Dark Matcha

This is one of the nicer tea fragrances. There is a great, natural, deep note of matcha which smells great, not sweet, just rich and concentrated. At the same time there are other notes of green tea that remind me of other green tea fragrances that I don't like, like the Arden green tea. I wish there was more of the opening matcha which is so lovely, but still this is a fun cologne for matcha lovers.

Olfactive Diary Entry #39 I just came across the entire range of Neo Cologne fragrances, which was a delightful discovery. My overall impression is that they are simplistic, yet, well-blended fragrances, that deliver way more than the classic definition of "cologne" usually would. The staying power is great. On skin, they last up to 6-8 hours, but on hair or clothes, they linger for 24 hours. The sillage is intimate, so the scent stays close to your skin. The whole range is alcohol-free, unisex, and contains a minimum of 85% natural ingredients. The bottles are refillable and recyclable. Dark Matcha is a very decent scent for the cost of this perfume. It's a simple, yet intriguing fig-centered scent, with notes of green tea, and a little bit of sweetness. It is airy, bright and uplifting, yet cool. The brand refers to it as "musky" but I am truly getting zero musk here, and that is a good thing. It is a bit similar to Avgoustos by Korres, but that is a more complex fragrance compared to this. Either way, for any lover of fig or tea scents, I would definitely recommend this!
