Jasmine

This is such a beautiful, sweet and sexy jasmine fragrance, in the same vein of Jasmin de Pays, and the original 1937 Le Galion Jasmin. It's actually a little closer to the Le Galion, as it has that same aspect of fresh and dirty (read that as erotic), at the same time, which is how real jasmine blossoms smell in nature. In JdP the indoles don't stick around quite that long, but here, as in LG, they are there until the scent disappears. And doing a disappearing act too soon is unfortunately the downside with this scent, along with sitting too close to the skin - much closer than other oils I purchased from this house. This is way too fleeting and became a skin scent within an hour of wear only picking it up when I smelled directly where applied. That's too bad because I really love it. It smells every bit as beautiful as the more expensive jasmine perfumes I own. From what I understand, these oils do get stronger over time, but I also think this, like the Gardenia oil from this house, needs heat to bloom. So, I'll put this sample aside to try in a warmer season but as of now a fb is off the table since I already have the two aforementioned scents that smell almost the same and perform much better than this.

I've tested jasmine oils from Outremer, Al Rehab, and Kuumba Made. This marks another win for Nemat. Easily the most well-rounded of these jasmine oils. The oil captures every facet of jasmine perfectly, without smelling shrill or otherwise discordant. Billowy, creamy, lush, redolent, smooth, sweet. Not the dirtiest, but not clean by any stretch. Fresh, sweet, and indolic in perfect harmony. It's as though I am smelling authentic jasmine blossoms at the florist. On the whole I am impressed with Nemat. Fantastic fragrance house.

Such a lovely classic jasmine scent. Very fresh and kind of musky.

Much more indolic than the Morga Indian jasmine. Smells exactly like Jasmine de Pays. If you like indolic jasmine this is a great and very inexpensive way to go. Heat does make these oils bloom more. I stood next to my fireplace early this morning testing these and the warmth made them sillage very well.
