hours of wear time with this being pretty close to the skin after the first hour. It's worth sniffing but I would say if you already own CG and KV then you don't need this too. Just layer those together. I am glad I didn't buy a full bottle since it is not unique enough for me.

I got a slight Burnt sugar in the opening but goes to a Strong Airy Vanilla white chocolate , very slight powdery coffee and spice , i like it i dont know if you need to rush to get , if you love vanilla i guess your going to love this , i do like it though its a good 5/hr longevity not huge projection but if people near you yes they will notice maybe needs to macerate more for the 198$ price tag i spent with 30% off solid 7/10 frag for me for now ill come back later

A strong toffee (think Skor bar) note on top of a crystallized amberwood base. Gets smoother (more “melty”) with wear on the skin. Very warm and yummy. I get the musk and that citrus touch at the top. Powerful opening, I understand all the maple syrup comments, as there isn’t a huge difference between toffee and maple candy. Brown sugar is detectable, similar expression of the note as in Kayali Vanilla 28. This is literally dessert served on a wooden plate.

Melting vanilla ice cream with toffee sauce, dipped in brown sugar. A deliciously sweet, smooth, and warm gourmand. Projection is moderate tending strong, longevity around 6-8 hours on my skin before it’s barely discernible. Very cosy vibes, and probably better suited to autumn/winter than spring/summer. I’m enjoying it and would wear again, but the $295 price tag is crazy for something that, when you really get down to it, smells like a scented candle.

first time i smelled this in a Neiman Marcus it was maple syrupy. not my thing. but the way Sharida describes this fragrance it seemed like i didn’t smell the same one, so i got a sample from scent split and this is exactly what she describes. it’s deep but cold. it gives woody vanilla ice cream. i’m a fan. maybe during a sale i’ll get a bottle. or maybe i’ll finish my vanilla skin body spray first.

Wore this for a week and had to downgrade it from a love to a like. I do not think it is worth what it costs. Is it nice? Yes. Is it yummy and gourmand? Yes. It has a spicy ice cream base. Sort of like Mexican chocolate. And it has good longevity and okay projection. It’s just something that I don’t really think is unique enough for my taste. Plus for me, it’s a little on the heavy side.

Mahani Cassonade is my first purchase from the house of Navitus. I love Sharida's taste in fragrances and I also wanted to support her launch! I agree that after hearing of that vanilla ice cream note , I was expecting a sugary vanilla..but no.....this is WAY better than what I was expecting. This is grown, sexy and delicious! I'm excited to see how it develops ands settles! Well done!

Oh this is *gourmand* gourmand, like I have a Bath and Body Works three wick candle that smells just like this lol. Vanilla, toffee, maple syrupy sweet. I like it enough, but it would have to be a specific time and place for me to wear it.

chocolate isn't a note, but it smells SOOOOO chocolatey to me! it's like a waffle cone with a chocolate ice cream scoop and brown sugar sprinkled on top. longevity is good but projection could be better. overall rating: 🩷🩷🩷💔🖤 3.5/5

Beautiful bottle and scent. Very pricey so I bought this as a treat. This smells to me on my skin if I layer Vanilla28 by Kayali and By The Fireplace by Replica.
