Fig-Tea Intense

Summer in a bottle and I’m in love! I love the original Fig Tea. It’s one of the best and most realistic Osmanthus scents I own. The down side is the wear. The original is a light skin scent. Mostly I wear it at bedtime; it’s soothing and calming. Fig Tea Intense is a bolder version with more of a citrusy forward twist. It’s absolutely delicious. I do get less Osmanthus but I’m not disappointed because this fragrance is so cheery! I will definitely be grabbing for this a lot this summer. If you have the original, I think this could be just different enough to warrant having both. I’m really pleased.

Opens with a nuke of citrus, which I'm not a huge fan of. Fortunately after half an hour the citrus fades and for the next 10+ hours it smells like a gorgeous combination of osmanthus, oakmoss, and tea. The scent itself is soft and airy but the performance is beastly, I keep getting whiffs of it on myself throughout the day. This fragrance is evocative of visiting a boba shop in the summer and ordering a cup of fragrant and refreshing iced fruit tea. This is my definitive warm weather fragrance.

One spritz of Fig Tea Intense and you find yourself in a Mediterranean orchard where a cool breeze caresses you as you sit under the tree in the dappled sunlight. With just a hint of sweetness, the refreshing citrus, sparkling tea notes, sun-drenched fig, and elegant woody notes encapsulate the “Mediterranean summer vibe” and make it perfectly unisex as well as just right for the summer . Been wearing it all the time in the intense heatwave India has currently and love the fragrance.

Starts out quite sweet and fruity, but within an hour or so dries down to a really classy, drier scent dominated by mate, oakmoss, wood accords. There is a little bit of “fuzziness” reminiscent of fig leaves. A couple hours later, the oakmoss and amber base is really shining, and it feels like a super cozy traditional men’s scent, but it’s still very light and fresh. Love it! I have found my spring/summer tea fragrance! Lovely burst of fresh citrus at the opening, the tea emerges in the middle and the musky warm drydown lasts 4-6 hours. I adore Neroli Outrenoir in the fall or when it is raining, this is my sunny day alternative.

When I read the reviews earlier, I didn't appreciate how green this would lean, particularly because the accords are showing sweet instead of green. I don't really detect much sweetness here, if any at all. Instead, it starts citrusy and figgy (but less fruity and more green figgy), and dries down to an eternal combination of moss, davana and mate interspersed with dry woods. You REALLY need to be a big fan of green scents to enjoy the company of the extended drydown. I am not, particularly because they give me a headache and make me feel sick. So, the BEASLTLY citrus opening of the Fig Tea Intense is where it's all at for me, sadly. If you like this scent neighborhood but don't get along with greens, I recommend Fig Infusion by Essential Parfums. It's not as boldly citrusy, but the musks, freesia and orange blossom keep a check on the otherwise green composition. Also, classical is probably the right term to describe the scent? It's not old-fashioned in any particular way, but something about it feels like it doesn't belong in the modern world... So, I wouldn't recommend it to someone in their 20s or even 30s. Its composed character feels removed from contemporary bright-musky perfumery. Take that with a grain of salt, of course, could very well be just me...

It produces an oily, humid citrus floral haze with a lotion‐like texture. The diffusion has the same plasticky, waxy citrus‐floral quality found in Eau des Sens and, more lightly, Florabloom Forte. The elements combine in a way that feels misaligned and unpleasant, creating a dense, cosmetic‐toned scent that never resolves.

It opens with a bright lemon tea aroma with the citrus taking center stage ❤️ The citrus doesn’t stick around for too long but it’s definitely the star of the opening As it develops it transforms into a creamy fig and tea blend that reminds me of a refreshing glass of iced tea🍹 It smells like a fruity iced tea by the beach It’s fresh, uplifting, and effortlessly summery 😋😍 The fragrance is beautiful the performance is amazing and the transition from the sparkling citrus opening to the creamy fig and tea heart is incredibly smooth 🥰 It doesn’t remind me of anything else I’ve tried whether as a tea fragrance or a fig fragrance It has its own unique character and I genuinely love it ❤️ I can’t help but feel like layering it with a touch of jasmine would make it even more magical Instagram: @passcents_

A sweet aromatic tea blended with lychee and fig. To me, it feels less like a perfume and more like an exotic fruit tea...warm, slightly honeyed and incredibly comforting. The fragrance is watery, delicate and airy, without becoming overly sweet. Everything is blended softly: juicy fruits, gentle tea nuances and a subtle refreshing quality. There is something very calming and serene about it, like slowly drinking tea in a quiet Asian garden.

Same as the regular version, just longer lasting and slightly "deeper". The scent itself otherwise feels identical! I both like it and bought a bottle, but it is somewhat redundant if you're already happy with the original.

Smoother, woodier in the base, generally stronger, and more unisex vs the original - these are all positives IMO! Yum
