Miel Extase

I am normally hesitant of perfumes with honey or beeswax concerned about their interaction with my skin. However, loving Karina, I decided to dive in and ordered this gorgeousness!!! These days after having tried so many perfumes , I’m not expecting to be surprised. However this blew my mind. This is simply gorgeous, intoxicating and for sure different from any other perfume I have. The rum and honey combo has resulted in a boozy, smoldering concoction! This is sultry and delicious and for me this leans feminine. I find myself constantly sniffing my arm and I feel like I’m actually savoring a honeyed liquor..... ahhhh amazing!!! I was not expecting to fall instantly in love with this perfume as I understand these extracts need time to macerate to reach their potential. But seeing how delicious this fragrance already is, I am giddy with excitement imagining its development and thinking about the special moments when I will wear this and become inebriated with its aroma! Love it! I will say Navitus fragrances need time to oxidize before you can really appreciate them. I have had this since October 2023 and I got a very strong rum and chocolate covered apricot scent when I first received it. Fast forward to July 2024 and this is the most beautiful sweet honeyed fruit scent. It starts off sticky and sweet like fresh honey drizzled on top of dried fruit but as it dries down you start getting wafts of chocolate and then vanilla and caramel. The honey stays present throughout the entire wear but the dried fruit starts to lighten up to allow the vanilla and caramel to take over. I typically wear 10 sprays and I get a good 8 hours of wear time with moderate projection.

Honey 🍯 Chocolate. I bought this when it launched. WAY too HOT to wear. This feels good now. Definitely a Fall scent for me. 2nd impression: I still get a lot of honey, dried apricot, but also a LOT of chocolate. These are the stand out notes to me. The heart of the fragrance is cozy, vanilla, caramel, tonka and it is very cool weather appropriate. I really like, much more so in this cooler weather/fall season. Huge compliment getter too! Had multiple people ask what smells so nice or what perfume/scent I am wearing. This scent only works in cool/cold weather for me. The dry down is what is really good.

This one is captivating and unique. Even for those who normally don’t like honey in perfumes, it is a banger. My man loves it on himself and on me as well. It’s not the typical animalic- on your face- kind of honey. I’m wearing it even in warm summer days and it’s totally addictive and powerful. Long lasting. Projects well. You name it. It checks all of my boxes. On my skin I detect the ginger - a fresh one- plus apricot, wild light honey, rum, even a sweet saffron, a bit of davana and chocolate. One word: impressive. Truly one of the best Navitus I’ve ever tested. Well done!

The dry down of this fragrance reminds me of Dulce Diablo, but in a much smoother, more refined way. I had an issue with the way the apricot was blended in Dulce Diablo, but in Miel Exstase it is perfection. This is an elevated gourmand for those who want some sweetness without it being too much. This is lovely and the projection is quite nice. It's unisex right down the middle and can be worn by anyone. This will be better suited for the cooler months, but rules are always meant to be broken.

The fact that some of the reviewers here created an account specifically to bash this scent, says a lot about the hurt and the hate they feel to just become bitter and underrate a fairly good fragrance just because it was (at least the concept) made by an influencer. Their level of malice speaks volumes right there. Fragrantica has turned into a very toxic place lately. Credibility here is quite low smh. They need to have better filters for trolls and perfumers wannabes.

Just got this and it is very different to my expectation..on the opening strong rum and honey mix. Wish the rum was not there. Dry down brings out the apricot ,honey, a bit of chocolate and vanila. I do wish this didn't have the rum and the honey was a bit more distinguishable from the apricot and fruit smell. I wish it was more zoologist bee. Overall this is nice , but maybe it should be called apricot extase. Nice though.

I really love this one! It is very sweet, but not juvenile at all. This is easily my favorite honey perfume. If you love the sweet smell of honey, definitely check this one out. It is so addictive. My husband hardly ever compliments my fragrance, but he was crazy about this one. I would wear this one to go out at night in cooler weather. It’s quite sexy.

