Summer Sun

Edit 01/25 I haven't used this for a really long time. I still haven't even used a quarter of my original bottle. I ended up getting into fragrance big time and just never reached for this but decided to try it again tonight out of curiosity. I'm nowhere near as impressed with it now. It smells nice but it lasts like two minutes. I could decant some to take out with me but I'd have to be topping up every five minutes. It's more like a body mist than an edp. It's got a bit of a harsh smell too. I don't like to say synthetic coz synthetic can be amazing at times but I think it applies here. I doubt that it does smell exactly like BG now tbh, I'd need to test that one again. It's a shame it's so weak coz I think in the really hot summer it'd be lovely paired with a matching body lotion. I might use it for layering in the summer this year and just use it as a topper for something stronger. Smells identical to Bronze Goddess, at least from my memory. I only ever had a free sample of BG and got this after I'd used it up so I haven't tested them side by side. Smells like a pina colada. I'm surprised there's no pineapple in it. Pretty summer scent. Reminds me of being on holiday, suncream and malibu and pineapple juice. Such a good bargain aswell. Huge 100ml bottle for £12 or something (I wish I'd got the gift set with the body cream for around the same price though 🙄). Not the strongest or longest lasting but not terrible, and for the price you don't feel bad overspraying.

Next UK "Summer Sun" 2026 100ml Eau de Parfum 236ml Body Lotion (and a shimmer version) 145ml Body Shimmer Oil I had the pleasure of working for Estee Lauder and every year on training day the Bronze Goddess would be cracked open and all of its variants. We knew summer had arrived when we could spray copious bottles through the season around our scent world, captivating passers by. Hands down, after years of smelling Bronze Goddess, Next have pretty much nailed it. It's about 20% weaker but it's exactly the same juice and I love it. The Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Body Cream was outstanding and the Next Summer Sun Body Lotion is an excellent replica Personally, I'd avoid the SHIMMER it's very silver, and the grade of mica isn't refined. Just stick to the perfume and body lotion. 4-5 hours lasting power of you've sprayed onto oil or body cream. TIP: If you own Dior "Amber Nuit" I'd spray that first then the Summer Sun for an extra boozy summer scent.

I've been buying this for years and really love it. £14 for 100ml with a free 200ml matching body lotion. Bargain! I also have the 2019 EDP of EL Bronze Goddess, whish cost around £85 for 100ml. They smell and perform so similarly it's crazy. BG has slightly more defined florals. I wear fragrance for my own pleasure and like to be able to smell my own fragrance, so I do tend to over spray. This I can spray freely with abandon, while saving the EL BG for when I am going out. Next also do a fragrance called Pure Happiness, which I am also a big fan of. It's a creamy white floral, with Jasmine, bergamot, lemon, almond, coconut, vanilla, amber and sandalwood. I would highly recommend trying this one too, if you can get it!

Another eBay bargain! I only got a 10ml travel spray as it was a blind buy , but I had a good idea how it would smell from the notes . I'm very happy with it for the low price I paid , I will definitely be seeking out a large bottle for next summer now. It's a beautiful coconut, tiare flower beachy tropical goddess type perfume. Lasted quite.a while on my skin . Nice caramel and amber dry down. Id wear this on sultry summer nights and even in the early autumn days ,which it is right now in the UK . In the high heat of the day in summer I prefer freshies/Colognes and even mens frags , I can't wear these type of frags in the day as I find them a bit sickly for me. Perfect for summer nights !!

It's Spring here at the moment and I happened to come across this bottle in my collection and gave a spray. A lovely suncream coconut scent that evokes Summer sun holidays. On me I get a lovely gentle white floral note with a warm caramel base that saves it from being a screechy beach only scent. It doesn't actually seem out of place to wear it at this time of year so I wouldnt class it as only a Summer scent. I get no ginger as others have noted and although I can see the commonalities between this and Crystal Noir I find this much less cloying and abrasive. Cheap and cheerful and lasts well for the price! Recommend - especially if you love coconut!

It’s your basic tropical coconut. Smells exactly like Hawaiian Tropic sun tan oil/suncream. The longevity is decent (lasts better on clothing than it does on skin) but you’re not going to want to wear anything super strong in hot weather anyway. It’s also warm enough for colder months, especially if you need cheering up from dismal British winter 😅 ETA: layers very well with woody fragrances.

My favourite summer perfume, so glad i discovered this gem! I actually prefer this to Bronze Goddess after smelling the two, I find BG can be quite powdery where as SS is more fresh & summery. Coconut, suncream & the sea is the smell of this perfume. It instantly transports me to summer everytime I wear it, for the price this is a steal. Highly recommend if you love a coconut fragrance

An easy to wear, tropical cheapie that's perfect for days at the beach. Coconut and caramel with a touch of bergamot, sea salt and ginger, it's not incredibly complex but I really enjoy it in the heat.

