Wild Poppy

It reminds me so much of NOLLIE by Pacsun. Clean, sweet and fresh. Almost identical, I still remember the smell. The rose in the dry down is soft, not an "in your face" rose. I didn't get that much rose in Nollie. But they are super similar. If you ever owned it you will really LOVE this one. Perfect for wine parties, school, church, brunch, date night, a girls night out, nothing too wild. The bottle is a total turn off, in my opinion. They have it as if all it had were flowers. It's not all that floral. It smells like JUICY green apples, so good. I received a NEST gift from Sephora for my BIRTHDAY. In it came this perfume, in the rollerball, the cutest mini candle EVER and another roller ball, mini size. I would definitely purchase a bottle of this. It does last. TRUST ME. I don't now if there's a difference between this and the actual spray bottle but I don't believe so. If anything, it would probably last longer and be more potent. Perfect all year round. Very feminine, great for all ages. Karen Smith probably smells like this, even when eating TACO BELL. It's a really pretty perfume. The raspberry comes through as it settles, and fades to whipped cream. Sweet and creamy but still very fresh and cozy. BISOUS

Wild Poppy is a delicious fruity floral scent that surprisingly packs a punch. The pear, raspberry, and apricot are in harmony and it's straight up yummy! I enjoy the addition of rose and jasmine, but this fragrance isn't really a floral perfume, the rose and jasmine take a background seat to the fruity notes. Wild Poppy smells like a super elevated body spray from Pacifica or Victoria's Secret and I don't exactly hate that...essentially Wild Poppy isn't going to change much on your skin. This scent would be beautiful in the height of summer and I can't wait to test it out again. I would love to add this fragrance to my collection, but I think I would only buy it on a good deal, like 50% off. It's one that I would want to overspray to increase the longevity and projection and therefore it's more expensive than I personally think it's worth. That doesn't change the fact that I think Wild Poppy is a super great fruity-floral fragrance. Especially good for those that don't want a lot of vanilla, patchouli, or caramel. If you want a break from the Juicy Couture and Ariana Grande scents, but enjoy that same vibe, then check out Wild Poppy.

got a travel spray from sephora & im in love. after testing all the perfumes with my guy friend we concluded this was the best one, the designer ones all look gorgeous but smell like either cat piss or a new car to us or made him die coughing/sneezing lol. but this is REALLY lovely!! im sensitive to perfumes so i dont like stuff thats insanely strong, headache-inducing or makes me gave allergies cus im allergic to everything lol. but ive been wearing it for days with no issues at all. its a nice clean pretty floral fruity scent. i do love pear and the rest of the notes; the body mist ive used for years and will continue to do so has pear notes so they compliment eachother well when i use it to freshen up my clothes. all in all i love this scent, i didnt want something that changes into 30 weird things throughout the day, this keeps me smelling fresh clean yummy pretty and approachable all day. :) update: this is very strong to me now almost Febreeze level, i literally keep it in my car to refresh my car lol i cant wear it anymore too strong

I really do enjoy this one and it will be perfect for spring. I do wish however, that is had a little bit of musk or Amber...or woody notes. Just a little tiny bit of something to ground this otherwise very airy fairy sort of scent. But this is just my personal preference. I get 100% rose and a big juicy pear. That’s all I can detect on me. I will definitely be wearing this one for Spring, but I will most likely doctor it up a tiny bit with some sort of a stronger base. I would definitely recommend if fruity florals are appealing to you. Edit to say that I have now worn this one several times and it definitely gets more lovely with time. I can detect the raspberry and Jasmine now that I couldn’t quite before. It’s one of my standouts this Spring to bring cheer. I absolutely recommend this one for spring.

This is the first signature scent I ever picked and I absolutely LOVED it. My friends would always ask me what I'm wearing and every partner I've been with would comment about how much they loved the way I smelled. You only needed about 2 sprays and it would stay with you all day. It was never overbearing but it definitely lasted. I instantly feel at peace when I smell it and is such an inviting scent, perfect for everyday wear or even special occasions. When I first sprayed you get fresh, light and bright florals like a bouquet of roses, but as it starts to dry down you get warm raspberry. The perfect blend of fruity and floral, I've had two people get it off of my advice and they both loved it. Would highly recommend

i love this scent so much! very wearable & inoffensive, perfect for the office or running errands on a crisp spring day. on my skin i mostly get the raspberry and rose, but somehow the combination is really clean (?), veering almost into freshie territory. longevity isn't great on its own - it becomes a skin scent after an hour or two, but someone close to you (maybe 6 inches or so away) could smell it. layering with lotion helps with both projection and longevity. despite my deep attachment to this perfume, i have a hard time justifying the price. i'll repurchase when i run out (solely because it has become a staple in my collection), but i definitely feel there are similar scents out there that might be better.