This is one of the prettiest fragrances I have. I got a sample of this before buying it and it floored me. I am new to honey but when I put this on it puts a complete smile on my face. I will say this is not a fragrance to wear in the hot and humidit weather it will choke you and linger. However a for cooler days this is absolutely beautiful.

I'm really falling in love with this one. For me it's a honey explosion, but not a honey like scandal by night, it's a honey more mature and super realistic. I love the toffee and caramel notes that I can get here. For me it's a master piece. Definitely Miel Extasis will be my favorite fall/winter fragrance, I can wait for fall to use it.

First impressions... Very nice scent. I get the honey right off, not a thick or heavy honey, but rather light sweet honey. I am getting the fruits, boozy note, and definitely smell the dark chocolate, toffee and tonka bean. The dry down is really good. Have to wait for cooler weather. I feel it is still too warm for this scent .

I totally agree with the sentiment of Sketch_1998. Some people have gone overboard to hate on this fragrance. I refuse to believe that all of them have even smelled it. They’re intentionally down voting this fragrance. Fragrantica needs to instill better moderation to alleviate people from being malicious and spiteful.

Reminds me of making alcohol infused fruit cake, pre cooking. This is much more my kind of gourmand than the likes of Escapade Gourmand and Tempt me Not (FYI, you don't need both of those). If those sickly sweet cake vibes are your jam (or buttercream) then you may not like this. It's a love for me.

I love this fragrance, its in my top5!!!! For those days when you need a cozy and warm hug, there it is!!!!! I can’t describe how much i love to feel this smell!!! Recomended 1000%..... that mix honey/ ginger!!!!.... OMG!!!! Amazing!!!!!!!! Make me feel happy!!!!!

It smells like chocolate covered raisins with a bit of nice rum inside. It’s very radiant and a bit too sweet for my taste, but still super nice. It has darker and more refined direction too. Lovely, I don’t know why the score is that low...

So deliciously wearable. This is a beautiful additive fragrance. The sweetness from the honey, apricot and notes of chocolate are so good. This fragrance is not a heavy gourmound. It's a light airy scent.

I love this scent, it's a boozy honeyed love bomb on my skin. It makes me want to take a walk in the cold winter sun and come home to tea with rum and honey to warm me up.

My package containing Miel Extase just arrived. I know better than to spray a perfume that's been traveling, on a hot day no less, as soon as it arrives. But I did. And immediately felt sad. It kind of reminded me of a Todd Oldham fragrance I had many many years ago that didn't stay in my collection for very long. But it's an hour in, and I'm no longer sad. The opening was masculine and shocking to me, but the drydown is lovely and warm in a cozy honey cinnamon herbal tea kind of way. I forsee this mellowing out and becoming perfect for this coming fall/winter/holiday season. The reason I rushed to order this unsniffed is that I LOVE honey fragrances. But I will say that Karina is one of my all-time favorite YouTubers (always charming and funny, with fragrance tastes that align with my own), this is the first time I've ever purchased an influencer collab, or tried anything at all from Navitus. My top honey love (by a mile) is 4160 Tuesdays Dirty Honey--the truth is really don't need another honey besides this one... But you know how it goes. Ellis Brooklyn Bee is holding the 2nd place spot. Hiram Green Slowdive and Floris Honey Oud are sharing the 3rd place spot but both have been in and out of my declutter pile numerous times. The reason I've kept them all is that they're all so different. Miel Extase is totally unlike the others, so there is definitely a place for it in my collection. Assuming it develops the way I think it will, it'll be sharing the 2nd place spot with Bee. I'll post another review down the line. Incidentally, I like Zoologist Bee well enough, but it was too close to the Ellis Brooklyn to warrant having both.

I like it, but I am disappointed. I have Scandal by Night so this is now redundant in my collection. You definitely do not need both. I find this to be such a heavy hitter with the honey that I don’t get the other notes. Honey can be headache inducing for me, so make sure to spray further down your torso.

Don’t smell the same but it shares the same exact opening and style of honey note as Killians Back to Black. Very much raw out the jar in the hot sun spoonful of honey! Dry down invites the toffee and Tonka been giving it a softer sweetness and milky tone in the base. Very comforting scent.

