Berry Craving 23.06

Berry Craving is meant to represent a beautiful dream that takes you back to childhood. Childhood: the joyful, happy, carefree memories that often carry a sweet, lively scent, just like this perfume, which, I should say, I really enjoyed. Slightly tangy red berries, bright and sparkling, with a floral touch that’s barely perceptible, almost just an accompainment. It almost feels like drinking a daiquiri, but if we’re speaking of childhood memories, it reminds me of those moments when we’d steal candies and eat them in secret, maybe under a tree in the countryside, laughing with friends. Truly lovely, it lifts your mood and is ideal for the warmer seasons. We’re talking about very delicate, elegant fragrances, so the performance is moderate. “Children Eating Grapes” by Ivan Mrkvička.

Its lovley perfume. Synthetic? Where? Beautifull berry, lychee and rose combo. For me its lighter version of delina exclusif with berries. Longevity could be better, but I don't mind re-apply.

Artificially sweet rose. Never have I ever smelled a perfume so synthetic and plasticky, and I'm no stranger to celeb frags and cheapies. Similarly to Very Good Girl, it opens with juicy litchi and berries, and for the first hour or so it's quite likeable despite patchouli being the odd one out as per usual; the patchouli base isn't the worst thing this perfume has to offer, however. Around an hour in, something so awfully plasticky (rhubarb + rose combo mayhaps) comes out that I had to scrub it off both times I gave this perfume a chance. Unacceptable even for a cheapie as it deems the scent unwearable unless you fancy smelling like melting plastic. A promising composition with a very poor execution.

It's really sad to find such things in a niche. What kind of niche is this? They mixed red fruits, berries, added musk and that's it. Super synthetic, smells like mass market, nothing new, nothing interesting. At the very beginning, behind all this berry chemical stuff, something aquatic seemed to peek out. This is how hair smells after a berry conditioner, but after 5 minutes it disappeared and a sour-musky misunderstanding remained.

Reminds me of Juice by Commodity and also Psychedelicious by Coreterno, strong on the fruit, in the drydown you can smell crayons. It's okay, not personally my favorite type of fragrance.
