Siesta Drive

I ordered a discovery set and I looked at the name of this fragrance and I had a preconception that there's no way I'll like a fragrance with a name "Siesta Drive" whose creative director is an unfamiliar person of a nickname Big Beard Business (I'm still not familiar with the gentleman). Boy, I was wrong. This fragrance is my favorite one from all Navitus samples I tried. When I smell it, I picture a late afternoon on a hot humid summer day, driving into the sunset, hot city, and relaxed mood. Now I understand why word "siesta" was used in the name. I'd describe this scent as warm, resinous, citrus scent. Do not get mislead by the word "aromatic" or "fresh spicy" - this is not a light, crisp, citrus scent. It is rather unique. It doesn't remind me of any other fragrance. However, it's a distant cousin of Fueguia 1833 vibes (Cuentos de la Selva), but less sweet and more masculine-leaning. Still, it's definitely unisex and on a relaxed, casual side. Love this creation. It had the "wow" factor for me. Can't stop smelling it. Dominique Ropion executed it perfectly. Try it.

You know what....this is really good! Totally a hidden gem...it's a lemon cheesecake but in a fresh way and the vanilla totally kicks a**!! I got this as a free sample too other wise I would never have known this existed and this deserves to be like hyped up big time. I really love allure homme sport, but I think this easily better than allure homme sport and all those copies like versace pour homme, missoni wave, xerjoff uden, etc...The new king is in town and it's Navitus!! Phenomenal and 10/10

Big Beard B! First off congratulations. This scent is amazing people, had to give it a nick name French Lemonade. I never knew Lemon and Vanilla could mix like this, I wouldn't say cheesecake but you definitely smell edible which is something different for a citrus scent. You also get a little lime in there some lemon grass and bergamot, Really u smell every note in here but mainly the lemon other citruses and the creamy vanilla shines. For me this scent is a 10 out of 10 10/10

Please bring this back. Nothing worse than falling in love with a sample only to find it’s nowhere to be bought. I agree with most of the reviews. I mostly get some type of sweet lemon candy with a vanilla creaminess. It smells so similar to something from my childhood, but I can’t quite place my finger on it. On skin it just is delicious, but also wearable. Desperstely searching for a bottle of this.

This is one of my favorite summer time scents. Delicious lemon cake/square. Doesn't lean too much into a gourmand. The juniper and vetiver add a good weight to keep it also light and fresh. I paired with a vanilla dominant perfume and BBW Iced Lemon Pound Cake for the ultimate lemon bar vibe. Edit: I just had to come back and say how much I really love this. Perfect!

I don't think it's continued I asked them to notify my a few times when it came back in stock and i've received emails a few times every time it came back in stock but it sold out almost immediately on their website within hours after being back in stock. Just very popular but not discontinued that I know of

Its a gourmand citrus from the start . The mascarpone/vanille is very present from the get go with the citrusy notes More feminine leaning to my nose Great lasting power and projection but very smooth and well blended at the same time Honestly if you like lemon vanilla scents this is a must try

Gorgeous and 100% unisex. If you need a fresh gourmand for warm weather then this is it. Tons of citrus with some spice and a fresh vanilla drydown mixed with all the citrus notes,mainly lemon. Similar to Chanel AHEB but longer lasting and it never gets cloying.

Obsessed with Siesta Drive! It's the perfect summer scent - so fresh and bright thanks to all that citrus. The pink pepper and ginger add a little kick without being overpowering. I get compliments every time I wear it.

Working my way through my discovery kit! I was excited to try this due to a youtuber raving about it. It smells SO yummy. It actually reminds me of Get A Room by Confessions of a Rebel (not a dupe but SO similar). Both are about the same price, so for me it'll come down to the lasting power and projection. Unfortunately my skin eats fresh/citrusy scents. But I'm praying this one lasts because the lemon and vanilla is so addictive... P.S. Can anyone tell me who has smelled the tester and the full bottle if the full bottle is longer lasting than the sample? If so, I'd def invest in the full sized. But if they're the same... I may not!