A little goes a long way. It’s a bit too booze for me but overall it’s a good scent

I will start by saying that I love the idea and the notes that are listed! I was super excited for this one and I know that it has had varying consensus. I have a 3ml tester and when I initially sprayed it I sprayed it on with a few other fragrances. This one stood out and lasted the longest. I got a lot only dark chocolate and honey. The honey that has a little floral and a more natural smell than syrupy. It had a dry sense about it and felt like a fragrance that was just sitting on my skin rather than meshing well. I also make candles & other scented items and I’ve smelled a fragrance oil similar and that’s what this fragrance immediately reminded me of. Just Dark chocolate & Honey and something else. I can’t put my finger on it but it’s chalk-ish or dry which might be the dried fruits. I liked it, but it felt more appropriate for a room spray or candle. I put it on again today and put more on with only this as my SOTD. It’s nice and cold out so I decided today would be perfect. I’m still getting the same vibe as I was when I initially sprayed it. It doesn’t really transform much. I asked my partner his thoughts and he said it smelled nice , but smelled like it was sitting on my skin. He initially picked out saffron & honey on my skin with another off putting note. He said it would be a nice fragrance for his car but it’s not full bottle worthy. I think this fragrance idea was there and so were the notes but the composition isn’t singing a melody on my skin, my nose, or my partners nose. I probably won’t complete my sample because it is STRONG! It’s not cloying but it almost is if you aren’t in love with the fragrance.

I should love this fragrance, from the notes. But I just don't. I already resold my bottle. I definitely get honey and the boozey rum... I also smell the chocolate note too. But something is coming off a little sour to my nose and that is keeping it from being a love. Is it the dried fruits? Not sure. I can tell this is a quality fragrance though. It smells like quality ingredients and I don't fault the artistry. It smells interesting. But I need a fragrance to be more than interesting to want to smell like it myself and keep smelling it throughout the day. There is just something off-putting about it to me. Not a safe blind buy. And I know these Youtubers all wanna make this sound like the next great honey fragrance - but I suggest to take that with a large grain of salt, since nobody wants to trash another Youtubers' creation. Some have already worked with Navitus themselves, and if they haven't yet - they probably want to. Just sayin. Not saying they are flat out lying, but maybe stretching the truth. We'll see how big their dents are (from actual wear and not decanting*) after the winter months. This is more of a cold weather fragrance for sure.

I was trying to figure out what this reminds me of and I realised it is when you bite into one of those little Lebkuchen chocolate covered hearts that come around at Xmas time in those big bags from the supermarket and the layer of apricot jam inside them - kind of Jaffa Cakey, however the overall fragrance is more perfumey than gourmand. This one also smells a lot more boozy than other Navitus fragrances I have tried that have alcohol/liqueur notes. I tested this from the Discovery set and sadly it was one of my least favourites but it was okay as samples go. I'd give it another chance if I had the opportunity to try from a fully 'macerated' bottle. Yes I know that's not the proper term but that's what everyone else says so they will know what I mean. Autumn/Winter/Late Summer appropriate and good longevity especially on clothing. The honey is actually really pretty. As a teetotaller I would prefer it without the strong alcohol in the opening. Once that has passed it improves..

I think I will be the first to say that this fragrance is just "ok". I don't love nor do I hate it. It's definitely not worth the price of a full bottle for me. A decant is enough. But, it is sweet, very gourmand. I think perhaps what I don't like is that I'm not a fan of honey mixed with fruits and chocolate notes. I like my honey fragrances more along the lines of Bee by Ellis Brooklyn. The base notes of caramel and chocolate are pretty strong here, but if I'm looking for chocolate, there are other Navitus scents I like better that focus on chocolate. I know this is a wishy-washy review, but that's because that's exactly how I feel about it....it's meh...If you have concerns about price at all, then definitely don't blind buy this. It's not worth the risk that you will end up NOT loving it enough for the money spent.

