Inferno e Paradiso

Somehow on my skin, and even my clothes, this didn’t last even 45min; 2ml decant sample. No idea why, the scent is rather nice, but with this longevity it’s a shame that it doesn’t seem to work for me personally. I thought maybe I had gone noseblind to it, but others around me when asked also barely felt anything.

Inferno e Paradiso is all about plums and incense. A quite sweet, fruity and somewhat smoky scent. The name indicates something highly dualistic and very dramatic - and it sort of is, but in a very subtle way. It's not as dark as I thought it would be, it's actually a rather soft scent, but it still has that dark feel - if that makes any sense. The scent is on the inoffensive side and very wearable. I have no problems using this during daytime, at work or doing chores. It adds some mystery without being to strong, spicy or cloying. A great and very pleasant allrounder for fall and winter. The drydown is warm, woody and ambery, but the plum and incense is still there, sweetly lingering. It's a scent that doesn't change dramatically throughout the notes. It just get's a bit deeper, smoother and warmer. Sillage is quite strong when you first spray it, but quickly becomes moderate. The longevity is good. On me it lasts all day. I really like this scent. It's actually a very comforting and cozy perfume - although the name might make you believe otherwise.