Smells so pretty and summery! It smells like a holiday abroad in a bottle. My go to throughout the summer, a dupe for bronze goddess by Estée Lauder. Very fresh scent and longevity is quite good too!

When I’m looking for a coconut fragrance, this is what I want! It’s not diluted down with vanilla, it’s pure suncream coconut, and I love it!

This is such a fun fragrance! Would be totally perfect to pair with your next summer holiday. On my skin it smells more fruity than coconutty which I like. To me, the combination of notes listed smell like drinking a Pina Colada by the pool or on the beach just after you've applied your suncream! It has a warm sweet undertone which adds to that warm weather feeling. This presents itself as a daytime scent but I think the scent works well in evening time for casual, fun drinks and partying! Longevity and sillage are average but for the price who can complain! I have had higher priced fragrances disappear within 30 minutes. This lasted 3 hrs on me with only 2 sprays. 8/10

This doesn't smell like bronze Goddess to me. It's got a very gingery note to it alongside the bergamot which is slightly citrusey and although the amber note does smell like vague suncream it definitely shouts Christmas in the sun to me! As it dries down I get a bit more coconut. It doesn't have the greatest longevity or sillage so it becomes a skin scent more quickly as long as you don't spray too much. This makes it much more office friendly than bronze Goddess. But the loud ginger on my skin makes this less of a summer fragrance.

My mum came to my house wearing this, she smelled like the copy of dark Amber and ginger lily that came in a little miniature gift set a few Christmases ago from aldi. This perfume she has is also a lot like crystal noir but she gave me her bottle so I thought it was the dark Amber dupe. I was surprised to hear its this, and it was very nice and projected. Today she said I can have her bottle because it gave her a headache

I had this before Bronze Goddess and I do love a sunscreen lotion sun scent. Since buying BG I’ve gone off this one a bit and gave it away. It doesn’t quite hit the BG mark for me, but is perfect if your budget doesn’t stretch to Estée Lauder.

Total copy of Bronze Goddess and a very good one at that. Perfect for a summer day or night, office or beach, party or dinner as long as its summer. Delicious coconut. Super cheap and fairly good silage.

a surprise hit for me; it smells like suncream, tropical body sprays and tanning lotion. definitely a summer holiday scent, a fragrance for lounging around a pool.

It’s for a blond lady in her fourties ,who likes going to coffee shops and eats chocolate croissants with cappuccino after a long day of shopping in a mall First spray was synthetic and after two hours the smell settled into a synthetic caramel gingerbread smell ,for me it doesn’t smell like Ester Lauder bronze godess

This was unfortunately a strong dislike for me... it smells like suncream to me but worse. I think this is an incredible performer though and amazing value, so I would still recommend this for those that like those kind of smells. This also got me a ton of compliments, including from people who said they disliked this smell when they smelt it on the lid, yet they loved it when I wore it on my skin and asked me what I was wearing. It projects like crazy, with crazy sillage and lasting power. For a summery, coconut-y scent I’d say this is quite surprising, so definitely get this if this is for you. It was just wasn’t for me at all and made me feel a bit nauseous. Gave it to someone who loves it though.

Youtube told me this smelt the same a Bum Bum cream but for me it was nowhere near as subtle. If you LOVE coconut then you'll like this. I might give away to a coconut fragrance lover.

Unfortunately I registered with fragrantica mainly to leave a review for this that is unfavourable. I saw how highly it was rated, the good reviews etc and bought 200ml. To say I was let down is an understatement, yes it's cheap but you get what you pay for. It's so artificial and not summery, more of a gingerbread vibe. I gave it to my daughter but regret that decision as I still have to smell it around the house. Its only saving Grace is that actually the dry down is a very pleasant caramel and it lasts a long time.

Bought this after hearing it was a dupe for bronze goddess. I get compliments wearing this! It has that caramel base and exotic bergamot, floral and coconut mix that exudes tropical and summery vibes. I love to wear this this in the summer or on holiday but only then really. Wish it had more lasting power but for the price point can’t really go wrong?

This smells warm & tropical. It reminds me of tanning oil which gives it a dense feeling. There’s also citrusy bergamot which cuts through keeping it fresh at the same time. I’d says it’s a fresher version of Bronze Goddess. Lovely, quick summer throw on scent. If I spray generously I can still smell it for around 6 hours. Great cheapie💫

On me this becomes a cloying messy tanning oil scent. On my cousin it's a dreamy tiare flower mixed with amber. You can't win them all. Next had a gorgeous limited edition Summer scent this year, island goddess, which I loved and on me smelt like Aerin hibiscus palm. Wish they'd bring it back permanently

I love love love this perfume. The initial spray is not as good as the dry down but its a very pretty tropical scent for summer. It is so affordable and perfect for school or the office. Because of its price you can over spray and not worry.

This is no good, a real scrubber! So artificial like sun-tanning lotion 🙄 never as pretty as their 'Paradise' scent ✨ which I much prefer!!

Good bronze goddess dupe. Wearing today as we have been promised good bank holidays weather !
