301 Jasmine & Sandalwood

On me, this is a jasmine soliflore. Very sunny, bright and joyful, all white flowers and no trace of sandalwood. It's 100 % safe and pretty, and the only hint of an edge is the clean, Ikea-esque flacon.

I really like it and always come back to this perfume. Stays quite a bit on my skin.

At first, this had a pretty heavy dose of the kind of candied jasmine popular in many scents (YSL Libre, Ameerat Al Arab, Narciso Rodriguez Jasmine Musk, Givenchy L'Interdit). I HATE that fake-ass jasmine, especially because I've had the chance to smell jasmine most of my life, and it's nothing like that fake sweet smell. Anyway, after about half a year, this perfume mainly smells a kind of musky *slightly soapy kind of musk) sandalwood with a hint of jasmine. Much better for me, as I will now be able to finish it, but it's the kind of molecular barely-there smell that many don't associate with perfume. Very "mindful and demure". Or as most people would say: "not worth the money". I'll use up my mini perfume of this, and then forget about it.

It's a bit boring to me; I just smell sandalwood and jasmine. And not the kid of jasmine I like either. Not the kind I have growing in the garden, but the other kind, that is warm and slightly oily, but just not quite what I want. Ameerat Al Arab by Asdaaf has plenty of the same type of jasmine, and it smells like a more "complete" perfume. So, if you like this one, I think you should really try Ameerat Al Arab too.

It’s very clean, calming and well.. Floral! It smells like a comforting hug from a female mother figure. Could easily pass as a hair product scent from a more expensive brand. Not bad, not mind blowing. Just clean and comforting.
