Reve Nuit

Reve Nuit is my first sampling of the Navitus x Chaos Collection (curated by Dallas of the Chaos Fragrances YouTube channel) and is described as “bright yet seductive” and I cannot help but agree. It has freshness and versatility yet a certain provocativeness. It has a strong woody / citrus blend—neroli, bergamot, cypress, cedar, and most notably, a “whipped citrus cream accord”—and some spicier accords—cardamom, rosemary, vetiver—and freesia, vanilla, and labdanum. It lands fresh, spicy, and somewhat sweet, with a vaguely smooth musky vibe, overall an agreeable blend that nonetheless has some alluring sweet and spicy facets. This is a case where the fragrance is especially well-blended; I would have a very difficult time picking out most of the notes apart from the citrus/spicy/sweet/woody mix. For example, I probably would have guessed that pepper were in the mix, given that the spicy edge can be prominent at times, but pepper is not a listed note. Reve Nuit has signature scent vibes, ever so slightly masculine-leaning in my opinion, but I could really see anyone wearing this on a daily basis in lots of situations (formal or relaxing, winter or summer) and pulling it off. It has an ease to it, despite, once again, having a provocative side as well. It’s a really curious blend and while I felt déjà vu when first spraying it on, I do not have a comparison to make. Reve Nuit is priced at $195 for 100ml in parfum concentration and a sample is available as part of the current “Discovery Bundle 2” that includes 1.5ml samples of the latest eight releases (Vivamor, the five Enamoured x Big Beard Business, and two x Chaos) and a 15ml each of the Lautus, Arcanum, and Opulentas. I look forward to sampling the other, Soleil Matin. Reve Nuit may very well be my next Navitus buy but I’m going to try Soleil Matin first and revisit the Enamoured quintet as well. 8 out of 10

I'm grooving on this. Citrus and intriguing spice/aromatics. Unisex, ever so slightly masculine. Has a "close" scent bubble, but it fills that deliciously. Well-blended, smooth. Not picking up on anything synthetic, as some have stated. Slight sweetness, I don't notice it being medicinal but maybe I wouldn't because I like things that are medicinal. I assume they're it's referring to the aromatics. This does have a very slight creamy facet to it. Underlying. Not sure what it's from, but I'm not picking up on any of the typical "musks" that bring that. This is different - less, but superior, imo. I see this being great in cooler weather, but I tried it in 80° F yesterday and it was good -- the cardamom didn't overpower the citrus and aromatics, just enhanced them.

This stuff is awesome. In the opening it smells somewhat like spice bomb but creamier. Lasts forever. Very big compliment puller

One of the most underrated colognes in my collection. I have nothing like this. It performs. This nice creamy floral concoction!

My fave freshie in my collection. Although projection might not be the best, longevity and smell are just😍. Hands down the best fresh type of frag ive come across PERSONALLY. This is creamy, sweet and seductive all while being fresh and versitile. Signature scent worthy for sure👌🏿.
