Opulentas

Navitus Parfums Opulentas is part of a trio of new releases from 2020 (along with Lautus and Arcanum), a sweet/floral/woody mix that has an air of sophistication. The note breakdown seems very accurate, fresh-and-sweet fruit at the top (apple, lemon) with pink pepper, drying down to rose, cypriol, oud, patchouli, amber, woods, and oakmoss, though I do not get a ton of the cypriol or oakmoss. It’s a well-executed even if somewhat familiar formula, very much in contrast to the sweeter, coconut-laden Arcanum and sharp fresh barbershop-like Lautus, so it really rounds out the trio. Even though rose is the only floral note, I more or less get a general floral vibe from it, not something especially rosy, just a white/yellow floral vague mix, which pairs well with the apple and lemon at the top and the base of oud, woods, and amber. Opulentas strikes me as a reasonably versatile type of fragrance, more so than Arcanum though perhaps not as much as Lautus. I probably would not opt for it in the dead heat of summer, but on summer evenings, maybe, and it’s fair game all day in cooler weather. Its performance is very good, like the rest of the line, as well, something I’ve come to expect from the parfum concentration and generally-rich ingredients. Opulentas is sold at both the Navitus Parfums website and Perfumology currently, at the one size of 50ml for $135. Overall, it doesn’t make as much of an impression as other fragrances in the line based on my personal taste but it’s a good fragrance and I could easily see it being one of the more popular fragrances in the line, as it feels very befitting the trend of modern oud-type fragrances. 7 out of 10

This will garner compliments, someone said I smell "dapper." I love this stuff. Smells like sitting on a rocky coast in Italy, drinking a glass of sparkling wine on a bright and sunny day. Also has this tart candy smell. Kinda smells like flinstone vitamins mixed with a sparkling wine note. So unique and uplifting.

Can anyone tell me why they haven’t re-stocked this fragrance? I’ve always been somewhat interested in purchasing it but I’ve never seen it available on the website. Any feedback would be great.
