Lavender Mist

Olfactive Diary Entry #40 I just came across the entire range of Neo Cologne fragrances, which was a delightful discovery. My overall impression is that they are simplistic, yet, well-blended fragrances, that deliver way more than the classic definition of "cologne" usually would. The staying power is great. On skin, they last up to 6-8 hours, but on hair or clothes, they linger for 24 hours. The sillage is intimate, so the scent stays close to your skin. The whole range is alcohol-free, unisex, and contains a minimum of 85% natural ingredients. The bottles are refillable and recyclable. Lavender Mist was my instant favorite from the whole range. The name is a bit misleading though, as I am not getting lavender here. Rather it is a more violet-y, purple flower fragrance, with notes of baby powder and dry, heavier musk. There is also something vegetal here. Carrot? Overall, it's very enjoyable, and could easily pass for a niche fragrance. It is purely unisex, and I enjoy it on myself, yet I would enjoy it even more on a man. It passes as an easy-to-wear fragrance, but there is something more complex and alluring about it. I keep coming back for sniffs. Truly a bargain at this price point!

A really nice cologne, a smart combination of notes that makes this a truly excellent fragrance. It reminds me of the smell of old books, in the best way possible. Overall this smells natural and pleasant. A great woody cologne which is niche level.
