This is no pre-pubescent cupcake bomb; it is a grown, complex, and quietly seductive beauty. Take off your Sweet Tooth name tag and and pop on your taste‐connoisseur hat. Don’t worry, we’ll pretend you suddenly recover from your olfactory disorders :) Wearing Javanilla feels like retreating into a creamy, shadowy cocoon and just a touch animalic. The ylang-ylang in the drydown is the polarising; while some dismiss it as “bug spray,” to my nose, it possesses that same addictive, off-kilter floral oddness found in Initio Psychedelic Love. It’s exactly that twist that keeps me coming back for a BUB. Maybe it needs further maceration? I have 2 bottles of Javanilla and the other one does not smell as pungent "bug spray" but rather earthy creamy vanilla. The Secret Sauce: Layering. Pair it with a powerhouse gourmand like Indult Tihota, Bianco Latte, Lush Super Milk or Super Fairy or Profumum Roma Gioiosa and it transforms into a plush, velvety cloud.

I agree with the reviewer below, unpleasant amber. Smells more like a fake ambergris; dirty, salty skin. I can't find the vanilla or yellow floral. The note break down looks like heaven but I don't find a resemblance to it - at all. Too many aroma chemicals in today's releases, trying to make a scent last forever. My impression is from 2 Luckyscent samples, not a large bottle.

Smells like one of those air fresheners they sell at a carwash. This perfumer also did Sandal Rice by Badar, which I recommend over this one.

Oh god this smells awful. At first sniff, it wasn't bad, but after about 30 seconds it smells very strong of astringent chemicals.

Nope. Smells like bugspray, I do NOT like this.

Harsh aromachemicals. Something slightly sweet and then a ton of fake amber, something like ambroxan, ambergris, amberwood? I don't know but it is the same crappy synthetic tone that we have been getting in niche perfumes for the past 3-4 years. Harsh, aggressive against the nostrils, burning feeling in my sinuses... Enough of that please! can the perfumers stop using those cheap aromachemicals that nobody really enjoys bust just get to tolerate? Disgusting.

Unpleasant amber. Can’t smell anything else. The 250 pieces they released “only” will be more than enough.
