Verve Matin

I’m actually surprised this one doesn’t get more love. I find it fairly unique for a freshie, and it performs well on my skin. I get about 6 hours of longevity, and it projects an arms length for about 1.5-2 hours before moving closer. The driftwood note is very noticeable which to me, makes it a bit unique blended with the other notes.

MINTY DELICACY I really loved the way the opening switches between juicy citrus and minty spice. The dry Dow is minty herbal notes, that may be due to bay leaf but will remind you of mint chutney or spicy mojito. This one is really unique, and I would recommend anyone to surely try this amazing creation.

I enjoyed this fragrance quite a bit. Works well on my skin performance wise and garners compliments. Definitely for warmer weather.

My fifth and final sampling of Navitus Parfums’ new Enamoured Collection is Verve Matin, a bright and fresh mix of citruses and spices, mostly, that’s somewhat clean but also somewhat dirty. It’s versatile, unisex, starting out pretty peppy and calming down quite a bit. Its main notes include a citrus ensemble, with spicy additives of cardamom and cinnamon, along with key contributes of juniper, clary sage, and saffron, over a bed of driftwood and musk. So certainly with the middle trio, it’s difficult to avoid the sense that there’s something vaguely green, herbal, and just a wee bit dirty about it, even though it’s mostly a citrus-and-slightly-spicy mix that has a vaguely aquatic feel with the driftwood and musk. Along with Elation, Verve Matin is one of a couple of easy-to-wear freshies, Elation perhaps being slightly more stereotypically masculine but both being fairly unisex, agreeable, and versatile. And while anticipating the collection, I expected that I would prefer Verve Matin, I actually prefer Elation slightly in that’s just a little bit more consistent. Still, if you prefer fragrances that evolve, Verve Matin may easily be your preference, as Verve Matin is pretty loud and sharp to start and pivots much more toward the musk and driftwood after some hours of wearing. Overall, it’s very nice, a fragrance for all seasons and occasions, a crowd-pleaser with some pep, not completely fresh but plenty fresh, and not really off-putting in any way while still providing some intrigue. That saffron, juniper, and clary sage all appear together in one fragrance, especially as it evolves, is very fun and they collectively provide a neat counterpoint to what is an opening citric blast. Like Elation, it performs reasonably well, though not as well as Eidola, Exalt Nuit, or Soir Exclusif. Fresh, and citrusy. Smells bright and would be great for the summer. It's not strong though. This is the type of fresh scent I like because it's not sharp like many others.

Smells like a Christmas candle. It’s good, but maybe better suited to a home air freshener spray rather than a personal scent.

Wore this today in the middle of a 35°C summer day. Lasted all of 3 hours. For the $260 they’re asking, no chance. Way better scents out there. Shame. I really like the Navitus range. This just doesn’t work on me.

Okay, I must admit the first 2 I smelled from this line were headache inducing and had an undertone to them that I would describe as a headache in a bottle. I was hesitant to continue, but this one is nice. I sense a lot of grapefruit and juiciness. Projection is mild. This one is the best of the three I've smelled, and best of all Verve Matin didn't give me a headache. Great job Steven. Shout out to the fake actors. They know me, but will never acknowledge Mr. Miami Cuddles. HELL YEAH!

It’s fresh,bright noting special. There is no projection just a skin scent after ten mins .really disappointing.
