Midnight Tryst

Queen Ravenna's scent. Dark, animalic, yet sweet and mysterious. cloves, cinnamon, chestnut, vanilla, musk, patchouli, amber, and gardenia. Narcissus kept quite scary and floats unconditionally to darken the scene. The magnolia gives the impression of lily of the valley, which is my worse kind of flower at the moment, and i can't detect any civit, or castoreum! it's just the cloves, narcissus, chestnut, & musk that give that animalic boost burst that you get all through it's stages. Interesting plant slight animalic yet sweet. I don't see it sexy as Neil is seeing it, but i believe it is extremely sexy for the ones who doesn't like fragrance and loves body odor. Edit (2nd Oct 2019) Just now i realized this blend! the warmth and the hotness of the cloves with the slight sweetness of the cinnamon makes this blend on fire! The amber is rubbed so harshly with cloves to form fire as i do sense the heat overcome my skin somehow. This blend would do miracles in cold days indeed as it's almost summer end now but i feel the heat of the spices on my skin, Very interesting indeed.

Before I read the notes, I would have called this a heavy, indolic white floral. Which I love, but is not for every time and place. Very high quality, long lasting, and good projection. I may spring for a bottle one of these days, except that it is one of those frags that needs to be saved for special occasions. After reading the notes, I suddenly sense the cinnamon and cloves in a way that read just as heady and warm before. Funny how the nose-brain connection works!

This is an animalic beast. Don't even come close to it, if you think fragnrance should smell clean. It's as animalic as Ava Luxe's Kama mixed with Indian unburnt incense sticks. The thing is: It's totally feminine, if you ask me. For me personally unwearable. --- I ordered the samples maybe 4-6 years ago and now I really see, how my nose developed and I am able to appreciate NM frags much more. All the frags I smelled are strong, stinky and really like from a bygone era. Vintage lovers should look deeper into Neil Morris frags, if you ask me.
