Bright, fresh opening with a mix of fruit and black pepper. Gorgeous woody, floral mid retaining much of that fresh opening. Transitions to a musky, balsamic sweetness in the dry down. This one is perfectly unisex and has very good performance. I could see this being worn year-round with spray control. Day or night. More casual than dressy. This one is gonna be a compliment puller.

Going through the Nicheend sample set. Planet X is not niche at all, to be honest. More vintage than niche. It's a slightly fresh, spicy and ambery fragrance. It has floral aspects (I smell mostly the magnolia) and some vanillic (benzoin) musk in the drydown. It's also got a slight vintage cologne kind of vibe from the patchouli. I'm not usually big into patchouli but it's done very well here, it's not the "hippie" type at all. I can see this being a compliment puller thanks to the pear's sweetness. It lasts quite a while too, 8+ hours like many of the house's perfumes. This is the kind of thing I can see being used all year round day and night but maybe be careful with sprays in warm weather (because of the sweetness). It's a like from me, not a love. The patchouli here is kind of hindering my enjoyment a bit but that's a very personal thing.

Fairly unique. A bit masculine, a bit feminine. Nets out unisex. It's okay...would appreciate it more if not for the sweet, candy-like notes.

The opening with pear, citruses and magnolia reminds me that of J'adore's; it's clean, fresh and a tad sweet -not sickly sweet, just enough to lure you in. But when it starts to settle in, there's this note that dominates the whole scent on me, maybe because of those "sweet notes". I'd definitely suggest to test it before buying.