Dried fruits. That's the main note I smell from start to finish. The violet and chocolate make an appearance as the fragrance dries down. The honey comes through slightly throughout the entire wear. But dried fruits dominate the entire experience. I enjoy that note, but it's not balanced. This is slightly interesting, but I would never wear it. It's between just okay and a dislike. I purchased 2 sample kits from Navitus. So far, I'm underwhelmed. Hopefully, there's better scents I haven't got to yet. Projection: Initially, it's 8/10. After an hour, it's 6/10. Longevity: 6.5/10 Overall Experience: 3.5/10

this starts with an alcoholic sweetness-rum and chocolate. at the holidays i received some of those little chocolate bottles with cognac inside and the smell of this is reminding me of them. after a few seconds i get dried fruits, apricot, toffee. it's sweet and boozy. it dries down to a honeyed toffee. there is no violet or ginger...cannot believe they are the highest rated notes, as i don't get them at all.

Reasonably strong. Smells like chocolate and honey and apricot? Reminds me a lot of Duas Belgian Choco Truffle with peach

I like the honeying effect that comes from florals or pear, that light and clean sweetness. The opening was pretty bad for me, really chaotic. It only got better when the rum, chocolate, toffee, and tonka came in. That part was okay with some interesting textures, but something still keeps it from becoming a truly tasty scent. It might work with a more polished outfit, but for someone like me who dresses casually in basic Inditex pieces, it just feels unnecessary. It’s very long lasting, but after a few hours it turned into this amber honey spicy big breast auntie kind of vibe. Not for me. Husband instantly turned his nose up at it, too.

I’ve seen so many YouTubers raving about this. I don’t get it. It’s ok but nothing special for me. If you like a honey scent, there are better ones out there. It’s not bad but not great either.

I came across another scrubber that reminded me of Miel Extase, and it was Sweet Sin. As soon as I sprayed it, I knew it was a definite NO! So, I scrubbed it off quickly. However, I always like to give a fragrance two more chances before saying no, and I even tested it during a colder or warmer season, but it still wasn't for me. I decluttered it, and nobody in my family wanted a free bottle of perfume. And now, I just received Miel Extase in the mail, and I hate it immediately. I know someone put a lot of time and dedication into making this fragrance, but unfortunately, it just doesn't work for me or my family. Honestly, I won't even say what my family said, but it was a clear NO. Maybe it's the apricot that I genuinely despise the taste of, but this DNA is just not my thing.

I don't like this fragrance. It is not what I imagened, based on the reviews. People had compared it to Dolce Diablo by Narcotica, and they are not the same. Not even distant cousins in DNA. This is hyper-realistic to a honey scent and that is it. There is nothing more to it. It gives off an old lady vibe. I feel very disappointed, and I don't understand the misleading advertisement of influencers in this. Dolce Diablo is way better and has a melody in it's notes, where you have a feel of the chocolate, caramel and dry apricots,etc. And Miel Extase is just flat, raw honey. And it is so hyper-realistic, I would be afraid of wearing this around bees. You get me? So no, I don't recommend it.

I’m sorry but I really dislike this release from navitus... I gave it many chances but NO...☠️ not for me! 👎🏼DO NOT BLIND BUY! Every time I put it on my skin I have to wash and scrub it off... it makes me sick 🤢 🫢🥴I don’t like leaving mean comments here but I Completely agree with the comment below by @charmedbymeghan I loved all the collaborations with YouTubers, because with my last 4 different perfumes purchases from navitus was very impressed so I didn’t hesitate in getting this one. But FOR ME is just not how everyone was describing it (making it sound soo amazing). No hate! But hey I need to be honest

I was fortunate enough to buy a decant because after giving It a few tries, this is a definite NO for me. When I first sprayed it it was the new Robitussin with Manuka Honey which lasted about 1 hour or so, to then morph into dried fruits and honey which to be fair, is a pleasant smell; not my cup of tea but it is okay. This is not a safe blind buy and def. not a FB worthy for me.

