Santa Barbara Strawberry

Instant love. Like eating one of those little strawberry bon bon candies that your grandma always had in her purse. Super realistic sweet syrupy strawberry jam with a hint of shampoo. It projects just enough without being too in your face. My first impression was that it smelled a little perfume-y, but it get juicier and sweeter as it dries down. Perfectly toes the line of being too juvenile, appropriate for all ages. This is what I wanted Strawberry Letter to smell like. The perfect strawberry for me and it may be too early to say, but this might be in my top 10 perfumes. Nest is so good, but they need to hire a new social media marketing person because I heard nothing about this. I instantly purchased when I saw it on Sephora's website. Edit - I've been using this now for a few weeks and it's so nice for layering. I've layered with tea scents, musks, vanillas, etc. It's extremely versatile and the longevity is great.

I’m not usually a fruity-scent lover, but this was a rare FB purchase at first sniff. No regrets, loving it immensely. On me, it is a strawberry that doesn’t feel childish, which is odd because it is reminiscent of the kiss-kiss Strawberry Shortcake doll I had when I was little. There are florals and a slight woodiness mixed in to give it substance, but it is a natural, bright strawberry that just sparks joy. All the mango scents out there just haven’t been working for me because they come off with an odor on me, but this fruity has none of that. I ordered the oil version to help longevity, but the spray version alone does last at least 4 hours with noticeable projection. I love the bottle- so easy to fit in my bag, and I love they have travel sizes, too. Will update once I get more wearings in, but, so far, I love wearing this. Even if no one else likes it, this one’s for me.

Such a nice fragrance, it reminds me of those children's strawberry lip glosses, very sweet and fruity, almost nostalgic. I love it, but I would not describe it as a photo-realistic strawberry scent. Definitely find it to be a summery, daytime fragrance, maybe a little childish for someone looking for a mature scent. I love wearing this during the summer, just going out and running errands. The smell makes me feel so energetic and girly, but be warned this only lasts about an hour on me before it starts to disappear, which is very disappointing. For spending around $100 for only 1.7 oz of product, I was expecting a longer lasting scent. After only having it for maybe two months, the dent I've made in the bottle from constant reapplication is a little alarming.

Sooo bright and uplifting. I've wished for this ever since I started using the perfume oil almost two years back. So happy to finally have an EDP with a sprayer, it smells almost identical to the oil, but it is much stronger. It is a bit overpowering, one or two puffs is enough for me, but it's a gorgeously sweet strawberry that the likes of Her and Miami Shake fall short on by mixing in so many other notes. I prefer adding my own base to this ripe strawberry based on my mood, I find it pairs beautifully with anything plainly milky, musky or powdery.

Snatched up the body mist version so fast! It's a really fruity and sweet, clean strawberry scent. Almost like I accidentally spilled strawberry syrup/juice on me. The sweetness dissipates in a few minutes and the scent lingers on clothes quite beautifully. It's not musky, but the dry-down smells like what I imagine others describe as "clean-musky" to smell like, because musky perfumes otherwise smell like old dust on me. But this perfume is just gorgeous, not too juvenile, not cloying, just perfect clean fruity, sparks joy every time I sniff it.