Most Nest fragrances I’ve tried have been sample rollerballs, but I have this one in a sample spray as well, and WOW what a difference does that make with the sillage (it’s moderate here rather than intimate). The longevity is also seemingly better. For being such a fruity fragrance with no heavy base notes, I’m honestly surprised this one has lasted me a few hours so far without needing a touch-up. It’s a beautiful scent for spring and summer, refreshing and feminine. I could see this one getting a lot of action in the warmer months. I especially love the apricot note in this, it’s distinct and makes me really love this more than your typical raspberry/rose scents.

The two Nest fragrances I can't get enough of are Wild Poppy and Wisteria Blue. This fragrance is a gorgeously sweet almost tropical Grasse Rose that sparkles. This might smell like other perfumes (I don't have that experience; I find this distinct among the rose perfumes I have tried and own), but I haven't gotten as many compliments on any other rose scent as I do from Wild Poppy. Every time I wear it, both the hubby and my son compliment it to no end, "what IS that? It smells so good!" Sexy and light with amazing longevity. For me, it doesn't go soapy on my skin ... I don't get any bitter or sour. Only sweet without being overly so.

I will never understand the negativity towards this fragrance. I bought this years ago as recommended by a Sephora clerk and it's been my go to since. I get compliments on it all the time. A beautiful blend of florals with a tangy, juicy scent of berries. It gives off a very good balance. The first spray shows up as a bit more fruity for top notes before fading into a fruity floral afterward. Later on you'll definitely smell more floral notes with the dry off. It lasts a long time too. A few sprits will have you smelling good till the end of the day. Could not recommend it enough to the fruity floral girlies.

I got a sample of this at Sephora over the weekend. I wore it 3 days to make sure about my opinion. I can't stop smelling the empty atomizer! I had to order this today. On me it is very long lasting. An entire day or more. Sillage is moderate. It pulls very rose heavy on me. It is a very Tart or tangy rose smell. My daughter hugged me an said I smelled like a pie. I plan on wearing this a lot this spring and summer. Honestly, it smells so good it may become a new signature scent for me. Whoever likes tart fruity roses... give this a try. Mmmm

To me the pear and raspberry stand out the most, a pleasant mixture of sweet and tartness. The longevity is quite good on me, I got a good six hours from it. This fragrance is a bit linear, it didn’t change much on my skin but does ultimately dry down and fade into what I think is jasmine. Strangers really seem to like it, and it’s office friendly. 6/15/22 Revisited this gem today and it’s giving me the cleanest lemon zest with the pear, still love this one:)

I love this perfume so much, especially for spring. It is soft, floral, and sweet without being overpowering or nauseating. I don't agree with other reviews stating it would only be good for teen girls. I'm in my 30s and this is my favorite spring scent I own. My only complaint is that I wish it lasted longer and had better sillage. It's barely noticeable 4 hours into wearing it. I bought a travel spray so I can top up when I'm out and about and that helps!

I am team overspray all day. So projection and sillage were not a problem with this whatsoever. I kept landing compliments. Here's the thing, smelling it directly nose to skin, there was a bitterness that I couldn't rightly identify. However, in the air, this is astonishingly beautiful. It's not complex. There wasn't much by way of a scent journey. But it was beautiful. Definitely a TJ Maxx winner

I loooove this. It's my first and only Nest perfume (for now) and it's great. Very fruity and tangy, yet sweet. It's very different from all other fruity/floral perfumes I have tried. It's girly and a little unrefined, and it's so fun!! Smells like the mixed drink of your dreams. I don't reach for it as much as others, but it's really fun and unique to my collection.

On me I’m getting a linear very strong black tea. I love it! Definitely not what I was expecting based on reviews and the notes listed, I am not getting any fruit?. I was expecting it to be the least favourable of the mini set I bought but I have to say it has moved very quickly to 1st place. (Indigo and Golden Nectar are the others in my set and I really like all 3)

I love this one. Its the perfect balance of fruity and florals. Definitely leans more fruity. I did notice that my first bottle was a tad more musky (not a musky fragrance at all though, just compared to the other), whereas my second bottle was more tangy. I own two currently so i can confidently compare them. Still love it though. Got many compliments.

This is one of my favorites for work. It's not too sweet, and almost has a spicy kick to it on me (which happens with a lot of fragrances). I have Marc Jacobs Dot and it does feel like there are some similarities, but Dot often opens a little screechy on me. In the dry-down it settles nicely, but this one is much more reliable. Love it!

