Nuevalos

I’m always happy to see interesting brands introducing us new and unusual products to this massive and in some sort of quite tired and boring perfume market. Recently on my travels I’ve been able to visit lovely shop in Barcelona and talk to the owner and creator of nBitor who is not afraid putting his money and energy to something like “artistic perfumery” with a big risk of losing it forever ( I know I know, every business has to go through the same process but in this case risk is even higher ). Here we are, standing in the shop watching my husband falling in love with Nuevalos. Initial surprise! ( hard to please him hahaha) Is it gourmand? Not quite... Imagine cocoa powder floating around you , not sweet. Few drops of bergamot helping to calm that dust and melon / watermelon give it some sort of sweetness. Aquatic - ish ? Have I smelled anything like this? Nope! Do I love it? On my husband, absolutely!

This is a wonderful scent! Reminds me of masar from pernoir. No one note stands out to me. It's all wonderful blended and hard to describe. Lovely. From what I've sampled nbiter is solid. Definitely worth a sample of you can get a hold of one or more of their fragrances.

I was surprised by this. Certainly didn't expect to like it, yet I do. The smell is very pleasant for me. Alas, I do not believe I would wear it. I also do not think I would want my wife to wear it. A conundrum. I like it, but don't see a use for it. It took me a bit to realize some similarities with Nightingale from Zoologist. Yes, I know they are different. However, in the background they have a similar presence. Like others from NBitor, I think this is blended well. Great bubble and lasts for hours. Salted cocoa with a soft and sweet white floral backdrop. Easy to enjoy.

Went to their store in Barcelona a week ago and bought this... when I'm going near my collection I can sense this. This one is deep inside my brain and all over my clothes from last week and I can get the smell out of my wardrobe. This is powerful, is about the cacao and the sea breeze, but more about the cacao. All the other notes are not so much recognised in here but it's a good fragrance nonetheless and kinda weird in a good way :-D

Turned out way too animalic on me, like civet is hiding in all stages of this perfume...

A very strange, unpleasant aroma on my nose, frozen cheap chocolate ground with a lot of salt, jasmine and honey indole ugly, very sweet and strongly argue with salty chocolate, also lactone sandalwood, bitter moss and synthetic oud dump everything into some kind of mess. I can't imagine who and how it will be worn, and who likes it) there is no dispute about tastes, I myself love a strange niche, but this sample is not my option at all. There is an unpleasant smell

I was curious what an ozonic cacao scent would be like so had to try this. The only way I can describe this, is it smells like frozen tempered chocolate. Like the coating on a magnum ice cream, straight as you pull it out the freezer. Complete with that sensation you would get if you held the ice cream to your nose, and you can feel the zinging cold jumping off of it. Perfect for the person who wants a not-so-obvious gourmand, or those that often find them too dense and cloying. This is light, almost fresh in a way, but never escaping that cacao undertone. It almost has a bit of a minty fresh aspect to it. It's not strong and its closer to the skin, but I think fantastic for those that want themselves to have a bit of edible allure, but without the smell radiating from them being so literally food. edit: I wore it again the next day and after a while it became more of an "ice cream dropped in a public swimming pool" smell that I really started to dislike unfortunately.

I have hundreds of perfumes in my collection and I do not have anything that smells like this. I am not getting any citrus. For me, it is straight up Ozonic+Cocoa+Honey. It may sound weird but it works, and I am usually not a fan of Ozonic. A very well done fragrance that keeps me reaching for my wrist to smell it again.

Je ne sais pas si ca vient de mon échantillon ou de mon nez mais je ne sens pas le chocolat cacao. Après quelques minutes il me rappelle un peu Phtaloblue sous certains aspects
