Ama

I have the 50 ml bottle. I was able to try all the perfumes (4) in samples and this is the one I like the most. It is an extract of perfume. It lasts for 9-10 hours, with medium-high intensity the first hour and then low to medium intensity. It is a floral perfume with successful aromas. At the top, although it has citric notes, it begins to mix with sweet floral notes, the tonka bean and vanilla is as if it gave it the sweetness of the flowers, the iris gives it a light powdery touch, light and elegant. Then we find floral notes that give it an exotic tone, white and sweet flowers, as time passes the floral notes become more present, over time the citrus notes dissipate and give way to musk and vanilla notes to join flowers. But always in a delicate, beautiful and elegant way. The background of the perfume, when it is already flush with the skin, does leave us a light touch of different types of amber together with vanilla. Unisex? no, I certainly believe that it is a perfume that is above all very feminine. Rare or difficult to carry? I think that the different floral tones, sweet tones and amber and musk background, I do not think that it has complicated aromas, but it is always better to know the niche perfumes before to see if it is a perfume that you like and that identifies you.

There is something about AMA that I cannot catch, it’s so beautiful, but elusive. But it’s so hard to say why? It opens with citrusy, and a bit peppery and herbaceous notes... then slowly transitions into an ambery, vanilla, woody and a hint of patchouli base. It reminds of something I smelled decades ago, in my teen years, at the end of summer, just before the last year of the high school started. But what exactly was it? I don’t know.... Then I think of sunny, warm, autumnal afternoons when I was at uni and had a tradition of eating huge doughnuts. They smelled of vanilla, powdered sugar, a bit of burnt oil and were filled with the most amazing rose petal jam ever. Somewhere in the air there were molecules of burned fallen leaves and hay. Ama stays on the skin for hours, elusive and opulent and yet never losing her charm. I’m smitten, I’m in awe, I want more of it and keep re-spraying my wrists, and yet somehow I never seem to get enough. Needless to say I ordered a full bottle. And one last thing, Neadea has an amazing, outstanding customer service. My sample parcel seemed to had been lost, but Ivana, the brand creator I believe, kept in touch regularly, chasing the couriers and providing updates on the progress and the package whereabouts. She is such a friendly and amazing lady. My full bottle has arrived. I’m in a blissful amber/vanilla/woody heaven!