Big pear and some raspberry come through right away, then a lovely jasmine on the dry-down. I'm not familiar with grasse rose as a note, but if it's there I think it's pretty subtle-- and I usually find any rose note to be completely overpowering. The jasmine is just /so/ nice in this. Smells expensive.

One of the happiest, juiciest fruity florals I own. I reach for this one for a mood boost. Super girly and very sweet. I love the tangy notes I smell a few moments after spraying. It reminds me of a fruity, fizzy pink champagne cocktail with pulpy raspberry.

I received a deluxe sample from Sephora and I’m really enjoying it. This is the love child of Acqua di gio and VS love spell. The most prominent note is the raspberry but there is definitely an aquatic vibe to it. It’s nice, but maybe just a tad overpriced.

this is a very well balanced fruity freshy, I've been looking for a perfume that smells like shampoo and the opening and first hour of wearing this is very pretty. it disappears on me during dry down, but I love the clean smell

This is such a happy scent. Shower fresh and energetic. I don't know what a poppy smells like, so I can't speak to that, but it perks me when I need a mood booster. Moderate staying power, better than expected.

If you’re looking for a photorealistic scent of poppy you’ll not get it here.. because poppies actually don’t really smell like anything, there’s no distinct floral scent from them. Most ‘poppy’ perfumes are usually a rose, violet and iris accord of some sort. It’s more the idea of a poppy that people have a scent memory association with that’s been planted by perfumers over the years with words and imagery. Think Kenso Flower for example. A floral scent with an imagery that evokes the idea of a field of poppies or an english country garden filled with wild flowers. So in effect, Nest had carte blanche to create a perfume that was their vision of wild poppies. And it really is very pretty and delightful. Wild Poppy opens bright, juicy and fruity. It’s a sweet tropical scent of pear and rose, a little tart raspberry there too. It’s clean and shampooy and very pleasing to the nose. But as it settles into the dry down this gorgeous soft, round almost creamy apricot, apricot blossom and a muted rose starts to develop on my skin and here it is really lovely. It’s stays bright yet has this softness to it, almost a little hint of powder. The familiarity is what has me wanting to constantly bring my nose to my skin. It took me all day to figure out what the scent memory is was, it was ‘Sweet Suds’ My Little Pony and the Perfume Palace from my 80s childhood. And I very much loved whiffing this. This scent had good longevity and a lovely apricot blossom and muted rose scent bubble throughout the day with very enjoyable breezes of bright fruity floral rosey apricot catching my nose regularly. It’s an adorable scent - feminine and pretty. On its own, I *think* I would find it a generic fruity floral, but I am struggling to get beyond the scent association and see past the idea of adult me smelling of this when there’s such a strong connection to child me. The memories triggered excite my brain and nose, but it doesn’t drive me to want wear this. However, I’ve a funny feeling I’ll cherish this little miniature rollerball and take it out every now and then for a wee whiff!

Hmm, this is interesting! I've tried a few Nest fragrances in the past and while I liked them, they didn't move me enough to purchase. I wasn't expecting much from Wild Poppy, just thinking it wouldn't likely be horrible judging by the notes, but I have to say that the more I smell this one, the more intrigued I become. I haven't put it on my skin yet, but what I'm smelling on the clean cotton pad I sprayed it on is a zesty tart/tangy slightly sour rose backed by candy-sweet fruit notes (I smell the raspberry and apricot mixed together first and then the pear). As it's drying down, it continues to smell tart (kind of 'zippy' if that makes sense) and I'm getting whiffs of green (perhaps like a rose stem or the leaves) and something slightly metallic (not off-putting at all, just a noticeable undertone that doesn't disturb the overall aura of the scent). I think this one will do well in the heat, so I'll probably wait to try it on skin as the weather continues to warm up and then edit this later, but so far, I'm impressed. EDIT: So, finally tried this one on my skin and it's even more of a strong like for me, surprisingly! Still zippy and fresh with tart and sweet notes all jumbling together harmoniously (this one does not smell 'messy' as a lot of new releases these days smell to me) and the dry down is nice on me. The rose is less sour on skin and that metallic smell is toned way down. Glad I finally got around to spraying it on me; now to hunt around for a well-priced bottle! :)

