401 Lavender & Juniper

I spent quite a while looking for a perfume that gave me the feeling of a good sauna seance, something that had the vibe of an all-inclusive hotel wellness session, fluffy bathrobes, massage oil, all that jazz. Calming, clean, luxurious, but not powdery or nauseating. This perfume encapsulates all of that perfectly and I can't recommend it enough. 10/10

Such a gorgeous scent, but i will say that its unisex that leans a little more masculine, smell mostly the lavendernote and it does also smell a little like a gin.

I like it! Not a love just because it’s a bit to harsh in the opening. Then it fades to a soft musky and herbal tone that is very close to skin but lovely for a day at home or when you want something mild.

Aromatic anf earthy but still fresh due to the citruses. Like a crisp autumn day with a forest nearby. Very wearable and crowd pleasing!

I bought this while at a spa hotel and tought that this a dry herbal scent, but cozy scent. And it was the one my husband liked the most so he bought it for me : ) But now it has ended up in his wardrobe instead because it turns a bit masculine leaning after a while, just like the other reviews have commented on. The initial smell is veeery herbal and with an almost creamy wood scent, but after a while the iris, lavender note gets more prominent and it get a bit problematic and headache inducing for me, which I am pretty sad about because i really love the juniper in this. Almost smells like a dry gin that has been stored in oak barrels.

Why is it called lavender and juniper if it does not have a lavender note? I think I can smell it in the opening (or am I smelling sage + juniper?), but even the box quotes the following notes: top: juniper,citrus heart: iris,sage,sandalwood base: hay, musk By the way the opening is aromatic and leans very masculine, as someone said. Very soon the Iris and sandalwood start to prevail (those are the strongest notes to me, not the lavender, or juniper or salvia or whatever ) and it can more easily be perceived as unisex. The Iris is sweet and powdery to my nose. I am gonna be honest, I was expecting something else totally. I needed something aromatic and monodimensional where lavender prevails for layering. I was prepared for something a bit harsh and even cheap smelling... but It acutually smells good and not cheap at all. I still don' t know if I am happy or not. update: after using it a couple of times I concluded that I enjoy this scent because it has a very cozy feeling and smells high quality. It does lean masculine for most people stardands though. I see it very fitted for a man that enjoys rich smelling fragrances because it does not smell that "fresh". Longevity is about 4 hours on my skin.