To me it smells extremely boozy. I can smell the honey, the chocolate, the dried fruits, but they are all overpowered by the strong smell of rum, and it makes me nauseous et gives me a headache. Unisex. Potent. Has the potential to be yummy but is not if you are sensitive to boozy notes. Edit : I think it would actually smell sexy on a man

This smells like they just threw some notes together. The fruit smells rancid. It doesn’t smell good. Navitus and vivamor are lacking.

This perfume, which I really like, is a beautiful ode to honey. It is this note that is the protagonist of the fragrance throughout its development. On its start it smells like honey, with a brief reminder of tobacco leaves to my nose. Soon you begin to feel the fruity part with some dried apricots that make the mixture juicy. It is in this phase, during the first couple of hours of development of the fragrance, when I seem to be faced with a liquid and dripping honey, sweet and deep but not too cloying. As the perfume progresses, the honey becomes darker and the tonka and its spicy aspect make an appearance, without losing the sharp aspect that the ginger provides. When the fragrance has been on my skin for about nine hours, it already smells like honeycomb honey, with a certain presence of beeswax. It has a moderate sillage and lasts around 12 hours on my skin. Compared to Dulce Diablo I only find the common point in the note of dried apricots but Dulce Diablo turns out to be a creamier, more airy perfume, with a more liquorous aspect and undoubtedly more chocolatey and with a more amber dry down while in Miel Extase the honey takes the center of the stage, resulting in a more mature, dense and unisex perfume, somewhat less sweet. Miel Extase is ultimately a perfectly unisex perfume, sweet but mature, delicious for lovers of honeyed aromas that have a certain distinguished character and are not too simple. I have also used it in a couple of layerings that Karina herself from the YouTube channel Dearmakeupdiary, who has been directing the development of the perfume, recommended on her channel, combining it with Scandal By Night and with Chocolate Queen from Navitus. In both cases I liked the combination but the way I better like to use this perfume is alone not to overshadow its interesting personality and fully enjoy its pleasant smell. Yes. Yes, yes, yes, yes! This is alluring and captivating. I can smell the honey, apricot and chocolate the most. I can smell a bit of caramel in the dry down. I expected this to be a thick fragrance, but it's light and airy to my nose. This is like a hug from the autumn 🥮🍁 seasons..yes, this smells like an autumn fruit basket! Apricot jam, ginger tea with honey, some decorative flowers/florals and some chocolate candies for Halloween. ALL this together smells divine. Lovely! It's hard to concentrate on one note because there's so much going on, like a festival 🥮. I love that it's not syrupy thick because I can wear this on deceptive summer days & nights and it won't smell overbearing...I will smell like those autumn magazines in the BEST WAY POSSIBLE. It last a good 6 hours, leaving me in my scent bubble.The other thing I love about Miel Extase is that the atomizer sprays a generous amount, so 1 or 2 sprays is enough. As a honey lover, I ignored the negative reviews and blind bought 2 bottles, and I'm glad I did. Honeyed apricot, omgawwd. I also get a cabin in the autumn 🍂🍁woods, the warmth of the trees from the orange leaves (which this fragrance DOES have) with an old fashioned jar of honey or fresh apricots wafting through the winds. Or comfortably sitting at home, a cozy, fluffy couch on a dark luxurious rug, placed on wooden floors, the fire place burning, enjoying ginger honey tea. This is just magical to me. Needless to say I love it.🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡 I read all the reviews below me and I'm quite shocked that this doesn't come across to anyone as I am making it out to be. To me the vibes are unmistakable. Well. Autumn is next month, so do yourself a favor and purchase this, especially if it's your favorite season like mine!

I have had this since the end of 2023. Now we are in February of 2024 so it has had some time to sit and really ripen together. When I first got it I thought wow this is so much rum, that I'm not enjoying the apricot honey chocolate goodness I know this could be. I could feel the potential in it and as usual I said let me let it sit and see which notes develop stronger. And all I can say is yes yes yes. Fast forward 2 months later and this thing is so mouth-watering. I'm so happy I didn't judge it completely and think there was no hope to love this. I wanted to more than just like this because the notes spoke to me. This does now truly remind me of narcotica Dulce Diablo. But a less thick version with just as much honey apricot chocolate goodness. 150 times more delicious after the weeks to let it sit and develop more. That rum note has settled and the apricot honey and chocolate are screaming, yes I'm here and better now ready to take front stage.