This is a very juicy and cheerful perfume! It is also good to wear for day-time dates. You will get a lot of compliments. Despite its name, this perfume predominantly smells like roses. It’s a very clean light scent with a bit of sweetness to it. The sweet scent is well-balanced with the tartness from the fruit notes. This scent can be a little strong in the first few minutes so don’t use too many sprays at first. Once it dries down, the scent is quite light and leans a bit more on the rose scent with a slight citrusy undercurrent. The artwork on the bottle is also beautiful. The art on the bottles are what lured me to try out the Nest perfumes in the first place. I’m glad discovered this house because almost all of the perfumes that Nest makes smell amazing. I also own Delina by PDM and honestly...Nest Wild Poppy smells so similar to Delina I would consider it a dupe. There is a slight sourness/tartness in Wild Poppy that Delina does not have though, so keep that in mind. Nest perfumes are relatively affordable too, so if you just want something reliable with a low barrier to entry into the world of perfume, you should try out the Nest perfumes first. You can even try layering this with a lychee body mist or a rose perfume oil to get closer to the Delina profile.

This is a lovely and playful fragrance that layers juicy, jammy red fruit over a light floral base. At first sniff I get nothing but sticky red Kool-Aid, which almost made me write Wild Poppy off as one of those childish body sprays I'd let my daughter play with. However, as the sharper juicy notes dry down, the rose and jasmine begin to peek through. The combination reminds me of sipping a cup of fruity red punch next to a fresh bouquet at a summer bridal shower. There is nothing really complex or outstanding about this fragrance, but it is pleasant and I have received a few compliments on it. If you are sensitive to jasmine as I am, I would advise not spraying this heavily or too near your face, or it may become cloying and cause a headache. But a light spritz on the wrist or back of the neck keeps the jasmine in the background allows me to enjoy the juicy goodness for as long as eight hours, which is quite impressive for a fruity floral. All in all a very nice scent.

Top notes are lovely, with sweet pear, raspberry, and a hint of sweet citrus. They smell somewhat familiar (from where, I don't know, because I have tried the Hugo Boss fragrances that others are comparing this to). The drydown happens fast, transitioning to musk and then to a sort of chypre musk with a faint metallic tinge if you put your nose to your skin and breathe deeply. I don't know if this is supposed to be the perfumer's interpretation of a dry rose, because I don't feel like I'm smelling rose in this one. Thankfully, the metallic/chypre phase is a short-lived middle, and the true drydown is sweet, fruity, and slightly musky, although it sits on the skin and doesn't project.

From using up a 2ml in 48 hrs, my thoughts are pretty clear about it. The opening is quite bright and pretty. There's a sweetness to it but it's not sticky sweet because the rose balances it out. There's a tartness to it that's very fresh and enjoyable. It quickly becomes an intimate scent on me. I think this could be a good every day pefume for spring and summer, and even a good work fragrance as it's not offensive to the nose. Overall i feel like I have similar fragrances in my collection to where I don't feel the need for this, as it would be redundant. It's a common composition to me but still a pretty one.

This is a super weird/interesting fragrance to me, because how much I like it depends 100% on where I am in my menstrual cycle for some reason. For about a week it makes me physically nauseous, then it's pretty nice for a week, then it's the best thing I've ever smelled, then it's just meh again, and repeat. I've never had such a varied response to a scent before! During the Good Week, my favorite quality is definitely the crisp tartness, like an underripe apricot or a sour apple. It's a little wink of executive that keeps the fragrance youthful instead of juvenile, sweet instead of sickly.

This one is really growing on me. When I first smelled it, I liked it fine. “That’s a pleasant fruity floral,” I thought, and that’s about it. With subsequent wears though, I’m realizing how well this works with my body chemistry. It’s sweet and sharp in a bright, tangy sort of way. I can’t say I have any new insights as I can’t claim that this is a particularly unique or innovative fragrance; it just happens to smell really good on me. I can see myself going for this any time I want to smell “pretty.”

Blended aquatic fruity floral that I’d almost call “juice”. The raspberry and pear are mousse prominent to me. It’s not tart or sharp at all, but clean, soft, innocent, fresh. I think of a really nice shampoo (it’s not soapy) or a girl sitting in the sun with a basket of flowers in pastel clothes on a summer day. I really like this one. Simple, but to me that’s what makes it nice. I’m not a person in a beautiful perfume in this, but a person that smells attractive and kind.

I love the tart opening! Sadly, the tartness lasts all of half a minute before it becomes your run-of-the-mill fruity floral. Projection was moderate, but I had to reapply a couple of times throughout the day. It’s not the best Nest fragrance, and because it’s just another fruity floral, I think there are better deals out there. Overall, this is a lovely fragrance, but it’s boring. I have a 6ml rollerball that I will happily use up, but I won’t be purchasing a full bottle.

