Reverie Rouge

After all the hype around Destin, I was honestly hesitant to try this one because Destin came across extremely screechy and synthetic to my nose. Reviere Rouge, though, was such a refreshing surprise. This is a strawberry and cherry fragrance done in a much more refined, grown way. If you’re expecting an overly sugary, candy-like strawberry scent, this isn’t that. On my skin, the strawberry feels realistic and juicy, wrapped in a rich cherry note that’s incredibly alluring. I don’t really pick up the coconut, but I do get a soft almond nuance blended with a sparkling rose that makes the opening feel elegant and addictive. The dry down is beautiful — woody vanilla, sweet musk, and amber giving it warmth and depth without feeling heavy. There’s something effortlessly sensual about this fragrance. It feels confident, feminine, and mature without trying too hard. Bright at first spray, then quickly turning into this smooth, sexy scent trail that keeps pulling you in. Of course fragrance is subjective, but to me, this one is stunning... and judging by the compliments, I’m clearly not the only one who thinks so. Give it a try.

This is really, really pretty. Strawberry 🍓, Cherry 🍒, Coconut 🥥 and pink rose 🌹 perfect for spring and summer. Fruity, floral, only slightly sweet and a bit creamy. Clean. Office-safe, long lasting. This is classy, elegant and grown up. I wouldn't give this to a teenager because it's not sweet enough; however, the absence of syrupy sweetness is what gives it elegance.

I don't like cherry perfumes. I don't like traditionally feminine perfumes. I don't like fruity perfumes or floral perfumes... But I LOVE this... Go figure I don't understand how people aren't picking up the fruits, that's all I get for the first half hour, not in a regular nauseatingly sweet cough syrup way. It's definitely more of a wild strawberry kind of way.

Sampling Navitus Parfums Reverie Rouge, a 2025 release under the direction of YouTuber Sharida Moore, a bit of a sweet, fresh, semi-gourmand with florals, a blend of cherry, strawberry, rose, cream, almond, tonka, coconut, woods, musk, and vanilla, providing a bit of sharpness to counter the sweet and creamy aspects, with the rose being the single biggest modifier to bring it more toward something like a strawberry/cherry meringue with the florality associated with the orange blossom version (in Profumum Roma Meringa, most notably), though in this version, there is no orange blossom. Rouge Reverie is quite pleasant, certainly more on the fresh sided than dark/heavy side of gourmand, perhaps a little inherently feminine while still being pleasant for any wearer, a nice lighter gourmand to complement the many heavier, darker ones in the Navitus and Vivamor catalogues. Retail pricing is the line’s standard $195 for 100ml, in extrait concentration, sold initially via the house exclusively but now available in the US via great retailers that carry the line like Perfumology, from whom I obtained a sample. 7 out of 10

I like how the cherry accord in this fragrance is not a TF Lost Cherry, nor a cough syrup,/chapstick vibe either, I was sick and tired of those cherry scents. The cherry here is perfectly blended with the strawberry and coconut in a pulp manner forming one accord. But the almond accord makes this perfume playful instead of remaining juicy, which I like. I love the almond accord, it’s borderline playdoh like and wish it was more intense. At first it reminded me of Pink Me Up but with almond, but this has more dept. Fruity fragrances will always remind me of the Escada perfumes from the Y2K era, as does Pink Me Up, but I seem to like this more, mostly because of the almond.

Begins as the prettiest cherry cough syrup. Moderately medicinal, but smooth. I’ve smelled harsher (Rouge Smoking comes to mind). The cherry continues to increase in intensity, accompanied by some strong woods. The sandalwood makes it slightly powdery. Then, there’s some sorcery happening an hour later that I don’t know how to describe, but it is captivating. Perhaps the musk & cherry are mixing together in a way that just works with my skin.

This is my third try with the Navitus perfumes and sadly, they've all missed the mark. For Reverie Rouge, the notes listed are 100% accurate, just seemingly in the wrong order. I get syrupy cherry, bright strawberry and vanilla on the spray, but in the dry down, powdery floral and wood take over. The combination is not good on my skin. Like smelling baby wipes while eating a red starburst. It's a no for me. Update: Gave this to my friend who is obsessed with dark floral and woody fragrances and she just texted that I can have it back. She said, and I quote "way too grandma." Guess it wasn't just me.

This fragrance is not a safe blind buy. The visual presentation and note breakdown were promising, especially the mention of wild strawberries, but unfortunately, they were barely noticeable—even after maceration. The initial spray hits with a strong musk, overpowering any expected fruity freshness. After a couple of weeks, the fruity notes emerged slightly, but not enough to justify the $200 price tag. I generally enjoy Navitus fragrances, but this one didn’t resonate with me.

This one was a no for me. I don’t get any of the sweet or fruity notes AT ALL on me - it just smells extremely woody to my nose. On a fragrance card it’s pretty - sweet, powdery, a little floral. On my skin I ONLY get wood, wood and more wood, and not even in a pleasant way. I have other perfumes with similar notes that smell sweet/fruity on me and not just like wood but my body chemistry I guess hates this one I guess. That being said - this is strong. One spray on my hand to test it and hours later I still can’t escape it. After washing my hands and scrubbing in the shower I still smell it. I know plenty like this perfume and is certainly got lasting powder and amazing sillage, but just not a good representation on me!

Very simple. Childish. Linear. Not worth the price tag imo. Insignificant and easy to forget. Projection is weak and so is longevity. You can find this scent profile in any small city/town drugstore aisle. There are a lot of body mists that are available for less than $25 and last longer than this on your skin. Trust me. Overpriced to say the least. Save your pennies! ⚠️

Looking at the notes, I thought I would like this or atleast find it interesting, but no.. It smells like a mix of baby dolls, baby wipes and cough syrup.

Very reminiscent of Marishino by Sospiro or even Guilty Crush house of Oud just a watered down, less sweet version of both. All of those fragrances belong in the same scent category. If you own either of those fragrances you might not need this one, what my nose 👃🏽 pick up is a pink rose 🌹, cherry and strawberry it’s very diluted, kind of translucent, and whimsical not as fruity as people hyped it up to be. I’m actually getting tired of Niche perfume houses duping other Niche fragrances houses. If you can’t make the dupe better or unique so it stands out over the original then please stop copying and wasting people money with redundant scent purchases 🙄 ughh so annoying and of course this would layer beautifully with Guilty Crush or Maraschino, but I’m tired of smelling the same thing over and over!

I just got this fragrance and I am wearing it for the first time today. I always wear my new fragrances when I work from home to see how they wear on me before I wear them out or if I have to go into the office. This one is a winner. There are so many facets to this fragrance. First, I smell the fruitiness of the strawberry and cherry for a while, but as it dries down I begin to smell the rose and almond along with the fruit. In the end the muskiness is there but it’s subtle. I love musk, so it could be stronger and I still would love this fragrance. I don’t spend a lot of money on fragrances, so for me this was a little bit of an investment. All I can say is money well spent. I also think it is safe to overspray a little. It is not a beast mode fragrance. Very nicely done.

I really wanted to love Reverie Rouge, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a personal miss for me. On my skin, it came across as overwhelmingly dense and strong blend, which felt suffocating rather than inviting. It’s bold, no question about that, but for my taste, it leaned too heavy and lacked the balance I enjoy in a perfume. Longevity and projection are true beast mode — if you love it, that’s great... but if you don’t, prepare to be followed by it for hours. Fragrance is deeply personal, and while this didn’t work for me, others might find it warm and luxurious. Just sharing my honest experience in case someone else’s nose is wired like mine. In my opinion definitely not a safe blind buy.
