Rosa Limone

I would describe it like a quite luxury fragrance. When I smell this beautiful sillage I can imagine a sophisticated, matured (not in terms of age) woman, she looks gentle, and her appearance is impeccable. She is confident and knows that she is perfect because she made herself so. Lately I have been looking for just such a perfume with a rose, but I wanted to find not a stuffy rose, not fresh and definitely not gammy rose, but exactly this one: gentle, powdery but in moderation, not loud, enveloping but in moderation fresh, not like all roses. It is this special accord that distinguishes it from others, which is added by salty notes (I don't like salty notes at all, but in this case they mach perfectly with powderiness and freshness) and spices. This unusualness of this perfume incredibly attracts me. But at the same time, rosa limone is not one of those perfumes that you don't know where to put, because they are too strange. This perfume is special and at the same time relaxed. I think it suits any occasion.

I am surprised no salt note is listed. It is ozonic rose and lemon with salty air...like.drinking lemon water sat in a garden at the edge overlooking a beach on a sunny day. Not too much of anything. Uplifting and with no rougn edges. Clean, bright and lovely.....edited to say it even works well in winter! The freshies and florals in the new notes collection are hidden gems.. with none of the young trendy ambroxan of their sister fragrances like latte do cherry and cocktail maracjua.... these are your beautiful sunny day, cocktails and sea breezes fragrances..or crisp sunshine on a chilly day. The rose is a lovely pretty bright rose too... nothing old fashioned here. Update 2025 ...new batches smell different...saltiness has gone, freshness is now there but I get a little ambroxan in the opening...was this reformulated :'(

I got this in a new notes discovery set and what a journey! It opens very bright and citrusy and after a couple of hours the florals start shinning through, I can also smell the grounding notes close to my skin but not in the bubble around me. This is beautiful, definitely full bottle worthy, super versatile, I would wear this for any ocassion, even formal ones

Fresh rose with lime peel and grapefruit. Both dewy refreshing and zesty energising. I can see this being easily unisex as the rose is not at all sweet. Any ouch of patchouli that comes through more in the dry down. No hints of oud to my nose (or much of any listed heftier base notes). It wears lighter than the scent note pyramid suggests. Late dry down stage reminded me in passing of Chanel Chance (the original flanker), especially on the clothes vs skin. Have to test longer for the final verdict regarding sillage and longevity. As it is the fall weather here and the cold air does not do this zesty fragrance justice.

Tiny fresh light-pink rose flowers in the morning with dew drops on the edges, held in check by mature, but not overripe lemon, that does not allow them to go into their "grandmother's years". They in return reduce its acidity, thus giving it stability. This creates an incredibly interesting and original fragrance, which lasts just under two hours before dissolving into pure white solid soap, but it is worth trying. If only for that moment when it perfectly combines and surprises you with a suede accord.