I'd describe this fragrance as a fun fruity floral that's rather sparkly and uplifting. It opens up tart and juicy but it softens in the dry down. It’s very wearable, cheerful, youthful and good for warm weather, casual wear, happy moods. Although the opening tartness can feel a bit sharp or synthetic and it lacks the depth and longevity that I enjoy in my skin-musks/creamy florals, I still wear it sparingly for when I want something bright, cheerful and girl-next-door.

When I got a sample of this, I expected to smell poppy. This smells like someone sliced open and juiced a ripe pear, opened a jar of raspberry jam, and poured both over an armful of roses. Personally, I like where it's going, but it's definitely more of a spring/summer scent. Longevity was maybe 4-6 hours, but that's par for the course for Nest fragrances on me. Sillage started out strong but faded to a skin scent faster than I'd have liked.

not a big fan of florals but i love fruit. this one performed so well on me. it’s so clean, fresh, and pretty. of course it won’t work for everyone, but this smells so good. it has that expensive smell and it lasts forever. it’s also a bit sweet too which i love. although people don’t like this one too much i actually liked it. it reminds me a bit of Chanel though. but there’s something about Nest perfumes that i really like.

I'm actually really surprised that I like this. I got it as a free birthday gift from Sephora As others have said, this is reminiscent of something from the early to mid 2000s but I think that's why I like it. Also, I live in a very hot climate and this is beautiful in the heat. I get a lof of the apricot and raspberry I might get a small size of this as I need more fragrances to wear in the heat

A lovely candied floral. The pear and jasmine notes give vanilla-like basenotes to balance out the sharp brightness of the raspberry. As it sits on the skin, it melts into a more gourmand scent, but with just enough green notes to keep it bright. A bit on the youthful side - I'll enjoy it now but probably won't repurchase as I approach my 40's... 4.2 out of 5 stars

A very average floral scent to me, aside from one thing. For some reason, it has a very distinct sour kick to my nose. Not entirely sure where it's coming from, as none of the notes would really indicate any sour smells to me. However, it isn't an unpleasant sour, Quite the opposite, really. Certainly a safe blind buy if you're a fan of slightly generic florals.

This is a tart floral perfume. I wouldn't say the tartness comes from raspberry, because the sourness in raspberries doesn't taste like this smells lmao. I think the tartness is maybe from the apricot like one that isn't fully ripened yet and still sour. Or maybe some kind of sparkling apricot juice that has some tartness to it.

Cute, sweet, tart, and happy. Not the most dimensional or exciting but it’s a fun warm weather scent you could probably wear anywhere. It does smell similar to Wonderland Peony (same perfumer so makes sense) but it is sweeter and more floral than that one. It’s also reminiscent of something you’d find at the mall in the 2000s.

got a sample of this as a little christmas gift but only really started to appreciate it now. very fresh and tangy from the fruit notes and pulls a bit sharp on my skin. also decent sillage and a crowd pleaser which was something i wasn’t expecting. i probably wouldn’t get a full bottle but a good choice for spring / summer !

This is a sweet floral that I bought for spring and summer. It's not remarkable but it is pleasant and safe for most occasions. All I smell is light floral. The fruity notes only last a few minutes. I probably won't reup on this once I'm done with the bottle, but I don't regret buying it and will wear it often this summer.

This is a light, airy, happy scent. The pear and rose pair wonderfully together, and the raspberry is not jammy or cloying, which I appreciate. I prefer my scents to be anchored with a deeper woody note, and I find that lacking in this. A bit of cedar or sandalwood would have made this into a 'love' for me.

I liked this more than i thought i would, although I wish it was a little more complex. It's VERY fruity, but not in a syrupy way. It's fresh and juicy; as if you just picked some ripe strawberries and crushed them in your hands, along with the green stems. It's watery and hydrating, feels like summer.

This is a beautiful springy floral scent. This is exactly what I imagine wearing once the florals start blooming. As it drys down you start to smell the fruitiness. It was a very intimate fragrance on me, does not wear long either. Very rose forward, if you don’t care for rose this one is not for you.

I like it! It smells good, I can see how it might be a bit too tart for some but I think maybe adding a vanilla or clean scented lotion could soften it. Anyways smells VERY similar to Candied Lychee by 7 virtues which is one of my favorite and has gotten me so many compliments.

It's nice on it's own, but nothing special. A bit cloying. I don't have much to add to previous reviews, except that a woody fragrance layered over improves it immensely. I don't regret buying it, but I'm glad I got the travel-sized roller ball instead of a full-sized bottle.