Absolutely love love this!! It was a blind but, I bought it together with Venom of love (which I completely hate) As someone said this is indeed a hidden gem. Smells very citrusy (in a good way) the dry down gives me light blue D&G.. I think it’s coz of the citrus notes. The longevity is great. I can still smell it the morning after even after showering . Not sure about the sillage yet since I’ve only worn it twice in my house, I’ll wear it in public and I’ll be back to edit my review.

In theory the notes sound great, but there’s something in here that’s off-putting for me. I can’t quite pinpoint it, but it’s too bad.

I was hoping this smelled like key lime pie. It doesn't. There is a note in this that reminds me of Oud - dark and overpowering. I scrubbed it off as best I could, but still it lingered. Very disappointed, but glad I tried a decant first.

I bought a decant because I was very curious about that mascarpone note and with the first spray it was a FB purchase. It smells citrusy yet lactonic in a fresh way, like, when you drink a glass of cold milk and it’s so cold that doesn’t taste like milk. Also there is this aromatic nuance, guessing is the olibanum, but it reminds me of honey? Like when you take a spoon of honey and lime for a sore throat. Being this said ( and I don’t really know if this candy is sold in the US ) but it smells like mexican Honey Halls in a really good and sophisticated way. Projection is so-so but it’s stays with you from 8 to 10 hours. I really think this a all year perfume but I will definitely avoid it between July and August (hottest days) as the lactonic note and the sweetness of the citrics makes me think it will cloy in a bad way. 9/10 ETA: I just searched in google and yes there is honey Halls being sold in the US but like, as a cough pill? So I don’t know if those have the same smell/taste as the mexican ones, so yeah. Edit #2: I have tried the American Halls and no, they don't taste like the mexican ones, if you have a chance, go to your nearest latin/mexican store and bought them, the taste and smell it will give 100% this fragrance, the cheapest way to try this before buying.

I blind bought a full bottle and have now had this beauty for a week. What can I say I’m in love! This is a tall not overly sweet glass of lemonade that never ends. This has eternal lasting power on clothes and it stayed on my skin for 12+ hours. That is incredible for a citrus fragrance. It’s very creamy and it reminds me of oriana from pdm. It’s not a dupe or anything but it’s got the same beautiful citruses at the top the same creaminess in the heart the everlasting staying power on skin. I tried them both side by side and oriana is the ultra feminine version of siesta drive. This, however, is less than half the price of oriana and unlike oriana it projects like a beast! This is worth every penny and FB worthy! This is a masterpiece! Well done Navitus my first ever fragrance and it was a blind buy but it was ultra successful! I want to try them all now!

I remember smelling this for the first time but didn’t know what it was or who made it. Was an immediate like. Such a pleasant smelling fragrance. Has a lot of notes but it’s a fairly simple smelling scent. It’s an awesome sweet and creamy citrus with vanilla and a nice musk as it dries down. This has a perfect balance of sweet and fresh whilst also smelling clean. Borderline gourmand to me because it just smells ‘yummy’ like a sugary lemon pie. Performance is great on this one but it will stain clothes so be careful. People are really sleeping on this one!

Smells like Ajmal's Musk Rose CPO topped with a huge dose of lemon oil. In the air, it's pleasant. Up close, the musk mix is too much. I also get SO MUCH rose when smelling up close... in the air, it did make me think of D&G Devotion (Women), or BBW Loyal to You. Not related to Chanel's AHSEB at all. Closer to LV Imagination than Chanel... but that screechy musk.......

Luxury hotel spa in the Summer meets lemon-lime cheesecake. How they were able to put all of those citrus notes in it and still give it body (and also avoid the household cleaner vibes)....😍 🤯 I'm thrilled I found a full bottle for $60 as this one seems to be eternally sold out on the Navitus website. Is it actually discontinued?

I usually get annoyed when people ask questions in the reviews section, but if anyone is even willing to sell or swap a decant of this, shoot me a message. I've been looking for a bottle for a long time. One finally popped up on ebay today, clicked on the notification email, and it was already sold.

I love this! I have light blue escape to panarea also. They are similar I love them both for the spring and summer. so excited to test this one out in the summer months. beautiful I love cheesecake also! lol especially lemon cheesecake :) yes please!

This is a really beautiful fresh but creamy and sweet scent. I can still smell it in the room I sprayed it on in. A great option if you want something that will cut through the heat and humidity that’s not quite as sharp as your typical citrus scents
