Pink Friday 2

My Review of #PinkFriday2Perfume: Before I begin it’s important to stress how a perfume smells on your body is dependent upon your skin’s pH balance. The dry down of PF2 on my skin smells like I am fresh out of the shower. I first put it on after I got out of the shower, so I just assumed that’s why. After a few hours, it still smelled like I was fresh out of the shower. The scent that lingers on my skin is aldehyde, which gives the other notes a lift. Since there’s 3 floral scents in PF2 the combination of aldehyde with floral chords, the perfume often takes on a “clean” or “powder” scent. The after shower scent that lingers on my skin I am assuming is coming from the 3 middle notes in PF2 which is Mimosa, Damask Rose, and African Orange Flower. You can find aldehyde in Chanel No. 5. The difference is when I wear Chanel No. 5 the aldehydic scent is too overpowering. In PF2, the aldehydic scent is not overpowering. It’s just right. What I love about this perfume, it doesn’t smell like any other perfume. I love the non overbearing scent of PF2. It reminds me of how Tiffany & Co does their fragrance formula. It’s airy and light with a hint of seduction.

I really; really; really LOVE this! To my nose I get a Fresh Clean Laundry Dryer Sheet; with a hint of Sweetness from the Fruit but not a Candy Sweet; a hint of the Powderyness mixed with an Old school Lipstick smell. Sounds crazy but smells so; so; so; so good! Very different from PF1 so if You have that one by getting this one you’re not getting the same scent! This is a perfect signature scent; great throw on and go; great for everyday; all year round! I think it’s worth picking up even in a Travel if You can’t get a Full Size Bottle! Also this does last on my Skin for at least 3-4 Hours and even longer when I wear it on top of Oil & Lotion! The bottle of Course is the Iconic Pink Friday Album Cover just a different color top! I Love It; it really does look like Nicki’s Face! And No i’m not a Barb! I think I may need a backup because I know during Spring and Summer this will be even better!

Jovan white musk is a DUPEEE , smelled it at JcPenny and instantly was like "yup that Jovan white musk" just pink friday 2 had this slightest bit of sweetness but just a little bit Jovan white musk has no sweetness at all compared to the original pink friday they smell nowhere alike they are very very very very different and complete opposites even if they were alike in some way its pink friday wayyyyyy more older like in her 40s or 50s but in a good way, pink friday is more juvenile and a bit immature if I'd give og pink friday an age I'd say 13 and pink friday 2, 40 , the new pink friday 2 is soapy a bit powdery and mature if you don't like clean soapy powdery mature fragrances then this isn't for you.

Okay, hold a second! This is a MUST HAVE! It smells clean, fresh, musky with a light floral aspect. I am honestly wowed as this smells nothing like the fruity accord of past NM releases. Someone mentioned how this reminds them of Chanel No.5 and they are absolutely right. Pink Friday 2 is such a refined fragrance that I have worn to the office, in errands and in a small gathering, and it WORKS. I see anyone of any age, wearing this easily. It is so mass appeal and very approachable. I love love looooooove this fragrance and have to give it up to Nicki Minaj on this one. From my POV, this is the BEST celebrity fragrance release of 2023.

This is probably my favorite perfume out of all Nicki's (majesty comes close second). This one is a very clean, mature powdery scent. But not powdery like an old lady, powdery like baby powder or dove soap. Very light and airy and if you are looking for a baby powder perfume scent, THIS is it. If you are used to Nicki's previous perfumes, they are very fruity but this one isn't to me. Some people bring up smelling fruit notes but to my nose i really don't smell fruit at all, not even faintly. So Nicki really took a sophificated clean mature approach with this one. This will probably be my new daily wearer, that's how impressed i am.
