Madagascar Vanilla

Yessssss Want a great standard... ‘vanilla bean ice cream’ type vanilla that lasts king for a mist? Madagascar Vanilla by NEST is yo girl. Not too sweet, just right. For a mist, the longevity is impressive (probably around 5-6 hrs so moderate I’d say). The price is highhhh I knowwww...but I would say it’s worth it. You get exactly what it says you get. Good for layering, good by itself. It leans slightly mature, and smells sophisticated. It smells like what (I know it’s specific but let me cook) Petit Pot Vanilla bean French dessert tastes like. Lemme tell you who she is: She’s an old money girl...she wears understated clothes but definitely wears a cardigan and ballet flats. She tends to wear navy blue, white, and black in rotation. Will I add to arsenal? Yep! When I feel like forking over the cash.

The Madagascar Vanilla from NEST is one of my favorite vanillas EVER. I couldn't afford the oil at the time so I got the body spray and I'm not upset by it at all. It's a strong but soft and clean vanilla that's not overly sweet but airy and effortless. I really recommend giving this vanilla a shot, you can smell it at both Sephora and Ulta!

Smells exactly like the oil. I like that they made the body sprays to go with the oil. Great for layering. If you like tropical coconut vanillas this is a nice simple one. All the fragrances in this line are nice to have for those occasions where you want to smell nice and wear a perfume but you will not bother anyone.

Light, fresh, sweet, elegant vanilla, I use this in combination with their perfume oil and EDP (which I kid you not lasts 18h+ on my skin) and I smell divine. It’s in my top vanilla scents

It's a vanilla but a very coconut centric one. Which gives it a more beach-y summer-y quality. It's simple, but non-synthetic/good quality, and great for layering.

This smells cheap and a bit plasticky due to the coconut. It's also very light and doesn't perform well, which is to be expected of a body mist, but there certainly are some out there that are much stronger than this. I would say don't waste your money. I much prefer their perfumes like Vanilla Bourbon and Golden Nectar. Also I'm so outraged that the oil version of this is over $200AUD. Like whaaat? Who is buying that? Seriously. It's confusing because I've heard perfume youtubers referring to the oil as "affordable". Just goes to show how out of touch they are, and how these influencers and companies will try to sell you quite literally anything for hundreds of dollars in the hopes that the "hype" will distract you from the fact that the product is completely inferior. Not going to lie, this body mist seems no different than a $5 vanilla mist from the supermarket, except that it costs $74!!!

don't bother buying this if you loved the oil version, it smells very cheap & like alcohol in comparison and you'd just be better off with the oil. however, the sillage is quite strong and this can be worn in any season, on any occasion. very generic vanilla which isn't necessarily bad

Smells just like the perfume oil. The coconut is unfortunately too musty on me, though it deepens after about 2 hours of wear. Has minimal sillage and lasts about 4 hours.

I tested this early today in ulta and it smells good until it dries down and then the coconut note smells a bit like crayons

This is okay. Its a very mild vanilla. I like it as a base with oil and lotion, then apply perfume. Rate: 5.5/10

This is a really delicious vanilla coconut scent that. Can be worn year round because the coconut isn’t too strong , it just doesn’t last more then ten mins on me the Longevity is really bad with this mist and it’s priced way too high . The plastic bottle and mechanism is cheap feeling and looking too.

There’s something really screechy and sharp in this and I don’t know what it is but it makes me sneeze. It’s too bad because I love a good vanilla coconut fragrance but it’s just not smooth and creamy enough for me.

Nest’s Madagascar Vanilla does not enter the room loudly. It arrives like warmth finding skin. The opening is creamy, soft, and golden, but not childish. This is not vanilla dressed as sugar. It feels closer to the inside of a vanilla pod split open beneath low light, rich and smooth with that quiet darkness real vanilla carries when it is allowed to be itself. There is a floral breath underneath it, almost hidden, like vanilla orchid pressed between warm hands. Then the coconut appears, not tropical in a loud holiday way, but soft and milky, rounding the edges until the whole scent feels like comfort with intention. The sillage sits close at first, intimate rather than demanding. It does not chase people across the room. It waits until they step nearer, then rewards them for noticing. There is something quietly dangerous in that. A fragrance that does not beg for attention often earns more of it. The longevity is where it becomes seductive. It clings to the skin in a slow, warm way, becoming softer as the hours pass, more personal, more lived-in. By the end, it feels less like perfume and more like memory left on fabric. This is the kind of fragrance I would wear in the evening, somewhere dimly lit, where conversations are low and eyes linger longer than they should. A quiet dinner. A late drink. A moment where you are not trying to be seen by everyone, only remembered by the right person. The allure it creates is not obvious seduction. It is closer to invitation. Madagascar Vanilla makes the wearer feel warm, composed, and quietly unreachable. Sweet, but not innocent. Soft, but not simple. It leaves the impression of someone who knows their power and does not need to raise their voice to prove it.