As somebody who's very picky about fragrances, I have to honestly say I love this one so much. From the first application to it lasting throughout the whole day, it's a whole experience with lots of warmth and sweetness. The perfect autumn - winter fragrance, as it just blends perfectly with the mood. It's not a perfume that gives me a headache (like most other), this one is comfortable to wear but still very present and even after smelling yourself over and over, it's so delicious and well blended. The best way to describe this fragrance is, it feels like a warm hug accompanying you throughout the day, it's just beautiful and safe, definitely a must try/have. Thank you Karina ❤️

Miel Extase is one of the most well executed and probably my favourite honey fragrance to date. It smells of sweet dried fruits, in particular dried sticky apricots, caramelised boozy toffee pudding with a melted dark chocolate on top and of course the star of the show, the most photo realistic but non-animalic honey. Definitely unisex and has a superbe sillage that will leave a trail wherever you pass by. It's perfect for this fall and upcoming winter season. Both my wife and I are in love with it. We just won’t let it go. 5/5

I love this fragrance, it's unique and I smell honey, apricot and a little ginger throughout the hours of wear. I can't speak on the protection yet since I've only worn it twice but I'm impressed with how much it a standout this is. I love honey so much but smelling like it raw isn't appealing to me (sad memory of wearing Bee until I sold it). This honey is bright and alluring. To me its definitely a must buy if you want to go against the norm and embrace not smelling like everyone else.

I blind bought this based on the main accords and hoping it was going to lean more Gourmand. This fragrance does not change on my skin but remains the same. Leans more unisex, very deep, honeyed apricot scent that reminds me of drinking sweet tea or apricot tea ☕️ with a big spoon 🥄 of honey 🍯 I do get hints of caramel & chocolate, but it’s blended so well I can’t really tell. Not a love nor a dislike it’s nice okay. Would be amazing for the fall/winter

I don't know how I feel about this! After the first spray I was immediately like "no no no no nope".It was too sweet and too in your face, but after it settled down I began to enjoy it a little more. I still don't think it's suitable for me (probably because of the honey) but I can appreciate for what it is. Definitely for colder weather though, it'd kill me during spring/summer 😂 I also think that this is unisex, maybe leaning on feminine.

Miel Extase is not a like for me. Perhaps it’s too much honey or the dried fruits giving the first half hour a sour, dirty, pungent smell. It reminded me of the waiting period on TM Angel where is smells like sharp body odour, only NME doesn’t mellow out to a beautiful chocolate. That’s not to say I don’t get chocolate, I do, an hour or so into it. It’s still sharp, though, I truly just don’t like it at all.

This is a beautiful, sophisticated perfume. I love Karina as a reviewer and Bertrand Duchafour as a perfumist. This is a perfume that is more appropriate for cold days and you that you need to let rest and wait for the drydown to develope. It is the best part of this fragrance.Unfortunately I live in a tropical island and I know this strong scent will be very difficult for me to wear.

Nope, another Navitus that didn’t work for me. The notes sounded like something I would enjoy but this opens a bit dirty?! Almost the same reaching to some barnyard Oud notes but more screechy and dirty. I really like honey normally but this is far too sweet and synthetic for my personal taste. You have to enjoy really sweet perfume to enjoy this imo.

Almost blind bought this out of pure impulse thankfully I waited on a decant. This is coming off very synthetic honey. I don’t notice any violet. I thought maybe this could be a cheaper alternative to Dulce Diablo...alas no dice. For me Dulce Diablo is far superior.

The sweet notes are loud, there is a dense dried fruit accord, something boozy and spiced, something harsh that burns my nostrils...something slightly dirty... I am glad I just bought a sample, this is difficult to enjoy, smells cheap and harsh.
