Suprême Nectar

Smell nothing like Velvet Tonka. This smells more like Heliotrope Gingembre by Fragonard with good amount of amber and a drizzle of honey. Quite sweet and gourmand, like a spicy honey almond pastry. It's nice, just not what I expected. I was looking for less oriental version of Velvet Tonka or non lactonic version Italica. So I am slightly disappointed. Also the Fragonard fragrance can be had for under $50 so I am not sure if this is worth the price but their packaging is definitely top notch. Update: This is way better quality than Heliotrope Gingembre and lasts very long. I think the pricing for this perfume is really good for what you get, a 100ml extrait. Even better if you get it at a 20% discount, I got mine from ZGO when they were running a 20% sale.

I love love this fragnance. The opening is pretty out there whith sweet boozy almonds similair to BDK Velvet Tonka. However it develops in this richer opulant honey skin scent with a better longevity. It reminds me of the summer my husband and I got together, there is something very familiar and very sexy about it. Longevity is not beast mode but because I love it so much I enjoy re-applying it after 5 or 6 hours. I hope they bring out a body lotion / oil and a hair fragnance as well since I just want to bath in this <3 Because it doesn't have an enormous sillage I totally wear it to the office, where leaving a trail (north western EU in tech) is a complete faux pas.

This is everything I wanted from BDK Velvet Tonka without the terrible eye-watering chemical smell. It’s basically the same powdery almond- tonka scent, but clearly uses superior ingredients, resulting in a much more natural smelling perfume. I personally already own a few scents with this aggressively powdery profile (something I enjoy), otherwise I would definitely purchase a bottle of this. Give this a try if you like nongourmand almond powder scents.

I get honey mixed with almond with this scent, I love it, it's one of the few scents that is actually sweet on my skin!!! I saw it at zgo perfumery when i visited a few weeks ago and fell in love. I promised myself i wasn't going to buy anything but walked out with a bottle of this juice of the gods, it's so nice and inviting it reminds me of San Francisco every time i smell it.

I'm in love. The honey, amber and almonds are a magical, cozy combination. Sweet, but elegant. All day, all night, all year fragrance for me. It might just be my very favourite in my collection, incredibly sad it's so expensive.

Oh this is so nice. Clean, almond baby powder, lightly floral skin scent. I don't sense honey, which would have been nice, but thankfully also no patchouli.

A sweet, but not sickly sweet, honey-covered almond

Honey almond pollen, sweet like you find it in nature. Very, very subtly green. It’s almost a your skin but sweeter kind of scent. I definitely get the baby powder references but paired against Montale’s Sweet Oriental Dream it is mild thanks to the sandalwood and patchouli. Longevity is decent and I personally would wear this in every season.

This is a beautiful sumptuous creamy almond and honeyed floral scent. The almond and almond blossom combined gives a facet of clean powderiness. Hyper feminine and spring summer appropriate despite having that rich depth and sweetness from amber and honey. This smells like nectar so the name is apt. A springtime elixir, if you will.

Smells like THOO Almond Harmony and BDK Velvet Tonka had a baby. Redundant for sure if you have BDK especially, but this may be a little bit easier to wear than that one. I like this but don't need it. I prefer Melipona.

Vanilla, almond, amber, musk, sweetness. It stays like oil on the skin. Beautiful, but very reminiscent of fragrant body powder or hair spray

This is an almond drowned in syrup. The kind of scent that will give you a dopamine shoot of sweetness and then will make you feel nauseous. I am a person who loves gourmand fragrances and almond notes, but I think this lacks subtlety and I personnally prefer Chemin d'amande. But for those addicted to sugar, Suprême Nectar is the dream.

Trying on a sample of Supreme Nectar and this pulls almond, bitter almond and all of the almonds on my skin!! Think Italica without all that sweetness, and it’s definitely reminiscent of BDK Velvet Tonka (which I decluttered because it was too much). I thought there’d be some honey to balance that almond but it’s not happening so that’s that... If you love almond, this is the one for you!! Me? I’ll stay away. These Nectar Olfactif bottles are so gorgeous though✨💛✨💛✨💛✨

My least favorite of the line. Bitter, play dough like almond, not much honey unfortunately. Weak lasting power and very little projection. Just like the reviewer below me, I too got a BDK Velvet Tonka vibe which is a fragrance I don’t care for but if you’re into those types of scents then you may like this.

Underrated sophistication. Beauty, bright and uplifting. Safe blind buy. It is a gem and often missed in between nieche fan
