low price frag but excellent quality its smells so good on skin and i reccomend it if you love dolce & gabbana for men ,quite good in longevity ,average sillage . in the drydown reminds me un fleur de cassis by f. malle

Nose Note #494 Oh, yes, that's a good one. Definitely going after D&G Pour Homme. What I like! 8/10, easy one for me

I blind bought a bottle due to D&G pour homme comparisons. First impressions; Not as amazing as I had hoped, that is to say it's not the exact same as vintage D&G. I think here the note of mint gives NG a slightly different flavour, especially during the opening. In the dry-down the tobacco comes to the fore (with a lot of lavender) and it's rather nice. As with vintage D&G the tobacco note is evident but like newer D&G there is no lovely lemon note so I'd say this might be closer to the newer D & G pour homme, it also has a similarly more timid sillage and projection than vintage D&G. It's a nice scent in it's own right and is certainly quite affordable in comparison to the other two, worth checking out for anyone who likes D&G PH. Although I get the feeling longevity will also be an issue with NG. EDIT: Longevity isn't too bad for me, still average though (5 or 6 hours at best), it lasts much longer on clothing though. Sillage/projection on the lower end of moderate, quite soft after an hour or so. It was a decent purchase for me.

Revisiting this one; It's a real shame that NG pour homme is so soft as it's a really nice scent. Definitely in the same ballpark as the original D&G pour Homme which was released two years earlier in 1994. As with the tragic newer D&G variant perhaps this stuff has also become weaker over the years? Whatever the case this is like a lighter version of the 90s D&G, kind of but not exactly, the D&G was a stronger with an almost creamy (but not quite) vibe at times, it just seemed more complex. There's a floral note here which I think is the mimosa which stands out along with a light blonde tobacco, clean & lightly sweet like a fresh pack of just opened cigarettes, it's really a spot on representation of that! Glad I have it but every time I wear it I wish there would be an intense or EDP version! Still, as it is it's a good tobacco scent for warmer weather ;)

This is one of those rare low price-high quality fragrances and though the outer packaging could make you think of something very classic and aimed to old gentlemen, Nazareno Gabrielli Pour Homme is actually a very contemporary and stylish perfume. It can suit any season and any dressing style and it is a good choice both for daywear and for a night out. Fairly good projection and longevity too. It is true that it is very similar to D&G Pour Homme (even the bottles are very similar), so if you like that one you can surely consider this one as a cheaper alternative ;) A very well done fragrance which makes you think about how much the brand, the advertising, the packaging and the market placing weight in the final price of a perfume. Recommended.

Nineties fragrance by Paolo Cerizza with a richly citrusy, tart, fresh, herbaceous opening, evoking woodland and sylvan atmospheres with a floral olfactory evolution of geranium, mimosa and lavender that peep out on a humid and earthy grassy surface. Reassuring woody and musky base. I still don't understand the gratuitous and unpleasant insults to commercial fragrances with democratic prices... everyone has the right to perfume themselves whether you like it or not, great experts in artistic fragrances and missed and misunderstood noses (fortunately for us) of world perfumery.

Along the lines of D&G pour homme for sure, although nowhere near as rich as I remember that one to be (I had the made in Italy version many moons ago) and the scent isn't quite the same. I'm not sure why but there's something that makes me think of violet in this one. To me this is a fairly light fragrance, the citrus isn't too pronounced nor the tobacco, in fact nothing is too pronounced but it's very pleasant and makes a change from everything else I own. It does remind of the smell of a freshly opened pack of cigarettes, in a good way.

It is a very good clone of DG pour homme, lasts 3 hours only. Cheap but worth it. An excellent blind buy.

You really do have to love tobacco to be endeared to this one. I get about 80% tobacco, 10% lavender and orange each. I can't compare it to D n G because I've never tried it. It smells quite high quality and very contemporary/ wearable and versatile. Honestly I can't really say a single negative thing about this fragrance except that I personally hate these notes! I sprayed it 30 minutes ago and it seems to be changing a little bit becoming brighter in some way. There are a ton of notes listed so it's interesting people are smelling all sorts of things. - No Bling buy - 30 years old plus - versatile - very cheap - average performance

Things that come to my mind: Omar Sharrif in that caper movie "Green Ice", Burt Reynolds in "Rough Cut" and Michael Caine in "Ashanti". Bottle reminiscent of a sunset from those 1970 and 1980 ies movie posters that wanted to emphasize atmosphere of adventure and far away places...I would say middle east adventures.Something very, very desert like in this frag, like a day closing down after a heat wave and you sit down, shirt button up, your favorite cocktail (mai tai or dakiri perhaps?), all that while watching birds above the sea and boats gently swinging on the waves. Tobacco, sun and send in the bottle. You are wearing light linen trousers, while your perfect blazer is taking a rest on chair nearby, you are perfectly shaved and the only breeze you feel is the one on your chest hairs. Meditative, zen scent.

This thread appears to be more about the similarities of this fragrance to the original D&GPH than the fragrance itself. I just thought I'd pout it out there that I too am a massive fan of the original D&G and wore this lots back in he 90's early 2000s and sadly miss the original formulation. I went on something of a quest to find other fragrances with the same scent profile or straight off dupe. I was unsuccessful until I stumbled across - of all things- a Lidl dupe that goes by the name of Essence Dark Blue by G. Bellini, which is a straight off copy of the original D&G and can be readily bought on the internet for about £15 for a 100ml EDP. It's probably the only dupe out there that comes extremely close to the original D&G, so go buy that if your after D&G!!

I reactivated my Fragrantica profile to review this one. Like many people, I heard the DGPH comparisons and made a note of this one to myself. That was a few years ago. I finally picked it up recently as it was on clearance from FN. Mostly curiosity, partly cost. I have the current DGPH and I also had a sticker bottle in 2006. I'm not the world's foremost expert on the fragrance but I know it. Anyway, you want to know — is it like DGPH? Yeah, kind of. It's not a copy of it like say, Cuba Gold is a copy of Le Male, but there are some similarities. The differences are that it's more soapy and it's also lighter. Decent in its own right? Yes. But is it a replacement for DGPH? I would say no. If that's the itch you're trying to scratch, just get that.

I have vintage D&G & though a superb frag not in my top 20, but !! only because i prefer other types .. Now on to NG , this is a very good quality frag that i enjoy wearing & i can say though very vey similiar they do have subtle differences ..... So a tip !! forget the reformulated crap there selling as D&G nowadays & get yourself a bottle of NG you will be suprised & happy !! ... Note (( i have not tried the reformulated D&G but no need to we have enough dissapointed reviews ))

Like others bought due to d n g comparisons. At first I was convinced , then not so much. Think I agree about the lemon point that was made. After reading I actually applied it with a little armaf tres nuit which has lemon verbena I think, n it seemed to make it a little more palatable, would need to try again but seems a little closer to d n g initially. So yeah, if u have that mb try improve this with it, or just buy d n g .

Very similar to Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme, very low price but with high quality.
